Prologue

In a part of Mumbai which is always decorated by the beautiful city lights a girl was getting ready.

She tightened her lehenga, pinned up her dupatta, let her long straight black hair but wavy towards the end open, applied kajal to her black talktevie eyes, and wore her favourite jhumka.

Someone knocked on her door "Come on yaa Radhika get ready faster we are getting late."

Radhika replied "Yaa coming just 5 more minutes" she Adjusted her bindi and looked at herself in the mirror. She smiled and gave a flying kiss to the reflection. She giggled at her silliness and opened her door. "I am ready let's go to her reception." Taking the keys and leaving for the main door.

Radhika was going to her college friend's wedding with another friend.

On the other hand in the very busy city of Banglore someone else was also getting ready.

He buttoned up his crisp white shirt and tucked inside his black trousers, wore his watch, styled up his hair perfectly and applied his favourite perfume. He wore a black blazer and checked himself before leaving. He came out of his room and went towards the kitchen

"Amma I am going to that official dinner I told you about yesterday."

"Okay. Have fun Dev!" Said his mother. Dev smiled at her and took his keys and left for his KACA official Dinner party.

Radhika reached the venue with her friend and said "See I told you we would be on time" "Ya Ya. Chalo let's go to the couple and congratulate them." Said her friend. She nodded and they went towards the couple.

"Congratulations to both of you! May you live a happy life." Radhika said giving them the gift

"Yes we would if your friend allowed me too" said the groom, giving a teasing look to his newly wedded wife.

"Don't worry jiju" she looked at her friend and said "You have got a gem, I can guarantee that." And again looked at the groom "Take care of her and live a happy life." The groom smiled and said "I would and Thank you for coming." Radhika smiled at both of them and got off the stage. Later she and her friend went to have their dinner.

On the other side Devdutt came to the place where the dinner was arranged and smiled at everyone he met and started exchanging pleasantries. After some time he made a beeline towards Rahul Dravid and Vijeta Pendharkar. As soon as they spotted Devdutt they smiled and waved "Hey Dev so glad you came how are you" giving him a hug. "I am good bhai how are you both" "We are as good as always" said Vijeta. After having a brief conversation with them, he went towards his gang.

Radhika was eating with her friend when another few friends came to her table. "Hey Radhika how are you" Radhika stood up and hugged them and said "Hey long time ya and I am all good" All of them sat and started conversing with each other when one of her friends asked Radhika "So Radhika still single? When are you getting married?" Radhika just smiled and said "Yea I still haven't found anyone so..." "You should try some matrimonial sites or do you want me to set you up with someone I can totally do that.'' Said another friend excitedly. "No guys I am fine it's just dating is not my cup of tea like I won't go out with a person who would be interested in me for just a few months and then we both will bore each other. I want something firm. I don't know whether I would ever find someone but currently I am happy where I am. I don't think I want one right now" said Radhika convincing others and somewhere herself as well because she did not say the real reason out loud but in her mind she did 'I am just too unlucky to find true love. I don't consider myself good enough and I definitely don't want to be a baggage for anyone.' She sighed and looked at the happy couple on the stage. She wished for their happiness as she wondered whether she would be able to find any?

Devdutt was chatting with his teammates when Shubh came "Hey Dev kese ho?" Giving him a bro hug "Yea I am all good how are you and finally bata de yaar when is the wedding?" Asked Dev. Shubh chuckled and said "It's yet to be decided but it would mostly be next year when we have no series or anything". Then the other team mate said "Congratulations man! By the way tera to hogaya aab iska kya?" Looking at Dev. Dev just rolled his eyes saying "Hogaye sab shuru" "Are of course even we want a bhabhi to whom we would complain about you" said the team mate laughing. Shubh laughed with them but then asked Dev seriously "But on a serious note Dev kab tak bhagoge?" Dev looked at all of them and said " I am not running away. It's just that everyone has their own definition for it which is different and I don't know mine yet. I am keeping an open mind about it but what I said before is true. I don't know about that feeling and never experienced it. I have just been focused on Cricket and never really given a serious thought about it. I would really like to have someone by my side like you guys who have a strong pillar with love and respect for each other but I have never really found one and what if I did find and lost it or choose a wrong one. That makes it complicated. But I am sure when the right person walks in I will get it." Everybody nodded at him and left the topic there and enjoyed their time there.

They both enjoyed their time with their friends but constantly had a side thought of their conversation they had with their friends. As the night passed on they somehow came below the sky at same time as they both wanted some me time. They both were looking at the sky and asked

Is there a thing called Love and would I ever be lucky enough to have it?
