Radhika's POV.

I was currently getting ready to go shopping with di. Yesterday was so fun with di. I really needed a girls night. Actually most of my friends live in Mumbai and very few in Pune.
I used to live in Mumbai and grew up there and then came to Pune for studies and then got a Job here as well. By profession I am a Professor of Accounts in College.

I started my search mission in my cupboard to choose what to wear. You know every girl's biggest problem, we have so many clothes but can never decide what to wear. I then came across my full white chikankari suite. Chalo kapde to fix. (Okay so clothes are fixed) Now with this would go my Oxidised jhumkas and some bangles. Perfect!
I decided to leave my long black hair open. I usually keep it open because I am too lazy to do any hairstyle.

Many people say I dress old fashioned or typical 'anuty type'

Many people say I dress old fashioned or typical 'anuty type'. In Fact people actually call me Aunty occasionally. But I choose comfort and I really feel comfortable in Indian dresses. I wear what I love and others can just close their eyes for all that I care. I guess it mostly comes with my profession. As a professor I like to dress decent all the time. You never know kaha se konsa student mil jaye. (You never know where would you meet a student). It's a really small world.

By the way abhi tak to aab jaan hi chuke honge but phir bhi bata deti hu, I love talking. (By the way till now you guys would have guessed still I will tell you. I love talking) Like I can be those silent introvert types but that's a rare occasion.

While I was wearing my sandal and locking my door my thoughts went back to what di said yesterday. If I was a teenage Radhika I wouldn't have missed a chance to meet cricketers but as I grew up it changed. I did have a crush on Devdutt like di said but now it has subsided greatly. Now I have my own little world in which I am happy. I don't know whether I want to meet or not.

I decided to go to the temple near my house before going to Di. I entered the temple and joined my hands in front of the Ganpati Bappa Idol and closed my eyes. I am a person who believes in God and also thinks there is a certain power who controls everything in this world and takes care of everyone. Also for me Mandir (temple) is the most peaceful place. It gives me a certain peace and positivity. If I am angry, sad or happy I always come to Mandir.

I opened my eyes and then I saw Pandit ji. I went towards him and said "Kese ho Pandit ji?" (How are you, Mr. Priest?) He turned around to look at me and smiled warmly "Are Radhika beta tum. Me to thik hu. Tum kesi ho?" (Oh Radhika my child you. I am good what about you?) He asked and gave me some prashad (god's offerings served to people). I took the prashad and wrapped it in a paper and kept it in my bag. "Me thik hu Pandit ji abhi di ke sath shopping pe jaa rahi hu. Chalo chalti hu." (I am good Mr. Priest. Now I am going shopping with my sister. Will take your Leave.) I said this and bent down to take his ashirwad.

"Aaj ka tere din shubh jaye." (May your day go well)

I stood up straight and asked him a bit surprised "Ashirwad me variation Pandit ji. Paar aaj to kuch special nahi he." (Oh Variation in blessings Mr. Priest. But there's nothing special today.)
