When my eyes open, I sit up in the bed running my fingers through my hair as I remember last night. My mind goes back to the way Shane held me, kissed me, the way he felt inside of me—How amazing he made me feel. Last night was completely unforgettable... My eyes glance around the room to see that I am alone, I wonder where he went.

After I get dressed, I decide on going to find him. As I make my way out of the bedroom I don't see Shane in the rest of the house. Instead, I find him outside talking on the radio. I walk toward the car and our eyes meet for a second before he goes back to talking on the radio. He gets out of the car and closes the door behind him as he approaches me.

"Hey." Shane greets before pulling me in for a tight hug, I smile against him. He smells so good, I can't get over it.

"Any luck?" I ask hopefully. Our hug breaks to my disappointment, he sighs and shakes his head.

"No, but I'm hoping... How did you sleep?" He asks me as he intertwines our fingers. He gives my hand a gentle squeeze, I gaze up at him looking into his caring brown eyes.

"I slept great. How did you sleep?" I reply. Shane leans down to gently peck my lips.

"Perfect."

I begin chopping up the carrots from the garden in the back into thin sticks. Shane prepares one of the frog legs to be eaten, I glance over at him as he laughs musically. He must have noticed my terrified expression; I've never been a very adventurous eater when it comes to trying new foods. I like chicken and ham, but frog legs is a brand new food to me, but I realize I can't exactly be picky during these days now.

"C'mon you haven't even tried them yet, you don't even know if you really like them or not" He states as he turns on a burner. I'm so glad it still works.

"No, but still. What if I end up not liking it?" I respond as I take a bite of a carrot slice. If. I don't like it, I guess I could just eat boiled carrots and cucumber slices tonight.

"But what if you end up loving it?" He says. Shane quickly tosses a frog leg onto the pan, I give him a shy smile as I watch him cook the new food. Maybe he's right, I could end up loving it. He's pretty optimistic about things, and I really love that about him.

After we finish eating dinner I help Shane clean up the kitchen as we both go down the hallway, I turn around to face him.

"I'm going to take a shower." I tell him, and he nods his head.

"I'll be here." He responds. Shane gives me a charming smile before turning and walking away to the bedroom.

When I turn the shower on and strip myself of my clothes, I get in the shower to feel the water against my skin—Thankfully it wasn't very cold. As I wash the conditioner out of my hair I turn off the shower nozzle and wrap a towel around my body before drying off and getting dressed. I make my way into the living room where I see Shane who's going through the bookshelf against the wall. He turns to face me and gives me a tender expression as our eyes meet, I feel the same butterflies in my stomach feeling as I approach him.
