Aliyah Tate has it all. Her life is seemingly perfect. She has good grades, a supportive family, and amazing friends. Her whole life has been planned out for her. That is until a failed class jeopardizes the changes of getting into her dream college. But when she's given an opportunity to fix her mistakes, she crosses paths with the last person she ever expected. Kayden Hughes has nothing. After growing up with abusive and neglectful parents, he's been in the foster care system for the past three years. He's gone his entire life taking hit after hit, never having any sense of stability. Every time he lets someone in, he ends up either losing them or getting hurt. He's on a completely opposite path. Yet somehow, he finds his life suddenly entangled with Aliyah's. She's determined to change his path for the better, while he's determined to not let anyone through his boundaries. But as they begin to grow closer and closer, it becomes obvious that only one of them will succeed.

Thank you to the people who have been reading and supporting us! We deeply appreciate it, and don't think that we forget about it. There's been a lot going on with the holidays and just life in general. Add that with immense writer's-block.. For a week after not posting, I guess it was mostly brainstorming. Neither of us could really put the thoughts together. We wanted the climax to be these huge and rich chapters. After not writing for awhile, it was hard to continue Towards the.. what I guess is the middle, the book really just turned into one person writing an entire chapter with just about none of the other's help or consent. To be completely honest, it is a 50/50 chance that we will continue this book. If we do, we'll be sure to let you know! Please don't get extremely attached if we don't. We both have some other fantastic completed books (some for younger readers as well :D) to read as well! Again, really sorry for not writing anymore on this book.
