With it still being early in the morning, I knew everyone was probably still asleep, so I grabbed my stuff and started towards the house. As I made my way up the hill, I couldn't help but smile at the familiar scent of muffins lingering in the air. Oh how Mrs. Weasley loved her baking.

As I walked through the front door, Mrs. Weasley immediately greeted me with a warm hug. "Oh, good to see you Flora dear! How was the trip? How's mum and dad?" she asked.

"Oh everything went fine. And they're doing great!" I exclaimed. "How has everything been here?"

"Oh just about the same as it always is," she started, as she returned back to her baking. "Everyone is thrilled to see you. I think that's been the only topic here for two days now."

I smiled at just the thought of seeing everyone. I became close with the infamous Harry Potter my second year of school at Beauxbatons. God I hated that school; there was nothing but rich snobs who attended. My parents claimed they wanted me to try other schools before attending Hogwarts, but I think the real reason had to do Harry himself.

They were frightened once they found out that, 'The Boy Who Lived,' was to attend Hogwarts my first year, but I didn't know the dangers he brought with him at the time. I just thought he was a normal kid like myself, other than the fact that he was almost assassinated.

Apart from that, Harry and I met when I went and toured Hogwarts my second year. I was supposed to attend third year, but once the word got out about Sirius Black escaping Azkaban, I was still to attend Beauxbatons for another term. Once I had begged not to attend Beauxbatons for another year, my parents finally agreed to let me attend Hogwarts.

The summer after my second year, I visited Harry and he introduced me to all of his friends. Him and I soon became like brother and sister. Soon after, I met my lifelong bestfriend, Hermione Granger, and Harry's little sidekick, Ron Weasley. From there, I became apart of their group. Once the lot and I became closer, they invited me to spend the last three weeks of summer with them ever since then.

That summer was the best.

The Weasley's became my family away from home. I was the only child, so it was nice to spend a summer with others, especially the twins. The twins and I became inseparable that summer. We were constantly playing pranks on each other, as well as the others. Although we are all just friends, Fred and I have always had this special connection. We would always throw little flirty remarks here and there, but for the most part, it has been a casual friendship.

"Flo.. Flora dear.. Florence!" called Mrs. Weasley, and I quickly snapped out of the flashbacks and turned towards her. "Oh sorry Mrs. Weasley. What is it you asked?" I questioned.

"That's okay dearest. I was wondering if you would help me prepare the table for breakfast? I was wanting you to go pick some flowers for a fresh centerpiece after you've put your things away. You remember where your room is don't you?" asked Mrs. Weasley.

"Yes mam. I'll be on way," I affirmed. With a quick smile and nod from her, I set off to find my room. The Burrow held many, many rooms; one for each and every single one of us.

Once I found my room, I couldn't help but smile; everything still looked to be in its place since last summer. Focusing, I quickly put my belongings away, and set off to find the most beautiful flowers for the table. As I made my way downstairs, I decided I would pick the flowers that grew by the pond, which was located a little further into the woods behind the house.

Before I left, I remebered how chilly it was in the morning, even it being summertime. Luckily, I found an oversized, forest green jumper lying on the back of the couch. I picked it up and couldn't help but blush as I noticed the letter 'F' sewn onto the sweater. With this, I was off to pick flowers.
