The gift for her was still lying safe in my cupboard and the apology for her was still living inside the kernel of my heart. I know I won't find her. If I would find her then I too know that I would be a complete stranger to her. There was no point in Fortune will want us to bombard again. Who would take an interest to fulfil my wish to complete a silly story? Of course, no one. I know I could never find my Rag Doll...

A simple poem, it's my first ^^ Back then, when we were in our childhood but now somehow we lost it ..some lost it due to growing age ,some due to the circumstances ...A lot of reasons are there for losing our beautiful, cheerful childhood.. One day, as I was sitting, lost in thought about my upcoming birthday in February 2025, it suddenly hit me - I would be turning 18 the following year. In that moment, a wave of nostalgia for my lost childhood just washed over me. I wondered how much time had slipped away - time that could have been devoted to my hobbies, to the things I truly cherish. Did I ever pause to watch and realize what I truly loved, or was I just endlessly chasing academic goals, never truly stopping to connect with the things that made me happy? It made me wonder, how often do we overlook the importance of nurturing our passions in the chaos of our responsibilities? In those moments, a thought emerged - maybe it's essential to sometimes hit the pause button, to step back, and seek out our happy places.

At some moment in our lives, we realise that we have lost an important gem of our life which is childhood. I base this short story on that.
