I pulled open the door angrily, pushing my dark hair out of my eyes as I dropped into the seat. Calum turned to me with a bright smile as he glanced at my shirt before looking down at his own fall out boy shirt, "Would you look at that?" he mused, "We match"

I groan, pulling my legs up to my chest, "Shut up, cal" I murmured, "I'm still pissed at you, okay?" Calum chuckled, shaking his head so his brown hair fell over his eyes. I frowned, reaching over to push it away so he could see.

"Jesus" Calum muttered, clenching his jaw, "B, are you trying to get us killed?" He joked, shaking his head once again. I grinned, unplugging his phone from the aux cord and plugging my own phone in, turning on Meghan Trainor. Calum winced, "I thought we agreed no pop, babe"

"Meghan Trainors amazing," I paused, smirking as I leaned over to whisper in his ear, "Babe"

Calum stiffened slightly, still looking at the road. I pulled back, turning away from him as no good for you played loudly. Finally, Calum broke the silence, "You know, I could sing this song to you"

"What?"

"Ashton isn't any good for you" Calum shrugged as he parked in the McDonald's parking lot. I frowned, climbing out hastily before reaching back in and grabbing my phone, "not that you listen to me anyway"

I ignored him as I crossed my arms and walked off towards the entrance, leaving him walking behind me. as I neared the entrance, I heard a familiar voice and grinned, entering. Ashton's back was facing me and in front of him were Michael and Luke, looking annoyed.

"Can you faggots leave please?" Ashton snapped and I paused, staring at him in shock. He continued, oblivious to me standing behind him, "the only reason why I was nice to you two idiots was because of Blake, and now I can't even see her"

"And who's fault is that?" I demanded. I saw him stiffen before he turned slowly, "No one talks to my friends like that, Ashton"

"Blake" Ashton gave me a fake grin, opening his arms, "Babe"

"Really?" Calum stepped around me protectively, hiding me from Ashton, "You aren't going near her, you asshole"

"Calum," Ashton said coldly, glaring at him, "Can you please step away from my girlfriend?"

"Ex," I replied. All eyes turned towards me in shock, "Ex girlfriend" I grabbed the keys from Calum's hand and turned on my heel. I climbed into the car and slammed the door, playing games on my phone as I waited for Calum. Ten minutes later, Calum got into the car holding two frozen cokes. He handed one over to me, twisting in his seat so he was facing me.

"Blake" He murmured, frowning as he reached over to wipe my cheek with his thumb. I hadn't realised I was crying silently, but as his cheek touched my cheek, I sobbed. He said my name once more, wrapping his tanned arms around my body as he held me, stroking my back softly.

"I thought he was a good guy, you know?" I cried into his chest, hiccuping, "But of course he was a complete asshole" I paused, pulling away slightly to wipe my eyes and nose, "I should have listened to you"

Calum shook his head, his hand holding mine firmly, "It isn't your fault, beautiful" He told me, kissing my cheek softly, "How about we go back to yours and watch some movies?"

I smiled, nodding my head like a child. he kissed my cheek again before driving us home. When we reached my house, he turned to me again, wiping my eyes for me. "we can't have your mum knowing, can he?" He joked before climbing out of the car and running around to my side and opening the door before I had the chance to do it myself.

"Can I tell you something?" He asked as we walked towards the door. I gave a slight nod, turning my head to look at him, "I know you really liked him, but he isn't a nice person. He expects the whole world to forgive him when he does something bad, but never forgives people himself"

I opened my mouth but as I caught Calum's eye, I closed it once again. I shrugged my shoulders lightly, pushing the door open. Behind me, Calum sighed and closed the door.

"Blake, is that you?" My mother called as she entered the foyer, "I didn't expect you home so early"

"Ashton was there," Calum spoke up, "So I made her wait in the car and I went in and grabbed some frozen cokes"

My mum frowned slightly, shaking her head. "Alright," She glanced at Calum and nodded towards the living room, indicating she wanted to talk to him alone.

"I'll be in my room" I whispered to him as we passed each other. He smiled at me, squeezing my hand quickly before following my mum. In my room, I lay on the bed, staring upwards at the glow in the dark galaxy that I've had ever since I was little and never took down. The secret phone never went off and I grew worried. If a guy liked you, didn't they try to message you when they stuffed up?

A knock on my door interrupted my thoughts and I told them to come in. Calum opened the door and smiled softly, shutting it behind him. He jumped on the bed next to me and wrapped his arm around my stomach loosely, his head on my shoulder. We stayed like that, both staring at the stars. We didn't speak, or move, and I realised how much I liked the brown haired boy next to me.
