"Good morning, Joshua." Joshua looked up from his computer and saw Clay standing there with a grin on his face. Joshua had spent the evening yesterday, looking at better apartments that he could move into.

Joshua knew that he wanted Clay and he was attracted to him, but he was a CEO and he didn't want to seem like some sort of gold-digger. Which he wasn't. "Good morning." Joshua replied with a shaky smile on his face. What did Clay want? Joshua thought as he stared at the man that was in front of him.

"What can I do for you?" Joshua asked the man who was standing in front of him wearing a designer suit.

"I was wondering if we could talk in my office later." Clay told him. Why did Clay want to talk to him? Was it something bad? Joshua couldn't help but wonder that. "Is something bad?" Joshua couldn't help but ask. Clay grinned again.

"I hope not. We'll talk later, I'll come and get you." Clay told him and then turned around and left. Joshua was left staring after him with a weird expression on his face. What was that all about? Joshua thought but he managed to look back at the computer screen.

Joshua tried to focus on his work for the next couple of hours, but his mind drifted back to Clay and why he wanted to talk to him. His mind was a wreck.

He wanted to find out what it was, but he didn't want to find out at the same time. He was nervous.

He was in the middle of working on something on his computer when Clay's voice interrupted him. "Can I talk to you now?" Clay asked, Joshua looked up and nodded. "Sure." Joshua replied and got up from his chair and started following Clay.

He took a breath when he was in the elevator that was going up to Clay's office. He released it shakily.

"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Joshua asked Clay when they went into the office. Clay went behind the desk and gestured for Joshua to sit down. "You can sit down." Clay told him.

Joshua slowly lowered himself into the chair that was in front of the desk. "So, now can you tell me what you wanted to talk about?" Joshua asked Clay. Clay raised an eyebrow at him.

"So, there's that fiery temper that I have been waiting to come out." Clay murmured. Joshua just chuckled. Of course, Clay would think that.

"So, I have to go to a charity ball, and I was wondering if you would come with me?" Clay asked.

Joshua was stunned. Clay wanted to go to a charity ball with him. Why?

"Why do you want to go with me?" Joshua asked finally after a few minutes of silence. Clay looked surprised. "Why can't I go with you?" Clay asked Joshua. Joshua stared at Clay open-mouthed for a few minutes.

"I-I just thought that you would want to go with someone else. You know, like a woman or something." Joshua told him.

"You do know that I'm bi, right?" Clay asked him. Joshua looked shocked. "Y-You're b-bi." Joshua stuttered. Clay grinned at him. "Yes, I am. I am out and I want you to come with me. Please?" Clay begged him.

"What about Clara?" Joshua asked. If he went with Clay. Who would mind Clara? "Can Marie mind Clara? It's this Saturday." Clay told Joshua. Joshua sighed. "I'll have to ask and then I'll let you know." Joshua told Clay.

"Okay, I'll come by your desk and ask you tomorrow." Clay told him. Joshua nodded and stood up.

"Okay, I'll let you know." Joshua told him and then left the office. He went back to the elevator that he went up in. What was he going to wear? Joshua didn't know. He didn't want Clay to buy him another suit again. He already bought him a lot of clothes. His phone buzzed with a text and Joshua saw that it was Henry.
