CALUM

The moment those words came out of Blake's mouth, I knew I had to act fast before losing her. Is this how Ashton felt? My mouth was dry as I opened it to speak, my hand reaching out to a fleeing Blake. "Wait!" I called, stepping forward.

Yasmin grasped my arm, shaking her head. "I don't know you very well but I just want to tell you this. When I let you go, you'll run after her. Make sure you say the right thing if you want to keep her, because I know for a fact that she actually likes Ashton"

I stared at Yasmin in shock. She sighed and pushed me towards where Blake had run off to. My feet slapped the wooden floorboards loudly, although most people were too busy talking to notice. I spotted Blake's hair as she turned the corner, slowing. "Blake, please!" I called. When I rounded the corner, she stood there, her arms crossed over her chest, her eyes boring into mine.

"I've made up my mind, Calum" She told me, honestly. I shook my head, opening my mouth to speak but she cut me off. "I'm sick of this, okay? I was dating Ashton first, and I was your friend first. When will you realize that that's all we'll ever be?"

"Blake, please. Don't," I shook my head again, stepping closer to her, "This the wrong decision and you know it"

"There isn't a wrong or right decision!" She had raised her voice, looking at me furiously, "And it's my choice anyway! Stop telling me what to do"

"I won't try anything, I'll just be your friend but please, please do not do this" I begged, grasping her hands in mine.

"What?" She sneered. Now it was her time to shake her head, "You can't deal with another girl picking Ashton over you? Get over yourself, Calum"

"That's not it, B" I pulled her closer. "I love you. Hell, he might even love you. I just want to be with you. Only you"

"I can't trust you. I can't believe you"

"You won't believe me" I replied, "It's not that you can't, it's that you won't"

"What's the difference?" Blake laughed dryly, tugging her hands free. "I'm going now. Don't follow me. Don't talk to me, actually. I don't want to be around you right now"

"Why?"

"Because I want to be with Ashton, and with you around, that isn't going to happen" She lowered her voice again, making it barely audible. "Because when I'm around you, all I can think about is having your hands roam my body, your lips placing sweet kisses everywhere-"

I placed a cold hand on her soft cheek and leaned down. Our lips connected and she pressed her small body closer to mine. I slid my hands from her cheeks to her waist and she moved her hands from her side to around my neck. We got lost in each other as we stood in Michael's hallway, our bodies melting into one. She pulled away and took my hand in hers, tugging me towards a door that was slightly ajar. Blake pushed it open further and peered in, sighing in relief before tugging me into the room. I stumbled into the dimly lit room and watched Blake's silhouette close the door, shutting us in complete darkness.

"I love you, too" She murmured before tugging me in the darkness. I blindly followed, my free hand held out in front of me. I saw her silhouette lay down on the couch, pulling me over her. My hands rested next to her head, keeping me steady. She kissed me again, her fingers tangled in my hair as she pulled me closer.

That's when the room lit up. For a moment, I kept kissing her. That was until a hand grabbed my shoulder and I came face to face with Michael. "Can you not? That's my lounge" He growled, glaring at both Blake and I.

"We were just kissing" I replied, suddenly feeling like a kid being scolded by their parents.

"On my couch" Michael rolled his eyes. "Blake, Yasmin is looking for you. She looks very lonely"

Blake nodded and jumped off the lounge, giving my hand a soft squeeze as she walked past. When she was gone, Michael crossed his arms over his chest and raised an eyebrow. "What?" I shrug.

"You were making out with Blake" He smirked.

I beamed, nodding. "Damn right I was" Michael rolled his eyes at me. "She has the softest lips, Michael. And her skin...it's so soft"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever" Michael turned around. "Now, if you're going to make out, don't do it on my lounge. Please. Do it on the floor or not at all"

"Okay, dad" I joked, following him out. As we walked to Luke, I passed Ashton who watched me walk past curiously and I resisted the urge to poke my tongue out at him. Yasmin and Blake sat next to Luke, talking quietly.

As Michael and I sat, Blake nodded and stood from the couch. "We're going to go home. So, we'll see you at school on Monday" She gave Michael and Luke a hug and smiled at me before leaning down, kissing my cheek softly as she hugged me.

"I had fun" Yasmin spoke up, standing behind Blake awkwardly. To me, she said, "Thanks for inviting me"

"Yeah, no problem" I nod and watch them walk to the door.

"Guess what?" Michael said to Luke excitedly. "Calum and Blake made out"

Luke widened his eyes and glanced at me. "Wait, what? When? How? What?"

I grinned, shrugging as I leaned back into the seat, thinking about Blake and her beautiful, soft lips. I thought about the way her hands held my neck gently and the way her body felt under mine. And in that moment, I knew I truly loved her.
