This collection is a quartet of poems that play around the idea of the remains of pain, emotional discomfort, and the attempt to detach. Dallying around, mostly, on the idea of writing with no intentional themes and messages; writing where the poems take themselves. With that, the remains of the past are where the mind usually comes circling back-when there is something to look back upon; whenever there is less control, structure, and spontaneous urge, the mind ought to create meaning, in all honesty-quietly pulling from implicit memories.
