rain droplets dropped down onto the streets painting the town with itself. the male hadn't brought an umbrella and ended up wandering around mindlessly. he knew that he'd definitely get sick from staying out in the rain but his mind was too clouded to care

he was sick of it all, what was the point anymore. a bad luck charm, that's all he's been so far. he's managed to cause so much pain to the people he trusted

his trust issues had skyrocketed beyond his vision to the point where anything would cause him to become sick to the stomach. even the thought of it made his stomach turn

"hey! the rain is becoming heavier it's best for you to come inside and wait it out!" an older lady called out to him waving him to come to her shop

gulping down his current feelings he headed over to the shop where he was dripping under the shelter, "oh dear, let me get you a towel hun." she opened the door and let the two of them in

it was a cozy place that was much more heated than the outside's current climate. she handed him a towel to dry off and directed him to the fireplace surrounded by seating areas and hidden behind large bookshelves

"stay here till the rain calms a bit down. we wouldn't want anyone to be walking through this type of weather without an umbrella" she chuckled going back to her counter. shaking slightly from the change of temperature he sat at one of the seats beside the fireplace

the heat and the crackling noises gave him a moment of peace. huffing out some air he closed his eyes, envisioning the sickening gaze of the female

shivering at the thought of it he decided to advert his thoughts to something else. what more can he do.. something doesn't feel right
