Mahia knocked on the door and entered inside the room. Mr Salah moved away the newspaper from his face and looked towards his daughter then smiled. Mahia smiled back then walked inside. She stopped in front of his bed then place his food on the side table and sat down on the bed. It has been a week since Mr Salah was back to home.

'Baba, How are you feeling now?' Mahia asked and Mr Salah closed away the newspaper and put it away.

'Better.' Mr Salah answered and Mahia smiled

'Okay, then have your breakfast.' Mahia said and placed his food in front of him while he smiled and thank her.

'Have Adam gone to work?' Mr Salah asked and she nodded her head

'Yes, he have.' Mahia answered and Mr Salah nodded his head in understanding then silence took place between them while he was eating.

'Who is that other girl?' Mr Salah asked the question which had been bothering him and Mahia looked towards her father.

'She is Leila.' Mahia answered

'I know her name but I am asking why she is here?' Mr Salah asked and Mahia sighed.

'Adam bring her. He was working on a case. Someone killed her mother, her only family. She have nobody so he bought her here.' Mahia explained

'And you was fine with it?' Mr Salah asked. She looked towards him then sighed again

'I was not. We have really big fight about it already.' Mahia answered truthfully

'Just the way I imagine my daughter to be.' Mr Salah said jokingly and Mahia smiled

'Baba please.' Mahia said and Mr Salah started laughing

'Well I know your obsession towards Adam.' Mr Salah said and they both started smiling.

'But still don't she should go. I mean that is not her home? Why she is here?' Mr Salah asked coming back to topic and this time seriously while Mahia looked towards him then sighed

'I don't know. I did not like it at start either but Leila is a good girl.' Mahia said

'I am not saying she is a bad person it's just Adam is man here and I don't want anyone ruining my daughter's married life. I am just worried for you.' Mr Salah said concerned and Mahia sighed then smiled to her father.

'I trust Adam Baba....I really trust him.' Mahia said while smiling while Mr Salah also smiled

'That is good to hear. You should trust him but I will still talk to him about Leila. I really like her and she seems really a good girl but still you should do something to secure her future as well. Home is best place for everyone. So she also want to go to her family as well.'Mr Salah said and Mahia nodded her head in understanding while Mr Salah went back to his food and Mahia just sat with him all silent and quite.

Mahia opened her room's door and entered inside then walked and tiredly sat down on it. She was just back from her school. She sighed then fell back down on the bed while closing her eyes. She stayed still for few seconds when her phone started ringing. She lazily moved her hand and picked it up and put it over her ears while her eyes were still closed.

'Hello.' Mahia said carelessly.

'Salam Mahia dear.' Someone said from other side and her eyes flew opened while she quickly sat down on the bed.

'Wasalam.' Mahia answered

'Did you recognise me?' She asked

'Yes, how are you grandmother?' Mahia said while recognising her and Adam's grandmother smiled on other line. That was first time she ever call her since five years ago when she told her about Adam's death.
