Jimi took a while to digest their request and then burst into a laughter
This has to be a joke but their straight face says otherwise

He can't choose Diana over his friends obviously but he is not going to throw away something he had only started building because his friends are insecure

Diana was walking back into the hall at first he thought it was just his imagination but she was really here walking in like a queen just in time to remind him just how much she's worth and how important she is to him

He met her half way and stop her

"oh Diana there you.have been looking for you. I need to introduce you to my friends"

He grabbed her hand without waiting for her to respond and was leading her to the far left angle of the hall

"You can imagine how strange it is that my friends don't know you and you don't know anyone. Anyways am going to fix this now"

"Jimi pls am really not in the mood for fake smiles and tacky compliments" she whined

"They are not tacky besides they are really cool, some of them you've already met"

"Then why am I meeting them again"

"Because it's a party and they are wondering who I came here with"

"I understand you don't want to be forced to introduce yourself but my friends are begining to wonder who I spend all my time with and they want to know how you manage to pull that off"

"I think you should handle that yourself Jimi." Diana answered frustrated

"You know I would but the whole point is that they meet you and get acquainted with my buddies"

"And I just said No. Why are you insisting"
She turned away from him and walk back to her table

Bj and the guys were watching the little drama between Jimi and his girlfriend unfold,he couldn't even come back to meet them after she literally walked out on him

Bj was convinced that this Union was definitely up to no good and whatever game jimi is playing has caught up with him and this girl is just playing him like kite

This sick excuse of a relationship must come to an end and the old jimi Benson has to be revived but the night was still young, anything can happen

The party had gradually moved from the elderly region to youthful vibes, gone were the band players and slow dancers and juju music . The DJ took over and The mood changed immediately to modern beats and sweaty dances.

Philip and Martha were enjoying the song and dancing along with it, at least they seem to be enjoying themselves unlike Diana. She had never really been a party person, she gets easily bored and now it was way worse.

First it was that shameless girl then jimi trying to brand her off like a trophy.
