Mukuro looked at Kyoya with interest. This was the first time he met another human who has made contact with the Witch of Greed. His curiosity was piqued after just meeting the magic knight.
"To think the Witch of Greed made contact with another mage. Perhaps coming to this village wasn't a waste of time after all."
"Get the hell away from Seihi!!!!"
Kyoya couldn't hide his anger as he looked at Mukuro. While this happened, Juvia looked taken aback by Kyoya's shift of demeanor. However, Mukuro simply smiled as he looked at Kyoya.
"Please calm down, magic knight. I only made a pact with him."
As he said this, Mukuro points his trident at Juvia and Kyoya. He could tell they were powerful mages and that he might have a bit of trouble.
"Soon you two will also have a pact with me. This is a fight between magic knights and a fugitive. Let's see if you're worthy of being magic knights."
Juvia and Kyoya put up their guard. They could tell Mukuro was on a different level than the guy they faced before. As Kyoya looked at Mukuro, he saw something off about him. While his left eye was blue, his right eye was red and had the kanji for the number one inside it.
"Now then, allow me to show you a glimpse of hell."
As Mukuro's grimoire opens up, Kyoya and Juvia saw a diamond on its cover as it was a dark indigo color. With a small chuckle, Mukuro was ready to attack.
"Illusion Magic:First Realm, Naraka!!!!!"
"Water Magic:Water Jigsaw!!!!!"
Juvia used her hand to create a face-like entity out of boiling water and used it to fire beams of water at Mukuro. The man smiled as he didn't attempt to dodge. As the attack connects, dust fills the air as Juvia was confident she landed a direct attack.
"It seems we may have overestimated hi-"
"Ice-Make:Wall!!!!!!"
Kyoya suddenly got behind Juvia and made a wall of ice to shield her from Mukuro's trident. Mukuro smiled as he looked at Kyoya.
"So you saw through that illusion."
"Not moving at the sight of an attack means two things. You're either dumb or you have something planned."
"Impressive, you saw through that illusion. But what about the second one?"
Suddenly Juvia screamed in pain. As Kyoya turned around, he saw Mukuro slash Juvia's torso with his trident. Blood stained the ground as it was dripping from Mukuro's trident.
"Juvia!!!!!!"
"It's true that I used an illusion to take my place during her attack, but who said that I only made one illusion. "
Mukuro chuckled to himself as he saw that Juvia and Kyoya fell victim to his magic. He sent powerful illusions directly into Juvia and Kyoya's mind when he used the First Realm.
"Now then, let's continue this dance for a while."
Suddenly Mukuro charged at Juvia. Seeing this, the woman jumped back to gain some distance. As this happened, Mukuro through his trident at her. Juvia was prepared to brace herself for pain. Kyoya dashed towards her as he saw the trident getting ready to impale her.
"Shit! Shit!! Shit!!!! I'm not gonna make it in time."
However, both Kyoya and Juvia's eyes were wide with shock as they saw what happened. The trident went through Juvia's body and she didn't feel any pain.
"Kufufu. Illusions are just like mist. Once you're ensnared, its difficult to escape."
Suddenly Mukuro was standing next to Juvia as he used his trident to stab her arm. As she screamed in pain, Mukuro smiled.
"An illusion of me, an illusion of my weapon. After being tricked so many times, you can't tell which is an illusion or reality. Thanks to that, you and I share a pact Juvia."
"Water Magic:Water Lock!!!!!"
Juvia made a sphere of water that lacked oxygen as she tries to trap Mukuro. However, she was shocked when she saw Mukuro's body fading away as his trident remained.
"He made an illusion that was wielding his real trident!!!!!"
"Be honored, Juvia. I'm going to end our fight quickly so that i can face that Ice Mage without any distraction."
Suddenly Mukuro kicked Juvia's back as she lands harshly on the ground. Afterwards, Mukuro hits the back of her neck to make her lose consciousness. As this happened, Kyoya charged at Mukuro with his fists coated in ice.
"Oh, you're charging at me. I guess i'll make a pact with you sooner than expected."
Mukuro quickly grabbed his trident. As he charged at Kyoya, he swung his weapon at Kyoya's arm. Seeing this, Kyoya quickly extends the ice from his fists and used it to coat his arms in ice as he blocked Mukuro's strike. Soon the ice mage kicked Mukuro in his chest as the illusionist is sent flying backwards.
"I see. Yes, you are an interesting person. Your use of ice magic is certainly creative. Though from what i've seen so far, you're only capable of defensive spells and simply freezing objects without opening your grimoire. Though....why are you refusing to use it?"
"I don't need to entertain someone like you with an answer."
"Kufufu.....i guess you have a point. In that case, allow me to make this more interesting. Third Realm:Tiryagyoni!"
The symbol in Mukuro's right eye changed. Instead of the kanji for the number one, it was now the kanji of the number three. Soon Mukuro began to laugh as he was ready to get serious.
"Illusion Magic:Corpse Eating Crows!!!!"
Mukuro conjured murders of ravenous crows as they all flew towards Kyoya. However, since this was part of Mukuro's magic, Kyoya soon believed these crows were part of the illusion as he charged towards Mukuro.
"Foolish boy."
Suddenly a small number of crows opened their beaks to reveal razor sharp teeth as they bite down on Kyoya's shoulder. The boy screamed in pain as he felt his blood escaping from his wounds.
"You were only half right, magic knight. Some of these crows are illusions, but the Third Realm known as Tiryagyoni allowed me to summon actual man eating crows along with my illusions."
Kyoya screamed loudly in pain as he felt the crows biting down on his body. Soon he used his ice magic to freeze the crows on his body. While this happened, Mukuro was walking towards Juvia's unconscious body.
"If you don't shape up, i'll force the crows to devour everyone in this village. I'll even start with Juvia and the village chief of this place."
Kyoya's didn't believe what Mukuro was saying. He talked about killing so many people like it was nothing. It was like a person's life had no meaning to him.
"If you trust your friends and comrades, then don't hesitate to reveal your grimoire and fight with all you have to protect them."
Kyoya remembered Ur's words to him. As he looked at Juvia and Seihi, he knew one thing. He was the last person in Mukuro's ways.
"If I do nothing, Juvia is will die. If I do nothing, Seihi will die. If i do nothing, the villagers will die. But before all that......if i do nothing.....i'm going to die."
"Well then, its time we end this here and now."
Soon Mukuro made more man-eating crows. They all flew into the sky and suddenly dive down with their beaks wide open, ready to devour anything in their path. Mukuro smiled at what was about to happened. The crows were inching closer and closer to Juvia and Seihi, but he wasn't prepared for one thing.
"Ice-Make:Arrows!!!!!"
After first crafting a bow from ice, Kyoya forms multiple arrows from both hands and fires them at high speed towards Mukuro and the crows.
Mukuro quickly held his trident in front of him with both hands and spun it quickly to block the arrows from hitting him. However, he was shocked when he turned around. All the crows that he conjured were impaled with arrows made of ice. As he looked at Kyoya, he saw the ice mage's grimoire. It was white in color and was completely opened. However, two things surprised Mukuro when he saw it.
"The magic energy its giving off. Its light blue but...there's a tint of the color black mixed in. But why......he's a magic knight of the Clover Kingdom....so why is there a Spade on the cover of his grimoire?!"
"Sorry Ur. I can't keep that promise. At least, not yet. I can't relate to protecting others, because i never had anything to protect in the beginning. So instead, i'll start with what i can do. I'll beat the crap out of anyone who dares to treat life like its some damn game!!!! Starting with you, Mukuro Rokudo!!!!!!"
The time for holding back is over as Kyoya finally reveals his strentgh. With a new resolve, Kyoya is ready to bare his fangs. The battle between Mukuro and Kyoya has only just begun.
