PLATONIC:
The guard dog his friend never knew they had. Drake demands that they remain inside their house once the sun goes down and will materialize from the shadows to scold them if they disobey. During the day, he has a habit of tailing them and targeting anyone rude to them as stinking of villainy.
Shows favouritism during rescues. Any villain or natural disaster threatens the city of St. Canard, and Drake's friend is the first one in the safe house. He will lock them in his headquarters whenever he deems their home compromised and does not shy away from endangering citizens if it means saving his friend.
ROMANTIC:
Interprets everything as a cry for help. All the villains know of Drake's vigilance towards his partner, and while many have the scars to prove why kidnapping them is a dreadful idea, some cannot help but see an endless opportunity to defeat him. This perpetual peril fuels Darkwing's inability to view them as anything more than a victim in desperate need of protection.
Invades his partner's personal life. If they start dating someone, Drake assumes they are being extorted. He cannot fathom the concept of them wanting to be with anyone other than him, so the relationship becomes inherently dirty in his eyes.
Launchpad turned in his seat to watch the vigilante with bewilderment. "Where are you going, DW?" He pointed a thumb at the adjacent building. "Quackerjack is at least four roofs ahead."
Darkwing Duck spun around, face the picture of contempt. "The safety of an innocent civilian is being threatened by that scoundrel scab!"
Gosalyn hopped from the Ratcatcher and marched to the edge of the roof, hands on her hips. "They're not being threatened." Her face contorted in disgust. "They're kissing." She lowered her head and pointed a finger at the inside of her mouth. "Yuck!"
"What?!" Before either sidekick could restrain him, Drake dove off the roof, grappling hook sailing through the air.
As you neared the face of your partner, a webbed foot planted itself in the side of their skull. They flew from the table and slammed into the metal pole of a streetlight, back arching and delivering a multitude of snaps.
"Ha! Your licentious lecheries have been thwarted, libertine!"
At the sound of your protests, Darkwing Duck whirled around with a smug smile. "Ah-ah, citizen! No need to thank me just yet." He brandished a gas gun and peered over his shoulder, fixing your partner with a glare. "It's all part of the job."
