The story starts with a girl named Aurra, 5 years after witnessing her father's murder at the age of 12. Since then she's found hospitality after meeting her now best friend, Celosia, & her family in Vassia city. Right when her life felt like it was getting started again, the Deity known as the Sandman unsuspectingly attacks the city, & during it. This experience reinforces her drive to find her father's murderer & whoever's responsible for the attack, but what she gets in return is more than what she expected.
