SHE BENT ME

Denial or not?

It's 9:05 pm and we finally arrived in Seoul.

I asked Rosé to accompany me to Nini's house and she agreed.
Good thing, Rosé took her car with her since she just parked it at Seoul International Airport.

Upon our arrival at Nini's house, I get off the car and rang the doorbell.

I pressed it thrice already but there's no answer.

"She's not home?" Rosé asked while she's in her car waiting for me.

"I don't know. Maybe she's asleep?" I said while scratching my head.

A minute later, a person approached us and opened the gate.

It's Nana, Nini's nanny.

"Hey, Nana!!" I greeted her with a smile.

"Hi, Lisa! It's you! Aigoo! What did you do to yourself? Anyway, I'm glad you're back and fine!" she hugged me and I returned the hug and pulled right away. "What brought you here?"

"I'm wondering if Jennie is here? I need to talk to her about something." I said directly.

"Hmm. She's not here. She went out. Why don't you call her?" She said.

"Uhm. I did but..." I didn't continue what I said. Even if I call her number she won't answer.

"Let me try to call her, Lisa." Rosé suggested and she immediately dialed Nini's number.

"Okay, just ask her where she is but tell her I'm not with you, please?" I quickly said to Rosé, it's almost like rapping.

'What?' Rosé mouthed.

Will she answer? I hope she will.

"Hey, Jennie! I just got back from Thailand. I'm wondering where you are right now?" Rosé asked and looked at me, giving me a thumbs up.

Thank you for answering somebody else's call and thank you for not answering mine, Nini.

What's her problem? Is it because she's embarrassed by what she did? Or what we did?

"Uhm... No. We are not together. She went home right away." Rosé said while eyeing me.

I think Nini asked if I'm with Rosé right now.

"Yeah! I'd like to hang out. Just send me your location." Rosé said trying to sound cheerful on the phone.

"Okay. See you! Bye!"

The call ended and Rosé shook her head while squinting her eyes at me.

"What did you do, Lisa Manoban? Why does it seem like she's avoiding you?" Rosé said. Sometimes, Rosé is amazing. She's quick-witted.

"We have the same question, chipmunk! Just take me to her, please? I really need to talk to her about something." I said while getting in Rosé's car.

We waved goodbye to Nana and she did the same.

"What's that something?" Rosé asked again, she's so persistent.

"Just drive, chipmunk." I exclaimed.

"Geez. Okay, your majesty," she smirked.

Rosé parked her car inside this noisy bar.

So this is where you are, Nini. Partying huh? Not so you.

The bar is small compared to the one where 5 of us went into after the soft opening of Blink Cafe.

I am not familiar with the place, there are lots of people in the hallway kissing like there's no tomorrow. I can smell the sweaty bodies dancing on the dance floor. The only source of lights in this bar are the disco lights, it's surfacing in the bar.
