The two guy clearly wasn't amused at our reaction. If I was him, I would not be happy either with thousands of people laughing simultaneously at me.

The starting speech was truthfully underwhelming, there was no epic echo of "Hello Earthings", there was no grandeur in their words that signifies a life changing moment for all of us. It was very simple and yet, amiable.

The younger man was annoyed at the situation, his confusion wearing away and replacing it with a frown and a slight twitch. The other was just staring at all of us as if we were the exhibits and not them.

I took a glance at the army, the soldiers were smiling and shaking their head, equally amused like us. The ladies were sadly conspicuous as they howled in laughter, sounding like a mixture of elephants, hyenas and witches having a godforsaken meeting.

I winced at that laughter, as it echoes throughout the field. My dad, on the other hand, was guffawing and hitting his tummy repeatedly while wiping his eyes with a tissue. He took a look at me and sobered up. I guess my expression dampened his mood. Oops?

I shook my head as I hid my smile, "Seriously dad?" and all I got for a reply was his sheepish grin.

Finally, after a few minutes of 'harem sounding' laughter, it died off. The men on the podium seemed to be a little bit more at ease knowing we had finally stopped laughing at his expense.

As the laughter died off, the cold and tense atmosphere were back, especially at the borders of the field, but despite that, it was obviously down by a huge notch.

"I am so sorry" a clear and wise voice rang throughout the field. My head snapped to the screen. The older man had obviously calmed down and his voice rang without any hint of hesitation.

"Please allow me to do the introductions again." He gave a comfortable pause before starting again.

"Hello my fellow Earthlings, I'm Wiarc Meda Hardt and beside me is my son, Luxius Meda Hardt. We are from another planet thousands of light years away from you guys, a planet known as Ozias. We come in peace and I wish no harm but if deemed necessary, I will protect my son and myself shall you guys try anything dangerous." he paused to look around the field.

"As you all can hear and perhaps are wondering now, the people of Ozias do speak your preferred mode of language which is English so surprisingly, there will be no communication barriers at all. Though, my planet do have our own language system but that is another story for another day." he smiled at the camera.

"It is amazing and a shock to us that we have found a civilization with such similarities with us and I like to think that it is fate that bring us together." he stopped, the smile on his face became wider. His beam brought a smile to my face too, his voice was so soothing and calming.

"Today, we will make history between Earth and Ozias. The meeting of a lifetime where the impossible can became possible. With this, I humbled myself in your presence and on this beautiful blue planet you call home. Thank you." with that, he gave a bow.

Immediately, the crowd began cheering as they clapped. The journalists were busy translating and adding their own spices to their report as the camera roll.

The cheer and clap thundered the scene and as the two figure were escorted down the podium.

I glanced at the bow and arrow resting beside me. I guess I won't use them after all, for now.

I fidget in my seat nervously. I couldn't believe my dad dragged me into this! Even though the air conditioner was blasting at 23 degree, my palms were sweating. Stupid nerves.
