Kyoya has just entered the top part of the Shadow Palace. As Asta and Yuno were happy to see him, the boy jumped down towards the purple mass of the devil's magic.
"Kyoya, watch ou-"
"Have some faith in your senior, Asta."
As Asta heard Kyoya's words, he saw black marks appearing on the ice mage's right arm. Soon Kyoya froze the mass of magic solid as he stood on top of the ice, using it as a platform. The others were shocked by this since the devil's spell absorbed their magic attacks. Meanwhile, the devil's eyes grew wide at the sight.
"His magic can effect my spell?! It can affect otherworldly magic. Not only that, the ice seems rather dangerous to me than regular ice magic. If anything, it may damage me even more than dark magic, which can affect magic from the other world as well."
"So this is the devil? You're even uglier in person. Now then....your magic or my devil slayer magic? Lets see which is top shit!!!!!"
As Kyoya swung down his right arm, a spiky pillar of ice made from his Ice Devil Slayer Magic hits the devil in it's side. When the devil touched the ice, he felt nothing but intense pain. While this happened, Kyoya wasn't ready to let up the attack.
"Ice Devil's Rage!!!!!!!!"
After first taking a deep breath, Kyoya releases a large purple blizzard of cold air, ice, and snow from his mouth as he aimed the attack at the devil. The devil was inflicted with so much damage that not only was it sent flying back, its spell and the area that Kyoya's spell made contact with was broken apart and frozen in ice. While this happened, Lumiere was in shock.
"Devil Slayer Magic? What a formidable power! If we combine the strength of Anti-Magic along with this new type of magic, we just may have a chance!"
While Lumiere was thinking this, Asta and Yuno looked at Kyoya. They couldn't believe how strong he's gotten already. Not only that, his magic sounds like it was made to defeat creatures such as the one before them. While this happened, Yuno spoke to Asta.
"Asta.....we can't just be left behind."
"I know....if we did, then we could never become Wizard King!!!!!"
As they said this, a lot of wind magic and anti magic was forming around Yuno and Asta. They knew what they had to do, they needed to keep fighting no matter what to protect the Clover Kingdom.
"Wind Spirit Creation Magic:Spirit of Zephyr!!!!!"
While Yuno was using Spirit Dive, he condenses external mana into a large, two handed sword. While this happened, Asta was pushing and condensing the edges of his blade with anti-magic as its size and reach was extending.
"Anti-Magic:Demon Slayer Sword:Black Divider!!!!!"
As Yuno and Asta did this, they stood side by side with Kyoya. All three of them smiled knowing that they had reliable allies.
"Yuno, I bet you figured that Asta's anti-magic is effective against the Devil. But now that I have Devil Slayer Magic, we have more options."
"Yeah. Plus it seems you've gotten stronger as well. That makes things easier! Asta, are you ready?!"
"Yeah....let's take this guy down!!!!!!"
Yuno and Asta flew towards the devil. Asta quickly flew in front of Yuno as he held his blade forward. Meanwhile, Yuno manifested a tornado from the edge of his sword as he used the wind to increase Asta's speed. Soon Asta thrusts the sword and it impaled the demon. Everyone was sure that Asta impaled the devil's heart until the devil said one thing.
"You pieces of trash."
As the devil said this, multiple mouths were appearing all over it's body. Not only that, it's heart appeared on the right side of his chest as it also had a mouth on it. When this happened, the devil decided to strike back.
"Tempest of Blades."
Suddenly a large multitude of bladed weapons started to rain down in the area. As Asta and Yuno used their blades to deflect some of the weapons, Kyoya had an idea on how to counter this attack.
"Ice-Make Unlimited:One Sided Chaotic Dance!!!!!!"
With remarkable shaping speed, a vast amount of swords are created, all made of ice in various shapes and sizes. These weapons are connected by a large chain of ice that spirals around Kyoya several times with the blades pointing outwards. Kyoya then swings one arm forward and one backwards, sending the large chain of weapons towards the storm of blades.
"It's not just my magic power that increased. I can mold my ice even faster now. Ice Devil Slayer Magic......just wielding it has already boost my Ice-Make spells. I have a long way to go to master it, but its the best weapon I have for now!"
"That ice mage just showed up and he's already such a nuisance. In that case......Blizzard."
As the devil used his Word Soul Magic, a storm of snow and ice was raining down with great ferocity. There was too much of it for Asta to completely erase with his anti-magic sword so he didn't know what to do. However, he saw Kyoya opening up his mouth as he did something no one would expect.
"HE'S EATING THE MAGIC!!!!!!"
"Man....my first time eating magic and it tastes so disgusting. Though it did give me a bit of a boost to my magic power. Now then, time to return the favor! Ice Devil's Shiver!!!!!!!!"
Kyoya creates an ice shard funnel that forms a straight line heading for the devil. As the devil flew upwards, he could tell that the biggest threat to him was Kyoya at the moment due to the nature of his magic. While this happened, Lumiere was next to Licht.
"Those three boys are fighting the devil while having complete trust in each other. I must say, the magic knights of this time really are a generation of miracles."
"I agree. They can handle the devil, as for us....we'll protect their allies on the lower floors from that otherworldly magic."
"Union Magic:Demon Dweller Sword:Protecting Light!!!"
Using the Demon-Dweller Sword's ability to connect to his allies, Licht and Lumiere hold onto the sword. Licht channeled Lumiere's magic power through his sword to the elves. The channeled Light Magic not only created a large magic barrier around them, but also increased their speed.
~Meanwhile~
Yami and Charla were standing next to each other as Charla had a protective barrier surrounding her. While this happened, Yami sensed the mana and ki of everyone fighting the devil.
"Hey Prickly Princess 2.0, can you see the battle up there?"
"My name is Charla. And yes, I can see the battle through my connection with Licht. Why do you ask?"
"Heh. I think I have just enough mana to use one more Dimension Slash. But launching it with only sensing mana and ki might not work. That's where you come in."
Charla couldn't believe what she was hearing. Yami was attempting to hit the devil with his spell even though they're on a lower floor. While she was thinking about how crazy he was, Yami was concentrating on sensing the devil's mana and ki while holding his katana.
"Don't look at me like that. If I can't reach him, i'll just have to surpass my limits. Besides.....a certain magic-less brat and an Ice Stripper is probably thinking the same thing as me. We'll finish this with an all out attack!!!!!!"
