Much to Jecoliah's surprise the doctors Mycroft hired to cure her "curse" of not having children were actually able to find a way to cure her and she and Sherlock had a son they named Victor William Trevor Holmes a year after she was "cured" but before that they bought a dog which they named Redbeard yes both were named in honor of the friend.... and fellow pirate.... Sherlock had as a child that never got a chance to grow up the dog they adopted is a Irish Settler which was what Redbeard always was in his memory's and Mind Palace it was Jecoliah's idea to name the dog and child those two very specific names for the very purpose of honoring the boy she never knew or even got a chance to meet it surprised her that Sherlock not only agreed but seemed happy that she came up with the idea yes his father is allergic to dogs but when Jecoliah suggested he should attempt to try some allergy medicine if he ever wanted to see not only her and Sherlock again but his grandchild(ren) he tried out a few before he found one that not only seemed to work but didn't make all of his other "problems" flare up Sherlock was ecstatic when they had their first child and thanks to John, Michiko and Niyusha bringing their children over he had lots of practice with children of that particular age though diaper changing was quite an ordeal at first he was determined to learn EVERYTHING about how to raise a child of his own and NOT make it a case he had to solve he "grew into" his "role" as a father rather quickly and loves every second of it.... since the "final" case was solved and they all could stop pretending to be overly depressed Mary was allowed to come back home to her husband and daughter which was the happiest day of John and Mary's life.... other than meeting each other, marrying and having their daughter of course.... Mary still works for Mycroft on occasion she even works side by side with James as well on some of the cases Mycroft assigns her so she actually got a chance to meet the "mysterious" genius everyone spoke of far too often.... Niyusha and James had a son a two years after Victor was born who they named Arden after Jecoliah's Uncle who died not too long after meeting his grandnephew
