3rd Person's POV

A gust of wind flew by peacefully, leaves rustled around as birds sing with beautiful melodies, under the sunlight there stood an elegant elf playing with creatures. "Oh how adorable all of you are!" They said in pure joy "I wish days like these could stay forever... But thus, happiness wouldn't feel as nice if sorrow and sadness hadn't existed" they said with a small smile on their face as they patted a squirrel. Dark, thunder-like could started forming, the elf sighed, "Ah I guess this is where we will part ways little ones" They said, sorrow filling their voice. The creatures run to the safety of their homes

The elf gazed at the stormy sky ,"Guess I should seek shelter too.." The elf walked as fast as they could and finally, they found a decently big cave. "This should do" They said to themselves as they stepped into the cave.

*bloop.*

Water drops could be heard from not too deep into the cave, the elf felt a small suspicion that another being was watching them. They took out a dagger and asked "Is there someone there? If so show yourself!" A slithering sound answered, 'A Lamia...? They're relatively kind and non violent.. unless one comes into their territory' They thought to themselves as they slowly backed away, "I apologize for the intrusion, I was not aware that this was your territory, I will be lea-" "No no no- please don't leave- It's fine, you can stay here as long as you'd like! It's very lonely..." The Lamia begged, with the pleading sorrows, the elf could possibly not leave the woeful creature alone, they sighed "Alright, but please do not try to murder me." They said, putting their dagger into their uh- totally existing pocket :]

"O-okay! I'll try my best!" they said, slithering closer to the elf, showing their physical self. They had a shiny tail that was in a beautiful shade of purple, the Lamia was quite tall, most likely stood around 5'7 or 5'9. "Oh my, I've never seen such a big Lamia before, your scales are so beautiful" The elf complimented, mesmerized. "Thank you! What's your name human?" The Lamia asked, "O-oh I'm not a human, I'm an elf! and my name is Y/n, nice to meet you- uh-"

"Cross!" the Lamia shouted happily, "Cross... what a beautiful name!" Y/n smiled which causes Cross to blush a bit "T-thank y-you Y/n!" He said, flustered as fuck [what a simp lmao]. A thunderbolt struck down a tree as it fell down and closed the cave entrance.

"Eep!" Y/n shouted in suprise "What the- Shi-....ittttt—" They cursed out, "what's wrong Y/n?" Cross asked, curious. "We're gonna be stuck here for a while" Y/n sighed, Cross just went to slither around Y/n "W-woah there– what are you trying to do-?!" Y/n asked, slightly in fear "I'm just cuddling you! You seemed down :c" He replied, holding Y/n gently. "O-oh... Thanks Crossy" Y/n replied and patted the purple Lamia
