"STAY ALIVE!" Schwoz exclaims, performing chest compressions.
There's a bit of a problem going on here in Swellview. Suddenly all the trees are dying. I are freaking out. Henry, Charlotte, and I are answering calls about the trees. Ava, Jasper, and, Piper are out trying to save more trees. Ray is out somewhere. The news is crying about it.
Schwoz gestures us over to the tree.
"We lost another one," Schwoz says.
I cry softly into my hands. Henry hugs me and kisses my lips.
"I'll always remember you," Schwoz says and Charlotte rubs his back.
Ava, Piper, and Jasper barge in with another tree.
"We don't know if this ones going to last," Jasper says.
"It lost all of its sap," Ava says.
"I can tell this ones a fighter," Piper smiles.
"Yes! Stay strong tree!" Ava says.
"Don't get your hopes up babe and rookie," Jasper says, pecking Avas lips and walking to Schwoz.
"Come on tree!! Stay alive!" I cheer as Henry puts a hand on my shoulder.
"I have a plan to make it stay alive! I'm going to ask the tree how it feels," Schwoz explains.
Henry, Jasper, Ava, Piper, Charlotte, give each other a look.
(The names are in order of what they're saying. Henry starts and Charlotte's line ends)
"Cool!"
"Makes sense!"
"Good idea!"
"Smart!"
"Got it!"
I look at them confused.
"What?" I say, raising an eyebrow.
Henry walks over to me and hugs me close to his chest.
"This horn can turn vibrations into speech," Schwoz explains.
"That's like-" Piper pauses and looks at Henry and I confused. I'm chasing him around the room because he stole my cookie.
"GIVE ME BACK MEH COOKIE!!" I giggle, chasing after Henry.
"NO ITS MEH COOKIE!!" Henry says.
Piper stops me from running while Jasper does the same to Henry. I decide to split the sugar cookie in half.
"Welcome Rookie," Schwoz says.
"Why does-"
We all jump up as the tree sounds up. I jump into Henry's arms, scared. Piper hugs Charlotte, scared. Jasper holds Ava back. We all breathe heavily.
"I....can't......feel......my......roots!" The tree says.
I burry my head on the side of Henry's chest.
"Tell us what happened to you," Schwoz says.
Jasper sits on the couch with Ava in his arms.
"Moooo——-"
"He's gone...." Schwoz says.
"No! Stay strong tree!" Piper says and Charlotte puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Shh it's ok——" Charlotte pauses when Piper hugs her.
"Did he mean monsters or—-" Jasper gets cut of when the tree jumps up.
