Maddy and Meredith are twins. They both love to climb, but due to their father's climbing incident on Mt. Everest, their parents order them to not do so (but they do it anyways). Their father had some injuries that he had not known of and now he is paralyzed from neck down. There is an operation which could save his life, but the cost of it is unaffordable, both the insurance and the family could not cover it. In this desperate situation of life and death, their mom tries to get a loan from the bank she works at. Unfortunately, her work status and the loopholes in her contract forbid her from getting a loan-also the Harderbach Financial president refuses to give her a loan. Then he is asked if he has a heart, Brisbane coldly responses "This is not an emtional issue Mrs. Phillips. A bank has no heart. It only has paper in a vault." This is the spark that gave the idea to both the twins to rob the bank and use it's money for the operation fees.

A year. Skeppy has been trapped down in this shitty little cage for a year. His muscles have atrophied from lack of movement, he barely even gets enough food. Some part of him wants to run for it the second Dream opens the door again, the other part of him simply wants to give up. All that he really wants, though, is to see the world again. To see *his* world again. OR: A hypothetical. What if c!Dream collected more things for the attachment vault? What if he collected some of these things early on? What if he went through with kidnapping Skeppy? This answers these questions as best it can. In actuality, I really just wanted to write a Skeppy Cage fic. Or, I mean, I did a couple of years ago? This has been sitting in google docs for like, years now. I started this not long after the finale actually happened, and I'm only now giving it an ending and posting it somewhere, so ... oops?

A bleak moment of true awareness.

We all dream of a place filled with peace and everything we desire, a utopian world. While it might seem perfect, it's doomed to fail at one point or another, no matter what you do. That type of world used to exist here in America. Before the bombs, a fortunate minority of the population made it in the vaults that shield us from outside dangers. Unfortunately that utopian world ended on October 23 at 9:26 am 2077, Bombs colored the sky in an orange color with radiation and ash for weeks on end, the radiation still lasts to this day and probably for 100s of years to come. We know one thing for sure: War. War never changes.

Btw, a small update. I'm creating this into a full-fledged universe called Infinity Blade Mercy. Okay? Cool. Bye! Warning: Memes. Lol-ing. Dying of laughter. And mostly, having a good time. YES. Now that they've spent way too much time in the Vault Of Tears, locked away together, they might as well turn over a new leaf, am I right? So, this idea popped into my head and was too genius to let it go to waste.
