I ran through the woods, panting for breath while the creature behind me was breathing perfectly steadily.
I rushed through the undergrowth, feet crunching noisily in the leaves.
I skidded to a stop as the creature dropped down in front of me.
I screamed with shock.
"Aw! I lost again?!" I whined, as I heard a whispy chuckle echo from his shadowy face.
"You're not very good at running from me," Raven chuckled. I huffed and crossed my arms.
"Because you're too fast!" I complained,
"You don't even go easy on me!"
He laughed and grabbed my arm before dragging me back through the woods, neon purple eyes shifting into heart shapes.
"If I went easy on you, I would never win!" He chuckled as I huffed.
Of course, he has no face, so I can't kiss him, but I probably would've. He says he likes my smiles though, so I often smiled at him.
