Lilith Swan has always been the outcast of her family, she's always been the more outgoing of the two Swan girls. But Charlie and Renee always chose Bella, even though Lilith has done many things to make them proud it's always been Bella so Lilith did her own thing.
Since Charlie and Renee never paid Lilith any attention she would get away with different things like partying and gambling.
Finally having enough Lilith leaves when she turns 18 to Las Vegas, there she got a job as a bartender. On the days she's free she would go to casinos and with her experience of playing cards back in Seattle during her younger days she'd win a lot of money. When she got enough she changed her last name and got a tattoo.
