Naomi Mason
"I don't want to be here anymore." I groaned
I have been at the hospital for at least two days now doing nothing. I'M getting ready for my surgery tomorrow and then i'll be here for another day or so. Not fun. Randy right now is next to me on his phone. After practice he would come straight here and keep me company since Jake was working and Chelsea was busy doing something. He is better company anyway
"You have been telling me this since the first day you were check in here." He said without looking up from his phone
"yeah because I dont want to be here. I dont belong here, i'm pretty sure i'm fine." I said
"I'm pretty sure you're not," He said "You wouldnt be here."
I groaned again and Randy just laughed
"Whats wrong princess?" He finally looked at me
"I'm bored and I dont want to be here anymore, i hate hospitals." I huffed
"I got that." He laughed "There's nothing you can do babe, you will be out here in a few days."
"Make them go faster."
"I wish i had the power to do that sweetheart."
I smiled at him
He took my hand in his "You are going to get through this and i'll be by your side all the way."
"I know you will."
He smiled "Good. Now play me back in Trivia Crack."
I rolled my eyes at him
"No" I said
"Why not?" he answer
"Because you're beating me."
"Exactly so play me so I can beat you faster." He proposed to me
"not happening" I told him
He made a sad face at me
"Why do you want to beat me so badly?" i asked him
"Because I enjoy beating you." he grinned
"Why?" I said laughing
"Because you're my girlfiend and its my job to beat you." Randy replied
"no it isnt."
"Yes it is."
"You are impossible." I said shaking my head
"No i am not."
"Stop disagreeing with me!" I said furiously
"Stop agreeing with me!" He mocked me
"I hate you." i said
"No you dont." randy return back to his phone
"No i do." I leaned back on my hospital bed staring at the ceiling
I closed my eyes to see if i would fall asleep but they flew back open when i felt someone getting on my hospital bed. Obviously it was randy. He pushed me over to the side so he had room to lay down. He is lucky he didnt hurt my leg doing it or I would of killed him. When he was situated he stared at me and smiled.
"get off." I said to him
He shook his head "You look like you could use some company."
i couldnt help but smile. I wanted to snuggle close to him but i couldnt really move that much. So i just wrapped my arm around his.
"You hate me now?" He said smirking
"No," I said "I never did."
"Great." randy said
"I never want to let go of this." I said
"You'll never have to i promise. " He began "I will always be with you. I love you."
"And I love you."
He can always make a bad situation better

"I'm scared." I said to Jake
I was about to go into surgery and i was so freaking scared. Nervous too. Jake was standing next to me holding me as they prepped for my surgery. Once this was done i would be on my way to healing and back to soccer. Back to my dreams. I know its going to take a long time to heal but I just need my knee to heal as fast as it can. I'm not trying to miss my senior year of soccer.
"You are going to be fine Naomi." Jake told me "I'll be waiting for you when you are done. We we'll all be waiting."
"I hope so." I said
Jake gave me a comforting smile "You'll be okay."
"hopefully."
"Dont think like that." He told me
I shrugged. Butterflies were flying in my stomach. I couldnt get rid of the feeling. I just want to get this over with already. Like can I start already.
"Okay we are ready to take her into the OR." One of the nurses said
"Jake.." I said panically
He stroked my hair trying to calm me down "Its okay naomi, You'll be fine."
Stop saying that
But i just nodded
Jake kissed the top of my forehead "See you soon kid."
They took me out of my room and to the OR. I was probably shitting my pants beause of how scared I was. I never had surgery before. I never had an injury this big before. I want this to be over with already and it hasnt even started. I was in the OR now and there was so many doctors. Omg go away. They told me that they were going to put me to sleep and I wasnt going to feel anything. Afterwards I will feel the pain but thats when i wake up. Great
"Okay are you ready Naomi?" The doctor asked me
I nodded
They put the air mask on me and seconds later I blacked out.

Randy Garret
i didnt want to leave the hospital. Not until naomi is out of surgery. Its been an hour already when is going to be done? No word yet, nothing. I am so impatient and I just want to see her and kiss her and say 'You did it' I had to get surgery on my shoulder once my sophmore year.
It was not fun. I was in so much pain and I hated it. They gave me pain pills to ease the pain but honestly it didnt help much.
"Randy you are still here?" Jake said walking into the waiting
"Umm yeah why wouldnt I?" I said
He laughed "you're right" he sat down next to me "Thanks for staying with her and keeping her company. She would of freaked out if she was alone in a hospital."
"I figure she doesnt like hospitals because of her-"I couldnt finish the sentence
"Our parents" He finished for me "Yeah expecially our mom as you know she didnt take that well and with dad even though she says she doesnt care about him she does secretly maybe not anymore but she did."
I couldnt even say anything
"When I went to the hospital because i was in a car accident she freaked out. One cause thats how my mom died and Two she hated going to the hospitable. I was fine, it wasnt anything serious I just had a minor concussion and twisted ankle. I dont blame her though and I try to help her but it seems like she doesnt want any. How am i suppose to help her if she doesnt want it? I tried to get her to see a therapist but she didnt want too. I dont want to see her suffer anymore and I know she still is expecially now." He continued
Jake was really trying to be a good guardian not just now but forever. When her mom died and he knew that his dad didnt want nothing to do with her he had to help her. Thinking about Naomi being damanged all those year hurts me, but arent we all damanged? the worst part i ddint even notice. Yeah i knotice her but I never notice she was hurting. How stupid was I? But could i have helped her then? maybe i couldnt?
"She is trying to show that she is strong enough to go on her own" I said
"Yeah she might be strong on the outside, she is week in the inside." Jake said
I just nodded
"She is lucky to have someone like you." Jake told me
I smiled
"No i'm serious she never been this happy before. You make her so happy. keep it up"
"I try"
"Dont gloat." He said
We both just laughed until Chelsea came in looking excited
"What is it babe?" Jake said
"She out of surgery now and we just have to wait till she wakes up." She Squealed
My face light up so bright
Now I just have to wait for my princess to wake up.
