As Byakuran saw Kyoya, he noticed the look on his face. It wasn't the calm and collected look he usually had on his face. Right now, Kyoya was filled with nothing but hatred. But even so, that won't be enough to win.
"So what if your injuries were healed. You still can't beat me. After all, i've drained so much mana from you and the others in this village and using it as we speak. You can't win on your own."
"Iai Chop, Form One:Fire Moon!!!!"
Benimaru ignites and creates a sharp-blade of flames on the palm of his hand, and swung it at Byakuran, creating a crescent-shaped flame that blew Byakuran through a frozen building as he felt the flames burn him. Soon Benimaru stood next to Kyoya.
"Your friend gave it everything she had just for you to survive and to grow. Don't waste that life, ice mage. Not to mention, it's because of this bastard and his group that Konro is.....anyways, its obvious working alone won't work."
"I know that, that's why i'm counting on you Benimaru. After all, at the end the day, we both have the same goals. To kick Byakuran's ass and restore Sun Village."
As Kyoya said this, Benimaru smirked as he nods his head in agreement. Soon Byakuran flew towards Benimaru. As he did, he throws a punch at the man but Benimaru grabbed his arm and slammed him to the ground. As Benimaru ignites his hand with flame magic and prepares to strike Byakuran, the man puts a finger near Benimaru's chest.
"White Finger."
Byakuran focused his mana into a single finger and launches a powerful shockwave-type attack that blasts Benimaru into the air. Soon Byakuran flew upwards as he made another white dragon in his hand.
Seeing this, Kyoya quickly jumped and grabbed Byakuran's wings as he nods to Benimaru. Seeing this, Benimaru spun his body as he was falling downwards. When he got close enough, he axed kicked Byakuran on the top of his head as the man was sent crashing down.
As Benimaru and Kyoya land on the ground, Kyoya froze the wings that were ripped off Byakuran's body and shatters them. When Kyoya looked at Byakuran, he merely scoffed at him.
"What's wrong Byakuran? Are you reduced to nothing but a mere wimp without your wings?"
"You bastards.....don't get cocky just from a few lucky strikes due to your adrenaline! I'm still far stronger than you could ever be!!!!!!!"
As Byakuran said this, a pair of black wings made of pure mana sprout from his back. While this happened, the smile on his face began to disappear. He was tired of wasting his time here. Kyoya and Benimaru frowned as they saw this. Soon the wings were morphed into several claws as they were heading towards Benimaru and Kyoya.
"Ice-Make:Diamond Castle!!!!!"
Kyoya placed his hands on the ground as he quickly creates an entire castle made of ice. As the construct surrounds him and Benimaru, the claws crashed into the castle. However, large slash marks were left on the castle after the attacked connected.
"I won't lose!!!!! I can't lose here!!!!!! I'll do whatever it takes to see Echidna again!!!! I won't let my goal end here because of some emotional brat and a unenthusiastic moron!!!!!!"
Soon Byakuran released two Black Dragons from his wings. As the dragons got closer to Benimaru and Kyoya, the dragons started to multiply as they opened their jaws to devour the two mages. However, Benimaru didn't seem to be worried as he began to use his flame magic.
"Iai Chop, Form Seven:Sun Wheel!!!!!"
Benimaru creates a ring of fire behind him, resembling the sun, and he threw it at the black dragons. As most of the dragons were being burned by Benimaru's flames, Kyoya quickly ran forward as Byakuran created more and more dragons to use against them.
"Ice-Make Unlimited:One Sided Chaotic Dance!!!!!"
With remarkable shaping speed, Kyoya created a vast amount of swords, all made of ice in various shapes and sizes. These weapons are connected by a large chain of ice that spirals around him several times with the blades pointing outwards.
Kyoya then swings one arm forward and one backwards, sending the large chain of weapons towards the dragons. Not only impaling them, but also freezing them in the process.
As this was happening, Benimaru and himself were breathing heavily. Byakuran also began to feel exhausted. Soon he began to gather all the mana he had left into his right hand.
"You bastards.....I won't let it end here!!!! I've worked for so many years just to locate the Sanctuary. Now i'm so close to it, I won't let you bastards ruin my chances!!!!!!!"
As Byakuran gathered more and more mana into his hands, his wings were growing smaller and smaller. Soon black flames were spiraling in tremendous speed on his hand. While this happened, black roots made of mana have sprouted from his legs and were implanted into the ground in order to stabilize him for his attack.
Benimaru knew that he lacked any defensive spells, so his survival and the village's rested on one person. As he looked at Kyoya, he saw a serious expression on the boy's face.
"You know....whenever i'm faced with an opponent that I stand no chance against, the first thing that consumes me is fear and I get the urge to run away. That's not the only thing either. The ice covering this village, when I touched it some bad memories filled my mind as it reminds me of something from my past. It was so bad that I believed that I couldn't do anything to this ice, but.........."
As Kyoya puts his hand on the ground the eerie feeling he had began to consume him again. While this happened, he began to channel the ice through his own body. While Benimaru saw this, he noticed that the ice that froze the village was beginning to melt.
"I was just too scared!!!! I was so distracted by the feeling from this creepy magic that froze this village, that I didn't even try!!! I won't run, I will stand and look ahead to what I must do, I must face the fear, I won't let it control me anymore, I will use my heart that holds my courage and my bravery to move me forward to what I must do!!!!!! As Captain Yami would say.........I WILL SURPASS MY LIMITS!!!!!!"
As Kyoya felt the foreign ice magic being channeled through his body, he didn't notice that black markings started to appear on his right arm and is slowly growing. Not only that, his grimoire was glowing as a new spell was being formed inside.
"Go to hell, Kyoya Fullbuster!!!!!!!!"
Soon Byakuran released the violently rotating flames at Kyoya as a huge blast. When this happened, he noticed that the ice that froze the village was gone. As he looked forward, he saw that Kyoya channeled all the ice's mana into his own body as he was prepared to attack.
"Ice-Make:..........."
As Kyoya was ready to end this, he remembered what Wendy said to him. That someone wanted to save him. He knew of two people that did. The second one was Natsu. As for the first, an image popped into his head as he remembered their words perfectly.
"Become strong, Kyoya."
As those words rung through his head, Kyoya looked forward as he held his right hand forward. When this happened, he was ready to release the mana he channeled through his body all at once.
"Ice-Make:Silver!!!!!!!!"
After using the foreign ice magic by channeling it through his body, Kyoya used it to boost his own ice magic. After gesturing with his right hand, Kyoya not only froze Byakuran's attack but Byakuran himself along with everything else behind him.
"How can I lose........."
As Byakuran looked at Kyoya, he saw something that Kyoya didn't seem to notice. There were black markings that were covering the right side of his body. As he was frozen solid and looked at Kyoya, Byakuran thought to himself.
"Kyoya Fullbuster......you really are a monster. This is my lost. You win......Child of Greed."
As Kyoya was standing, the black markings on his body disappeared. While this happened, he was about to fall on the ground until Benimaru caught him. When he looked at the ice mage, a small smiled appeared on his face.
"You actually kept your word. You beat the bastard who caused all this chaos and you unfroze my village......thank you."
"It was no problem. After all, i'm a magi-"
"It's been quite awhile, hasn't it weakling."
When Kyoya heard this voice, a black spear was seen going through Byakuran's chest. When it landed on the ground, the spear just turned into black smoke. When Kyoya looked on the roof of one of the building, he felt another sensation in his chest as he was frozen in fear.
"W-what are you doing here?"
"It's not easy being a salaryman. My jobs get more difficult yet my pay never changes. We have something to talk about. So for now, humor your Uncle Reaper."
The long battle with Byakuran has finally come to an end. While Konro and Wendy have passed on, two people who know them better than anyone will always remember them. However, a new mage has arrived after the long battle. After so many years passed, Uncle Reaper has found his old victim.
