Success isn't just about hard work; sometimes, it requires a little bit of the impossible. The Polymath's Fables is an anthology of modern fairy tales for those who believe that mastery of a craft is the truest form of magic.

These short stories are basically fables about a fox and some other animal he'd trick and gets away with it, but instead of a Fox these fables will be either about a Nestrian, a Grymp, or both Nestrian and Grymp messing with animals and getting away with it scott free. Although there will be more than just "The Fox" fables being parodied by a Nestrian and a Grymp.

Welcome to Fables, a collection of short tales featuring unused characters from SS, SSO, and more, as well as random creations of my own! Each story is narrated by the one and only Fable Steve, one of Origin's oldest creations! Some of these stories are Fable's own recreations of the original tales, if the originals could not be located. Some stories may also include some of his own little additions. For solace he escapes to 'the land next door' where practical skills and community is prized over all else. When his Pyramid land stands inverted schoolboy David seeks wisdom from his neighbours. Home From Home - is based on a true story about an eccentric old lady who turns vigilante, vandalising vehicles in the dead of night, to protect her quiet village from an ever-increasing problem of parked cars on an otherwise picturesque village road. Lokimischief - is a spine-chilling fable about the risks of talking (online) to strangers. A modern day Little Red Riding Hood. Beware.

I've decided to write a collection of short stories with moral lessons. You may call them fables or parables if you like. However, I will try to make them very descriptive, long, and colorful. That way, they won't be as simple or short as, say, Aesop's Fables. I hope you enjoy!
