Jennie threw the bouquet on my chest.

Ouch, Nini. That hurts. Why on my chest?

She walked away from us leaving us confused with her reaction.

Now she's mad at me.

"Chase her," Jisoo said loudly.

What could have triggered her to get mad? Is she offended when I said that she's not my type?

Nope, I'm too delusional. I told you, Lili, you don't stand a chance with her.

To that so-called," C", whoever you are don't you dare make a fool of Nini.

I picked the poor bouquet on the floor and immediately rushed outside. Nini already started her car engine and accelerated, I tried to chase it but she didn't stop.

Damn it.

I want to chase her but I don't have a frickin' car.

Now, it seems like having a car is important now in situations like this.

I went back to the cafe.

"She already left," I told them. I reached for my phone in my pocket and dialed Jennie's (Nini) number.

Damn, it's not ringing.

I tried calling it again, still, she can't be reached.

"You're screwed. You ruined her moment with her secret admirer." Nayeon rolled her eyes.

"Nah, I think it wasn't because of that." Jisoo pursed her lips.

"What would it be?" Nayeon furrowed her brows and squinted her eyes at Jisoo.

"I don't want to say, it's too early to conclude," Jisoo said leaving us confused.

I pursed my lips and thinking about how to make it up to Nini. Nayeon is right, I just ruined her special moment with her secret admirer. I shouldn't have done that.

That's the reason why she's mad at me.

To make myself clear and honest, I'm really worried about this secret admirer of hers. What if it's not really what she thinks it is because I think of it the other way? Why don't I feel good about this?

I better stop on these thoughts and do something to pacify Nini.

"Nayeon. Since you know Jennie since childhood, what can I do to make her forgive me?" I asked Nayeon directly to get tips. I only know how to make Nini happy when she's sad but I don't know what to do when she's mad at me. This is the first time she gets mad at me for real.

"Hmm. When she's sad, ice cream can cheer her up," she sipped on her hot chocolate.

Girl, I know.

"When she's mad, you just have to say you're sorry. I'm not quite sure, Jen doesn't usually get mad and when she does she forgives easily. I think you have to give her time." she said. I'm not convinced. I can't just let time forgive me for my selfishness earlier.

I need to find her.

I remember when we lived together and talked about a lot of things. She usually goes to a park to calm her mind when she's mad and not in the mood.

Which park is it again?

Hmmm.

A-huh!

"I think I know where to find her. I can't let time do the reconciliation, Nayeon." I said and asked Jisoo if I can borrow her car. She lend me her car key and rushed to the parking area.
