~With Luck~
As soon as the match began, Luck quickly charged forward as he was ready to fight Kyoya and his team. Seeing as Luck has already left, Klaus sighed as he looked at Puli.
"I'm sorry, but could you please guard the crystal. I'll go with Luck and provide him with support."
"No problem! Wing Magic:Angel Wing!"
With her grimoire opened, Puli creates a pair of magical wings on her back as she carried the crystal while flying in the sky. Seeing this, Klaus smiled as he ran in the direction Luck went.
"Team J, they have incredibly strong mages on their side. Not to mention, that it seems that Kyoya is acting as their leader. I can only be certain of one thing, when it comes to tactics and technique...Kyoya just may have us all beat."
~With Kyoya~
"I can sense his mana. Luck is getting closer with Klaus following behind him. Juvia, you should get ready to-"
"Actually Kyoya.....i'd like to help you guard the crystal and have Mukuro go after Puli."
"That won't do. Affinity wise, Luck would be the worst match up for you. Even if you beat Klaus, you'll have to face him at some point too. It's better to fight someone you-"
"I understand what you're thinking. Because I know her best, i'd know Puli's weaknesses. But the same could be said about her knowing my own. Besides...i'm stronger than I was during our last mission. I want to prove I can fight by your side. So please let me try!!!!"
Kyoya was left in surprise as he heard Juvia's plea. Soon he looked to the side as he could tell that Klaus and Luck were almost here. Seeing this, Kyoya said one thing.
"Get lost, Mukuro. Juvia and I can handle this."
"Kufufu. So that is your choice. Well then, i'll take care of their crystal. You two put on a good show."
As Mukuro said that, he ran forward as he was heading towards Puli. While this happened, Kyoya and Juvia stood side by side. When they did, Kyoya asked one question to her.
"Are you ready?"
"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't. Let's defeat them and win!"
Kyoya smirked as he saw Juvia was serious. When they looked ahead they, saw Luck enter the area with Klaus behind him. As his eyes fell on Kyoya and Juvia, he smiled.
"Alright.....LET'S FIGHT!!!! Lightning Creation Magic:Thunder God's Gloves!!!!"
With his grimoire opened, Luck manifests a pair of gloves made of lightning that were clawed and extended up to his elbows. As he charged towards Kyoya, he smiled.
"Lightning Magic:Thunderclap Crumbling Orb!!!!!"
With his grimoire opened and his Thunder God's Gloves spell active, Luck focuses his lightning magic to the tip of his fingers to create a concentrated orb of lightning, which he then launched at Kyoya and Juvia.
As the two jump out of the way, Luck quickly leaped in the air as he kicks Juvia to the ground. While this happened, Kyoya lands on the ground as he looked at Luck.
"Ice-Make:Freeze Lancer!!!!!"
With his grimoire opened, Kyoya puts a fist over his palm and creates lances made of ice that once fired, attacks Luck from multiple directions. However, before the lances made contact, Klaus opened up his own grimoire.
"Steel Magic:Blazing Spiral Lance!!!!!"
Klaus creates a huge lance with a spiral head. The lance rotates at a high speed and, with a thrust, it drilled through Kyoya's lances. As this happened, Luck kicks Kyoya into the air.
"Damn....Luck really is a monster when he fights."
Kyoya creates a platform of ice for which he used to maintain his footing and to build himself some momentum as he was ready to launch a powerful follow-up attack.
"Ice-Make:Arrows!!!!!!"
After first crafting a bow from ice, Kyoya forms multiple arrows from both of his hands and fires them at high speed towards Luck and Klaus. While Luck was quickly avoiding some of the arrows, Klaus made a wall of steel to protect himself from hail of arrows.
"Got you. Water Magic-"
Before Juvia could launch her attack, Luck kicks the girl in her gut as she was sent flying into a tree. As she was getting up, she was catching her breath.
"I guess I deserve this. All i'm doing is just holding Kyoya back. All because of my selfish desire of wanting to prove myself to him. But even so.....I don't regret it!!"
As Luck and Klaus were about to attack Kyoya, they felt a large amount of mana behind them. When they turned around, Juvia was standing up as she was breathing heavily.
"I don't just want to prove myself as his ally. I want to prove myself to him as a magic knight!!! I'm tired of being left behind! Right here...right now......I'LL SHOW EVERYONE THAT I'M HERE!!!!!!!"
"Luck, this is bad. We need to think carefully about....."
"Ice-Make:Hammer!!!!!!!"
While Klaus and Luck were distracted by Juvia's mana, Kyoya creates a large ice hammer that floats above his opponents before dropping on them with great force. As the hammer disappears, it revealed Luck and Klaus being protected by a wall made of steel.
"I bought you just enough time. Now then.....go for it, Juvia!!!!!!!"
"Water Magic:Water Nebula!!!!!!"
Juvia created two waves of water that rotate around each other and form a helix that blasts Klaus into the air with tremendous force. As his body lands on the ground, Luck was the only one left to fight as Puli was guarding the crystal.
"Amazing!!!! Two strong opponents. I won't lose so easily!!!!!"
"Luck, you always were amazing. By myself I bet i'd have trouble beating you. But with Juvia at my side, I know we can win. I'm counting on you.....Juvia!!!!!"
"Kyoya.....the feeling is mutual!!!!!"
Kyoya held out his right hand as Juvia held onto it with her left. As they put their hands behind them, they both gathered a large amount of mana as they were prepared to attack.
"We'll give it all we got....in this one attack!!!!!!"
~With Julius~
"Water and Ice Magic combining to form a brand new spell! That requires some serious trusts, compatibility with magic, and intense magic control!!!!!"
As Julius had stars in his eyes, the other members of the Black Eyes had their eyes widen. They knew that Kyoya was strong but they didn't think it was to this level. However, Noelle's eyes soon fell upon Juvia.
"She has such great control over her water magic. If her team wins this match then that means i'll have to face her if my team wins the next match."
~With Luck~
"This is so exciting!!!!! Let's give it everything we got then!!!!! Lightning Magic Crumbling Orb!!!!!!"
Once more, Luck focuses his Lightning Magic the tip of his fingers to create a concentrated orb of lightning, which is then launched towards Kyoya and Juvia. However he fired multiple orbs at once as they were heading towards the two magic knights. As they did, Kyoya and Juvia were ready to attack.
"Kyoya, let's end this!!!! Water Magic:Water Nebula!!!!!"
"Ice-Make:Ice Geyser!!!!!!!!!!"
As Juvia and Kyoya held hands, Juvia provided a lot of water from her Water Magic as Kyoya used it as fuel for his Ice Magic which resulted in a giant blast of water hitting Luck with tremendous force while also getting frozen in the process. When the attack was over, Juvia and Kyoya looked at each other.
"HELL YEAH!!!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME, JUVIA!!!!!!"
"Are you kidding me?! It was your amazing ice spell that finished the job!!!!!
"YEAH WE DID IT!!!! VICTORY! VICTORY!! VICTORY!!!!!!"
As Juvia and Kyoya were singing in joy, Kyoya saw a murder of crows flying in the sky. When the crows reached a certain point, all of them exploded. When this happened, the announcer stepped up.
"Team K's crystal has been destroyed! Team J is the winner. Now we shall proceed to the final match of the second round!"
~With the audience~
"Victory! Victory!!!!!"
"Kufufu. It seems you two really gave it your all."
As Team J walked back up to the audience. Yuno and his team passed by Kyoya. As Kyoya and Yuno glanced at each other, they both shared a single thought.
"I won't lose to you."
As Yuno was staring at Kyoya, Noelle's eyes landed on Juvia. She could tell that she had lots of experience and technique with her water magic. Noelle can't lose this match. She wants to face Juvia, but she couldn't explain why.
Soon the match between Team M and Yuno's team, Team P, began. As Yuno, Noelle, and En stood together, Noelle began to think about what happened to Asta. She wants to win this for him, but she's not willing to admit that out loud.
"I'm going to win for everyone who lost and definitely not for one specific person."
"Yeah, yeah. We get it now. Of course we are and we're going to win."
Both teams were on opposite sides of the field with their crystal. Seeing as they were ready, the battle for this round is about to commence.
"Now then, the match between Team M and Team P, begin!!!!!!"
Hearing that the match has started, Yuno flew towards the enemy crystal by himself. While he was flying, the enemy team saw him and fired lots of bullets made of mana towards him.
"I refuse to just stand around and do nothing. Wind Magic:Towering Tornado!!!!!!"
With his grimoire opened, Yuno generates a tornado with so much destructive power that it repelled the bullets of mana as Yuno got closer to the enemy and their crystal. As he gathered magic into his hands, he began to think to himself.
"Asta...you may be down but you'll get back up. I've seen how you quickly adapt and improve. The more it hurts, the harder you'll push yourself. Soon you'll be countless times stronger. But the one who'll face Kyoya in the final battle...is me!"
As Yuno swiped his hand, a large gust of wind was in the area as the enemies crystal was quickly destroyed. Everyone who saw the battle were amazed at how fast and easily Yuno destroyed the crystal. Seeing this, the announcer declared Team P the winner.
~With Julius~
"Yuno, I can tell that you have much more to show us. But since Asta's battle against Langris ended in a draw, that means the final battle will be...."
Soon Julius' eyes fell upon Kyoya's team and Yuno's. Two strong teams led by powerful mages. To be honest, it seemed like this generation of magic knights was full of monsters. Yet, one thing was clear. This battle just may be the most exciting one to happen. As he smiled, Julius happily made an announcement.
"Next up, match two of the semi-finals. But it will be much more than that. Since the first match resulted in a draw, this means the match between Team J and Team P will be the last bout in our great tournament."
Hearing this, Kyoya and Yuno soon looked at each others eyes. Both of them had a look of seriousness and determination inside of them. Yet they couldn't stop smiling to themselves.
"To take another step towards my dream of being Wizard King......"
"To prove that the magic Ur taught me is the strongest......."
"I'll defeat you with everything I have, Kyoya/Yuno!!!!!!"
The last match of the Royal Knights Exam. Kyoya, Juvia, and Mukuro will be facing off against Yuno, Noelle, and En. As Yuno and Kyoya look at each other, one thing was certain. The battle between two monsters is about to begin.
