"Amethyst? Please, open the door." Arden begged as she repeatedly knocked on Amethyst's bedroom door. Still no answer. "Maybe we should give her some space." Charlie stated sadly, but Arden shakes her head. "We need to keep an eye on her. Lord knows what she'll do." "True.. But, we've been knocking on her door for twenty minutes now. She hasn't said a word." Charlie pointed out, and Arden sighed before she nodded. "That's also true. Well.. Stay here. I'll be right back." Arden walked away from Charlie and traveled down the stairs. She then opened the drawers and took out a spare key. She jogged up the stairs and inserted the key into the keyhole of Amethyst's bedroom door. As soon as Arden was able to unlock and open the door, the two women found Amethyst lying on her bed, her back facing them.
"Amethyst?" Arden said quietly as she enters the room, but Amethyst didn't move. Sniffles were all that came out of the girl, and Charlie lets out a sigh of relief. She was still alive. "Amethyst.. I know you're angry with us. You have every right to be. We're so sorry that we kept something like this from you. We wanted you to live a happy life. We didn't want you to find out about everything, and you'd have to deal with all of the outcomes. However, you still grew up with lies. An apology won't fix anything, but we aren't going anywhere. We are all here for you, even if you don't need us." Amethyst sniffled once again and slowly turned to look at the two older women over her shoulder. "Can you guys just please leave? I'm not gonna do anything, I promise." Charlie's heart sank at her words, but she nodded her head anyway. "Okay, anything for you." Amethyst then turned back around, and Arden quietly left her room, Charlie following closely behind her. "We tried." Arden mumbled as she softly shuts Amethyst's bedroom door, and Charlie sighed in defeat. "We're not gonna give up though."

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry!"
"You're too adorable. Oh my god."
"Feel any better yet?"
"A bit, yes. But I'll feel even more better when you sleep over."
