Xanxus lunged forward at Kyoya. When he got close, he tried to jab his elbow at the boy. Seeing this, Kyoya was ready to catch it. Xanxus merely smiled as he opened his hand and launched his flames behind him as he used the force from it to make his elbow jab faster as it hits Kyoya's chest.
The boy was sent flying as he lands harshly on the ground. When he looked up he saw Xanxus pointing his right hand at him. Xanxus smiled as flames erupt from his hand and were launched at Kyoya.
"Ice-Make:Shield!!!!!"
Kyoya creates a large shield made of ice in front of him, whose shape is vaguely reminiscent of a flower, to protect himself from the attack. However, as the attack connected, Kyoya noticed that his shield was melting as steam began to fill the air.
"He's so focused on melting my ice, maybe I can use it to my advantage."
As Xanxus looked ahead of him, he saw the steam was filling the air. When he looked closely, he saw Kyoya's figure standing in the distance. With a smile on his face, he launched his flames at the boy.
When his attacked landed, he was sure that the boy was being burned. Though he knew something was off when he didn't hear any screaming. Xanxus ran to where he saw Kyoya. When he arrived there, he was shocked by what he saw. His flames weren't burning the real Kyoya.
"He made a copy of himself out of ice?!"
Xanxus looked around the area to find the real Kyoya, but the steam made it hard for him to see. However, as he looked down, Xanxus saw a shadow that only seemed to grow larger. As he looked above him, his eyes grew wide with shock.
"Ice-Make:Hammer!!!!!"
While Xanxus was distracted by his ice clone and the steam in the air, Kyoya creates a large hammer made of ice that was floating above Xanxus and drops it with great force. As Xanxus was underneath the hammer, he used his flames to melt it.
Steam filled the air as Xanxus melts the hammer. As he moved forward, he slipped on the ground. When he looked down, he saw that the ground was frozen in ice. As he looked forward, he saw Kyoya in front of him.
"Ice-Make:Ice Cannon!!!!"
Kyoya creates a large, long-barreled cannon and fired a cannonball made of ice directly at Xanxus. As Xanxus was too close to dodge, he felt himself being launched backwards by Kyoya's attack as he was sent through a wall. As Kyoya was ready to fire again, he heard a weird clicking noise from where Xanxus was.
"Go to hell you damn scum."
Suddenly a concentrated beam made of flames was fired at Kyoya. As he jumped to the side, he saw the attack going through several other walls of the dungeon. Smoke filled the air where Xanxus was. As the man walked out, Kyoya saw the man with his grimoire opened up as he was holding something in both of his hands.
"To think I would need to use my weapons against scum like you."
As Xanxus held his guns tightly, he began to look furious. The more he looked at Kyoya, the angrier he got. Soon he decided to say what was on his mind.
"Scum, what is your name?"
"......Kyoya Fullbuster."
Xanxus was silent for a moment. Soon a vicious smile appeared on his face as he began to laugh. No wonder that Kyoya reminded him of Silver. It was starting to make sense why the sight of this brat made him so angry.
"Kyoya Fullbuster, I can't wait to reduce you to ashes."
~With Luck~
As Luck was trying to land an attack on Lotus, the man simply dodged as he used his magic to fill the air with even more smoke. As Luck lands on the ground, he started to think to himself.
"This guy really is powerful. Amazing! Its been awhile since things got this interesting!!!"
Suddenly Luck's eyes became wide as he felt a weird sensation. He fell on one knee as he felt as if his strength was leaving his body.
"Smoke Weakening Magic:Smoke Garden of Usurpation. While you were busy fighting my subordinates, I stealthily used this spell while you were doing so. Their defeat was sad, but not in vain."
Lotus smiled as he saw that Luck fell victim to the poisonous smoke. As he walks away, he wondered if Mars and Xanxus have made it to the treasure room. However, he stopped in his tracks when he heard Luck's voice.
"Hold it, we're not done yet. Its been far too long.....since I had a fight this exciting!!!!!!!"
Luck quickly dashed at Lotus. As the man jumped to the side, he saw blood running down his cheek. Soon he found himself trying to dodge Luck's onslaught of attacks. As Luck was attacking, only one thing was on his mind.
"Win. Win. Keep on winning Luck."
~Flashback~
"Luck!!!!"
A woman was seen inside of her home as a loud slap echoed through it. As she looked down, she saw that her son was still smiling.
"Why can't you just do what I ask? How many times do I have to tell you. Stop smiling like that. Get mad, start crying, do something normal. Why did you have to be born a defective freak?!"
Soon Luck was seen inside a room with nobles. He had just defeated a noble kid and was walking away. Everyone kept calling him a freak and monster after witnessing him fight. Calling him names because he never stopped smiling. When he got home to his mother, he told her what happened.
"So you defeated a noble with your magic. Oh Luck, that's fantastic. Who knew you would be so strong. Most people can't beat a noble."
Soon Luck's mother hugged him as she had a smile on her face. Luck hugged her back as he listened to her words.
"Obviously, you're special. And you'll win again won't you. Keep using this power to win and keep on winning. In this world, nobody is going to help you. You need to help yourself. Win with only the power that you posses."
~Flashback ends~
"I'm going to keep on winning. That's what my power is for!!!!!"
"Sorry kid, but I can't afford to lose either. Smoke Creation Magic:Smoke Binding Cross Prison!!!"
Lotus crouched on the ground and used both hands to create clouds of smoke that gather together and starts enveloping Luck. The boy's limbs and torso were restrained by the smoke.
"I have to win.....i have to win."
"Don't worry boy, i'll take your pain away."
Just as Lotus was ready to attack Luck, he saw that his smoke magic was sliced apart. When he looked to the side, he saw a boy holding a giant sword in his hands and a girl with silver hair.
"Oh some more youthful fighters are here, just who are you two?"
"You want to know who we are. That's simple...........we're his squad mates!!!!!"
