I turn over to my alarm, two o'clock in the morning.
I threw the duvet from over me and made my way to Harry's bed.
"Harry?" I whisper in his direction.
No answer.
I made my way out and into the kitchen, when I walked through the kitchen door, I almost jumped out of my skin.
"Ah!!" I screamed clutching my chest.
"Jess! Sorry!" I heard Niall whisper yell at me.
"Horan why are you up so late?"
"I could ask you the same thing. Can't sleep. How about You?"
"Something like that. Why were the lights off?" I ask going over to the fridge. I opened it, only finding an apple. Fruit'll do for now.
I went to the sink and rinsed it off.
I took a bite and sat next to Niall.
"What's wrong Jess?"
Well that wasn't random at all.
"What do you mean Niall?" I ask taking another bite of my apple.
"You've been waking up screaming for a while. Ever since we've been kidnapped."
I nodded, now understanding that he wanted to know what I'd been dreaming about.
"I dunno. I dream, about that night. Different parts.."
"Like the first time you woke up and we asked why?"
I nodded.
"What were you dreaming about just now?" He asks taking a bite of my apple.
"Paul. Don't touch my apple." I reply swatting his hand away.
"Paul?!"
"I found him in a Garage. He was... Weak and..." I felt a lump rise in my throat..
"What?" he asks encouraging me to go on.
"dying." I whispered softly.
"What was he saying?"
"He told me to deliver messages to you guys, his wife, and Simon."
"Simon?" He questioned.
"yeah. He said to tell him he was sorry and that he let him down because he didn't do his job, to protect you." I felt a tear roll down my cheek. It's a good thing it was still dark.
"Jess, are you crying?"
I sniffled,"no."
"Yes you are, come here." He said wrapping his arms around me.
It was nice talking to someone who would listen. Yes, he questioned me... But at least he didn't judge me.
