Back to Mia's pov

I went in the house searching for Chase, and when I walked into this game room place I saw him sitting on the couch on his phone. "Hey C" I said with a smile walking towards him. "Hi" he answered with a sniff looking down. I Tried to see cause it looked and sounded like he had been crying. "Chase are you okay??" I said sitting down next to him. "Why aren't you outside with Jaden" I was confused. "Wait what does Jaden have to do with anything?" "Nothing, nevermind forget what I said Mia." Mia, did he just call me on my name? Chase never speak to me on my name. Since we were little he has always called me M, I have actually never heard him call me on my name in my life before. "Chase okay wait now I'm really worried. Since when have you spoke to me using my name." He didn't say anything back. I was sad, this hurt me. What did I do wrong. He has never acted like this before. I went back outside and I see some of the people packing their stuff ready to leave. I looked at the time seeing it was already 1am. I didn't see Jaden so I went over to Josh asking him if we could go back. He saw I was upset and got his stuff. "You okay?" He asked. I just nodded letting him know that I'm actually not. We walked to the car and as soon as we climbed in he just looked at me. "Whats wrong Mia I thought you were happy because of you and Jaden?" "I am believe me I am but uhm as we were "busy" Chase walked in and just stared at me and walked out and then when I went to him he called me on my name and basically ignored me." I looked down and was feeling really sad. I know Josh and all of the boys don't really like Chase because of drama that went down between all of them, this is why I didn't really want to tell him. Josh looked away. "Fucking shithead" he mumbled. "Josh!" "I'm sorry" "I know you guys don't like him but he is my best friend" "I thought I was" Josh said acting offended. "Oh my gosh you are dumb" I started to laugh. "There is that laugh. Don't let him take it away from you." We started to drive home and when we stopped I thanked Josh, gave him a hug and ran upstairs to my room. I went in took a shower and got into my pjs. It was just about before 2am and I decided to get in my bed and to text Chase.

M-Mia

M - can we talk?
C - ya whatever
M - okay no you clearly don't want to so can we get together tomorrow maybe please?
C - ok

I actually legit started to cry. I laid there holding a pillow and just sobbed. Why was he acting like this. What did I do. I guess I did not realize how hard I was crying because I didn't even hear my door open. Josh came in and I looked at him with my eyes still crying. He was shirtless since he sleeps without one all the time and climbed in next to me holding me. Not one of us said anything. I put my face on his chest and just cried. He held me tight and just played with my hair. Eventually I fell asleep.

Jadens pov
After coming home after the party I wondered where Mia was since I didn't see her again. I went upstairs and as I walked past her door I decided to knock. No one answered so I opened the door just a little bit to see her in Josh's arms. I know she said that they are best friends but it didn't feel good seeing them together like that. I guess I stood there longer than I thought because Josh opened his eyes. "Is everything okay?" He asked. I stood there trying not to clench my fist when I saw his arms around her. "Yeah, why are you with her?" "She cried so I just comforted her" "Okay". I went outside trying not to think about it to much and to just go to sleep. I laid in my bed for about 1 hour when I really could not close my eyes. My thoughts were taking over. I went downstairs to the kitchen and saw Bryce. "Hey man what are you doing up" he asked. "Nah man I can't sleep, my thoughts are driving me insane". "Whats going on?" It felt kind of wrong to talk to Mia's brother about all of this but I needed to get it of my chest. "Man your sister is amazing but shit I don't know what to do, I mean we kissed tonight and-" he cut me off "you didn't do it right?" He asked looking with a death stare. "No no don't worry about that" "oh okay, just know I will personally break your bones if you sleep with her or hurt her" "yeah yeah I know but thats not the point. We were anyway interrupted by dumbass Chase " I said clearing my throat. "Anyway I thought it was great what happened and then she went into the house afterwards I guess looking for somehing because she was searching. And when she came out she was so sad and upset and I saw her and Josh driving off. And now when I walked into her room I saw her in Josh's arms on his bear chest sleeping and his arms around her waist and in her hair." "Shit bro" he replied. "Jae if I were you I wouldn't be too worried I mean Josh loves her and is so protective over her, he would never hurt her but also I think he knows you two like yeah idk so I don't think he will come in between." "Why was she so sad then?" "Well Josh talked to me after the party when we were here and he said that Chase was ignoring her after he saw you two and that upset her." "Oh okay but I thought we all didn't like him?" "Oh believe me, we dont..." Bryce said with anger in his voice
