Blake stood outside her class and once again when Taylor marched over to her starting something as usual.
"So you and Jace a thing now?" she asked her.
"I don't see how that concerns you" she shrugged.
"Well you see, it does! He will come back to me!"
"How can he go back to you when you guys never had anything to begin with besides sex?"
Taylor screeched and punched Blake on the cheek. It didn't phase Blake but oh did it make her mad.
A few people gasped, seeing Taylor hit her and stood from a distance as they watched the two.
"You are so going to regret that cupcake."
Taylor face paled slightly as she saw Blake slide her backpack off along with her leather jacket. She took her headphones out before tossing her phone on her stuff.
"I'm not scared of you."
She glanced at a few people around them, some pulling their phones out to record and smirked.
"You should be."
Taylor went to hit Blake again but easily dodged it and kneed her in the stomach. When she hunched over she kneed her in the nose making her fall to the ground. Blake then started hitting her before she got picked up by Jace.
"Let me go!" she yelled.
"The principal is coming! Stop."
"I don't care!"
Blake tried pulling herself out of Jace's hold but he only tightened his grip when she began to get out of it.
"Calm down baby" he whispered in her ear.
She groaned but calmed down slightly when a few teachers and principal came out.
"Everyone get to class, Blake come with me, someone get the nurse."
Jace grabbed Blake's stuff and followed after them quickly.
"Mr. Winters, you can go back to your class now. I'll give your teacher a call."
He nodded and pecked Blake's head before leaving.
"A fight Blake? Really?"
"She started it."
"Doesn't mean you have to finish it."
"Self defense."
Mr. Reed sighed loudly before rubbing his hands along his face.
"I'm going to have your mom come down here, the three of us will discuss your punishment."
"Does she really have to come down here?"
"Yes."
She rolled her eyes and waited a while for her mom.
"I had to take the rest of the day off, sorry it took so long."
"It's okay Mrs. Sterling."
Mr. Reed sent her a flirty smile which Susie didn't notice but Blake did making her want to gag. He knows her dad passed away in January so the nerve of the guy to even do that made Blake want to hit him too.
"As you know Blake got into a fight."
They began talking as if Blake wasn't there and she slid her leather jacket back on.
"Her punishment will be three days of oss and when she comes back a week of detention."
"So because I use self defense I get all that?! What does Taylor get?"
"That's none of your concern."
"It is my concern! She hit me first! I had the right to hit her back."
"Blake, honey calm down."
"You didn't have the right to do anything" Mr. Reed stated.
"Whatever. Fuck this."
Blake stood up and grabbed her bag before leaving the office and the school.
"What has gotten into you?!"
"Nothing!"
Blake stormed to her car but her mom was right on her tail.
"You're grounded for real this time. No sneaking off to wherever you go, you hand over your phone, you won't see it for two weeks and that's another week added to not seeing Jace."
"You can ground me from going places but I'm not giving you my phone."
"I am your mother, I can and I will."
Blake bit back her remark and turned her phone completely off before giving her mom her phone.
"No electronics for two weeks, the only thing you will be allowed to do is go on your school chromebook for work. That's it."
Blake didn't say anything as she got in her car and slammed the door shut. She held the steering wheel tightly before punching it repeatedly.
Her knuckles began to open and she sped home.
When she got to the house she no longer liked being in she slammed her door shut and locked it.
She threw herself on her bed before screaming into her pillow.

Jace stood with his football friends since his messages to Blake weren't even going through.
"You never told us that you and the freaky purple haired girl got it goin on" Ethan stated loudly.
All the jocks hollered and a few cheerleaders kept silent since they were friends with the crazy brunette Taylor.
"She's not freaky and her name is Blake" Jace grumbled.
"Oh I'm so sorry, you and Blake got it goin on huh?"
"Don't word it's like that Chase, and I guess? We are just chillin."
Tony snorted next to Jace and he elbowed him.
"Doesn't look like just chillin to me."
Jace only shrugged, wanting to keep whatever he had with Blake private. He didn't want to parade her around like she was some object, he didn't want to mess up what they have going on.
"Did someone bet you to do it?"
A few guys laughed and Jace shook his head.
"What? No, I genuinely really like her. Let's stop talking about it."
Tony tried bringing up another topic for his best friend's sake but the jocks weren't having it.
"Is she good in bed?"
"I bet she is a freak in the sheets!"
"Shut the hell up" Jace snapped.
They fell silent and Tony had to cover his mouth to prevent himself from laughing.
"Damn chill out we were joking" Damon laughed as Ethan agreed along with the other jocks.
"Do not even talk about her like that, I'm leaving."
He walked to his car and tried calling Blake but it went straight to her voicemail.

"What's wrong Jace?" his mom asked him at dinner.
"Nothing" he grumbled.
"Blake's ignoring him" Collin intervened.
"She's not ignoring me you little shit."
"Language at the table Jace" his dad warned.
He grumbled again and picked at his chicken.
"Is Blake really ignoring you?" Avery asked before their mom could.
"I don't think so."
"What do you mean you don't think so?" Gracie asked
He groaned and rubbed his eyes.
"After she got into a fight at school-"
"She got into a fight at school?!"
"Can you guys let me finish?" Jace grumbled loudly.
They all sat silent as Michelle didn't bother listening. She just wanted to get back to her barbies.
"After she got into a fight, she went to the principals office and that was the last time I saw her. Her phone is off because my texts aren't going through and my calls are going straight to voicemail."
"Maybe she's grounded" Gracie said.
They all nodded in agreement besides Collin.
"Or she blocked you."
Jace smacked him and finished the rest of his dinner.
"I'm going to Tony's."
"Yeah okay."
He punched Collin hard on his bicep and grabbed his keys from the basket in the kitchen and left quickly.
He saw that Susie's car wasn't in the driveway but London's and Blake's were as he knocked on the door.
A tired looking Blake answered the door and she yawned loudly.
"Why are you here?"
"You didn't answer any of my calls or texts" he mumbled.
"I'm grounded my mom took my phone."
She let Jace in and he gave her a hug.
"What's your punishment for school?"
"Three days of oss and a week of detention."
"If it makes you feel any better. Taylor got four days of oss and a week in a half of detention."
Blake gave a little smile into Jace's chest.
"It does, crazy bitch hit me for no reason."
Jace gave her head a kiss and she led them up to her room.
"I've been sitting in the dark not being able to sleep for the past two hours."
"I'm sorry baby."
"It's whatever, it felt good beating her even if someone stopped me."
He flashed her a smile and she jumped on her bed.
"No tv I'm guessing?"
"She took the remote."
Jace smirked.
"I have something else we can do."
Blake laughed and went to lean in but stopped.
"You breath smells like chicken and corn."
His face turned red and she laughed loudly at him, snorting loudly too.
"There should be a package of toothbrushes in my bathroom. You can get one."
He smiled at her and quickly went in to brush his teeth and tongue.
When he finished, he jumped back on her bed and he pulled her on top of him.
"You're too eager."
He only smiled at her before they began to kiss.
The two teens kissed for a while before they heard the front door close.
"My moms home" she grumbled.
She got up and locked the door and ignored her mom calling her name from downstairs.
"Are you able to stay tonight?" she asked him.
"I can't."
He saw a look of disappointment flash across her eyes before she masked it up and shrugged.
"That's okay. When my mom goes to her room you can leave then."
"I'll run home and get some stuff so I can stay."
"No that's okay. It's a school night anyways."
"Are you sure?"
She nodded and they hugged for a while before Blake snuck him out.
"I have work tomorrow, but I'll be over to bring you your missed work."
"Okay."
Blake shivered as Jace got in the drivers seat. He pulled her in for yet another hug and rested his hands gently on her ass.
"I'll miss you."
"Don't be so cheesy John" she snorted.
His eyes sparkled seeing her eyes crinkle whenever she let out a true laugh.
"Let me have my moment baby" he said seductively.
She looked up at him as they kissed goodnight.
"Bye love."
"Later skater."
Blake rushed inside before her mom saw her and threw herself on her bed.
She got close to Jace really quickly, she's never acted like this with a boy especially her first boyfriend.
Jace was just so sweet to her, treating her how a boy was supposed to. At least that's what her dad would always say. He would always say how she should be treated and well, Jace hits every point.
Blake knew her dad would have loved Jace and she was sad they never got to meet.
She was also scared on how fast her feelings were forming with Jace. It went from a crush to thinking about him all the time and as much as she wanted to be with him all the time, she knew that if she started doing that it wouldn't be good when they have to be apart for long. She knew that if they were to last after high school they would have to do long distance. She would be traveling and he would be in one college for football.
She didn't know if they were going to last after high school though. She didn't know if they would work out or not.
That part scared her.
