The Visit

I woke up and I realized it was the middle of the night. I woke up from a terrible dream that made me really scared and it traumatized me. I wish it will never come true.

I sat in my bed and Katy was still sleeping. I felt my whole body sweat and I was shaking. After a while, Katy woke up and she saw me. "Hey babes, what's wrong?" She said to me with her motherly voice. "I had a terrible dream that you and everyone around me were gone and I was all alone" I told her. "Don't worry, I will never leave you. I'll be here for you, okay?" Katy said whilst kissing me in the forehead. "Thanks Katy. I love you" i said to her sweetly. "I love you too, princess. Come on, let's go back to sleep" she said while getting ready to lie down and putting the duvet on top of us.

I woke up and it was already morning. I noticed that Katy wasn't beside me. She must've woke up early and cooked breakfast, or maybe jogged and exercised as her usual routine in the morning. But I don't think she went jogging, she can't leave me in her house alone.

I got up and fixed my bed. I slipped on my slippers and went directly to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face to refresh myself. Afterwards, I went out of the bathroom and turned off the aircon as I saw the sunlight go inside the room which makes it real bright and quite hot.

I went down the stairs carefully and I was peeking downstairs if Katy was there or if there were any visitors. I saw the door in the living room nearly closed and a couple of murmurs from people talking.

"I'm fine Katy. I've had a great time so far... Do you have any plans for today?" I heard a voice of someone coming from the living room. It wasn't that familiar to me but I'm positively sure Katy's talking to someone.

"I'm planning to take Hally to the cemetery today, and go to the mall with her... Do you want to join us?" I heard Katy reply to the visitor. "Sure, but what if she doesn't approve of me? Or she's scared or she hates me?" The person replied to Katy in a somewhat worried tone of voice.

"Don't worry about it. I'll tell her everything once she wakes up" Katy said with a cheerful tone.

I was just eavesdropping on Katy's conversation with someone as I walk close to the living room. I only saw Katy facing someone and she was sitting in the coffee table. I didn't recognize who the vistor was until I saw his face. It was John. John Mayer, Katy's boyfriend. Oh how could I forget about their relationship.

I somehow trust John but I hope he doesn't break Katy's heart. She's real happy with him and their relationship is serious. I'm just happy for Katy and I always want the best for her. It pains me when I see her having troubles and being depressed.

I opened the living room door quietly not to disturb Katy and John's conversation but before I was able to close the door once again, I saw Katy staring at me with a smile on her face.

"Good morning, princess!" Katy said whilst standing up to hug me tightly, I hugged her back. I just love it when me and Katy hug, it makes me feel a lot better and makes my day complete. "Good morning, Katy " I replied to her whilst hugging her. I saw John and he was staring at me and Katy with a little bit of smile in his face.

"Babes, I want you to meet someone. This is John Mayer, he's my boyfriend " Katy said to me cheerfully. "Hi John, I'm Hally. It's great to meet you" I said to John while smiling and waving to him.

"Hi Hally! It's great to see ya too. Katy's told me so much about you " he said to me happily and with delight.

Katy put her hand on my back and she sat on the chair. She held my waist and put me onto her lap. I was just staring at John with a smile on my face. I didn't hate him or anything. I don't 100% trust him just yet, but he's fine for me.
