The next couple of months flew by, Joshua was still in touch with Ryder and Robert, but he still hadn't contacted their parents. He didn't want to either. Even though, Angelica was Clara's biological mother Joshua and Clay didn't have to take her to go see Angelica. Because Angelica signed away her rights for Clara. Angelica said that she didn't want Clara, anyway. But Angelica's father reached out to Joshua and Clay about Clara.

He apologised about what had happened many times. He didn't even know about Clara. Angelica had left him a long time ago. Her father didn't even know where she was, but he saw a picture of her on the news. He saw Clara. Well, he didn't actually see her, but he heard about her and wanted to meet her.

Joshua and Clay had reservations about him meeting her at first, but he was delighted to meet his granddaughter and he thanked Joshua for taking care of her. He didn't go to see Angelica in prison. He didn't want to. Which Joshua and Clay could understand.

Joshua woke up in bed with Clay. Of course, they were both naked. Joshua's head was lying on Clay's bare chest. Clay's arms were wrapped around Joshua tight. Joshua looked up at Clay. He was still asleep.

Joshua just snuggled into back into Clay, Clay's arms got tighter around Joshua. Clay loved waking up with Joshua. Clay dug his nose into Joshua's hair and sniffed. Joshua's hair always smelt fantastic.

"Good morning." Clay murmured; Joshua could hear the smile in his voice. "Good morning." Joshua replied.

Then Joshua started grinning. Clara was still asleep. They weren't hearing anything from the baby monitor. So, she must be still asleep. "We have some time before we have to get up." Clay purred at him.

Joshua just grinned. Clay rolled on top of him and then the baby monitor went off. "Ugh." Clay groaned and rolled off Joshua. Joshua got off the bed and grabbed a pair of underwear and a shirt.

"I'll get her. You get started on breakfast." Joshua told him. Clay just groaned, rolling between the sheets on the bed. Joshua then left the room, Clay eventually got up from the bed and put on some clothes. Jeremy got a job in a restaurant and Clay decided not to hire another butler. Jeremy loved being a chef and Clay liked to cook as well. So, he cooked most of the meals that he ate.

Clay walked into the kitchen and started taking out the eggs for breakfast.

Joshua came down a few minutes later with Clara in his arms. "Good morning, sweetheart." Clay greeted her with a kiss on her forehead. Breakfast was ready a few minutes later. It was delicious.

"Did you have a good sleep last night?" Clay asked Clara. Clara nodded her head as if she was understanding him. She probably was. She was incredibly smart. After breakfast, Clay stayed downstairs with Clara while, Joshua went upstairs to get dressed. They didn't really have a plan for the day, though they were meeting Thomas for lunch. Thomas' café had really thrived in the last couple of months.

"Hey, want to into the city before we go to meet Thomas?" Joshua suggested to Clay when he walked down the stairs. Clay nodded. "Yeah, we can go to the park or something." Clay replied. Clara reached her arms out to Joshua when she saw him. Joshua took her and gestured for Clay to go and get changed.

After Clay came back downstairs, they got Clara ready to go. Alex was waiting outside in the car and they now had a car seat there. They put Clara in the backseat and Alex drove off. "We're going to the park, right?" Alex asked just to make sure. He had never told Clay who had broken up with him, never taken any time off either. But he seemed to be doing better these days anyway so Clay took that as a good sign.

"Yeah, we're going to the park." Joshua replied.

"You can come with us into the park, you know." Clay told him with a chuckle. Alex laughed as well. "Fine, I'll come in today."

"You can come to lunch as well, I'm sure that Thomas wouldn't mind. You know Thomas, right?" Joshua asked. Alex just nodded.

"Yeah, I do. I know that you'll just keep begging me to come. So, I'll come." Alex replied. Joshua just grinned at him.

They arrived at the park and they head straight to the playground. They put Clara in the baby swings and started pushing her gently. Today, Alex actually wasn't wearing a suit. He was just wearing a shirt and a pair of jeans. His muscles could be seen flexing beneath his shirt. That attracted the stares of the women that were in the playground. But Alex paid no attention to them. He wasn't into women.

But that didn't stop the women from flirting with him.

Clay and Joshua couldn't help but chuckle at him. They spent the next few hours at the park before they had to leave to go meet Thomas for lunch. Alex seemed to be happy to leave. They walked back to the car and Alex got into the drivers' seat. Joshua and Clay put Clara in her car seat.

They drove to the restaurant that they were supposed to be meeting Thomas in. Alex parked the car and they all got out. Thomas was already inside, waiting for them. Everyone knew that Clay had a ring for Joshua. But Joshua didn't know. Of course, he didn't know. Joshua had no clue. Clay had a date planned for next week. That was when he was going to ask.

Hannah had offered to watch Clara for the night. When Clay told Hannah what he planned to do during the date and she just squealed in happiness. But she had promised not to tell Joshua. Hannah said that she could keep a secret and Clay was trusting her. He was hoping that she wouldn't tell Joshua. Clay wanted it to be a surprise.

"Hey." Clay and Joshua greeted Thomas when they came into the restaurant. Joshua was holding Clara and Alex was trailing behind them. None of them know what had happened to Thomas. Thomas had met an amazing guy, had the most amazing sex with him. They went on a couple of dates, but the guy texted him, telling him that he couldn't see Thomas anymore. Thomas tried texting him, but the number was cut off. Thomas had to get back up again. And start dating again. Thomas looked past Joshua and saw Alex. Alex was cute but Thomas couldn't see himself going out with Alex.

After ordering their food, they all started talking. "So, anyone have any news? Thomas, how's the café doing?" Joshua asked him.

Thomas grinned.

"Yeah, it's going good. The manager is there now, so things should be flowing smoothly. She's a good manager, so I hope she can handle it." Thomas replied. Joshua smiled back at him.

"Yeah, I'm sure that she's doing fine."

Joshua looked around the table. He remembered the day he met Clay. He was working in the café. Clay came up and asked for his number. Joshua couldn't help but chuckle. Clay looked at him. Clay had his arm wrapped around Joshua's waist.

"What are you laughing at?" Clay asked. Joshua grinned.

"Oh, just the day we met." Joshua replied. Clay arched an eyebrow.

"Oh, really?" Clay asked. "The best day of my life." Clay then added. Clay leant down and kissed Joshua on the mouth. "Really?"

"Really. I don't know what I'd do without you. I wouldn't have ever of met Clara without you. You're my whole life and I love you."

"I love you, too."
