The Blood Dagger Volume:1
For most of her life, eighteen year old Larna (or 'Lardo,' depending on who you ask) hasn't appreciated what's right in front of her. Like her childhood best friend-witty and adorkable Corinth Taylor. Corinth likes her for who she is and not because her only self-proclaimed talent includes polishing off two-half pound burgers in the span of five-minutes.
But for Larna, coming to the seemingly impossible revelation that her long time best friend might actually like her just might prove harder than trying to find her absentee father.
So years later, when Larna finds his hidden journal, she discovers her untapped potential for courage in order to track him down. Following the cryptic entries and trail of bread crumbs; she travels to a sleepy town in England.
Believing she's brave for traveling across the country on her own is one thing; surviving a family reunion with her father is another.
Larna is plunged into a world she never knew existed, one in which death is only the beginning; where vampires are not just stories and these creatures aren't just hunting each other, but her as well, and that's exactly what dear old dad wants.
*****Just a note before you start reading, my story does have minor language and some violence - I'd suggest PG 13****
