"Hello? Ate?" (Translation: Ate {Ah-teh} is a word used for older sisters and older female cousins, or just elder females in general).

"Amethyst! Nasaan ka ba?" (Translation: Amethyst! Where are you?)

"Ate.. I left."

"Bakit?" (Translation: Why?)

"Hindi ko na kaya, ate.. Ang sakit." (Translation: I can't take it anymore/I can't handle it. It hurts.)

"Alam ko. You broke us all." (Translation: I know)

"I didn't mean to hurt anyone.. I just.. I want to move on, Ate. I want to focus on everything else and try to be happy again."

"What about Tom? Akala ko mahal mo siya. Bakit mo iniwan?" (Translation: I thought you love him. Why did you leave him?)

"Kasi nasasaktan ko siya. Oo, mahal na mahal ko siya. Sobrang mahal. (Translation: Because I'm hurting him. Yes, I love him so much. A lot.) I just had to. I want him to move on, Ate. Gusto ko siyang maging masaya sa buhay niya." (Translation: I want him to be happy with his life.)

"You're his happiness, Amethyst! You're his missing piece. His other half. Now without you, he's broken. Do you realize that?"

"I know, okay? I know. Just please.. Trust me on this."

"Fine... Nasaan ka ba?" (Translation: Where are you?)

"I'm in Manila. I just landed a few minutes ago."

"Why aren't you answering any of Raven's texts?"

"No need. I can't talk to anyone right now. Maybe except you, Arden, or Peyton. And Harrison, and Jake."

"Oh.. Okay."

"I'm sorry Ate. But I'm doing this for a reason. I'm gonna find kuya and mama." (Translation: Kuya is a word used for older brothers and cousins, or elder males in general).

"Okay. That's good. I'll see you soon, actually. I'm leaving for Manila next week."

"Okay po, Ate. Just please don't tell anyone where I am, okay?"

"I promise. Now, you better get somewhere safe for the day. Or if you can, try to find Trey and or mama."

"Okay. Bye, Ate. Talk to you later. Love you."

{smiles} "Mahal din kita, Amethyst. Bye."

WALKING AROUND MANILA with bags was stressful. Very stressful. Amethyst glanced around, smiling at a few people who smiled at her first. It's a bit new for her to be in the Philippines, but so far, it's been great. A few of the nice people helped her around Manila a little bit, and there were some fans who recognized her. She arrived at a bench, and sat down tiredly.

She placed her bags on the spot next to her, and Amethyst glanced around at her surroundings. She needed to find her half brother Trey and her mother, but who in Manila could she trust? She's never been here before, and she doesn't know anyone at all. All of a sudden, a boy her age — well, probably only a couple of years older than her — walked by her, and she didn't hesitate to stand up. "Excuse me po?"

The guy turned around, and his eyes widened. "Amethyst Claire?" "You know who I am?" Amethyst asked, shocked evident on her face, and the guy nodded. "Yeah. Oh my god, is this really you? Ang sobrang ganda mo." Before Amethyst could reply and react, the guy walked closer and pulled her in a tight embrace. It took Amethyst by surprised indeed, but she just hugged him back anyway. "Um.. Who are you? If you don't mind me asking."

The guy suddenly pulled away, and smiled warmly at Amethyst.

"I'm Trey. Your older brother."
