At Disneyland~
Dahyun's POV
When we arrived at Disneyland I was shocked, it was my first time ever going to Disneyland but I saw so many rides and I squealed in excitement. Momo held my hand and she looked at me.
"I am so ready to ride so many rides here!" Momo told me in such an excited voice, I chuckled at her.
Nayeon was looking at a map and we all gathered around her, "We should ride raging spirits" I have no idea what kind of ride that is but it sounds fun.
Little did I know when we arrived in front of the ride my face would drop because there is a loop. I thought to myself, "I thought they knew I hated rollercoasters... Why did they bring me to a ride with a loop..."
Jihyo grouped us together but I knew she was going to group Y/N and I because she knows my feelings for her. Momo held my hand in hope that Jihyo would partner us together.
"Dahyun and Y/N will be partners" I KNEW IT! I knew she would do that. I clenched my fist at her and glared. She just chuckled at me and walked away. I walked towards Y/N after removing my hand from Momo.
"But Jihyo! What about me I wanna be with Dahyun" I heard Momo talking to Jihyo this. I wanted to be with her I do... but I want to be with Y/N more...
"We don't need any smooching going on so you will be partners with Sana," She told Momo as she sighed. I'm sorry Momo... I will make it up to you soon...
As we were waiting in line I suddenly felt someone's hand on mine. I was startled and shocked. I looked at my hand then I looked up to see who it was and it was Y/N. I saw she was nervous and scared. I thought to myself, "I guess we both don't like roller coasters that much..." I smiled at her.
I gripped her hand tighter for her to calm down and I think it worked. I was also nervous but after years of acting experiences, I was able to hide it well.
I saw Y/N look behind her and then she took her hand away from mine. I turned around and saw Momo glaring at her. Y/N told her she was sorry but then suddenly Momo grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her.
I saw Sana walking towards Y/N and hugging her. I thought to myself, "I want to be the one hugging her..."
"I don't like it when you hold her hand..." Momo looked at me with a jealous face. I sighed at her.
"Babe... she was nervous and scared to ride the roller coaster." I tried to reassure her everything is fine. I know Y/N doesn't have feelings for me...
"Fine but at least stay here with me until we have to go on the ride." I nodded at her. She laid her head on my shoulder while we were holding hands. But I can't help but look at Y/N.
When it was our turn to ride I returned next to Y/N but I noticed she was distancing away from me. She must be scared because of Momo. I sighed and waited to be seated.
Once we got seated I held her hand to comfort her and it also helped me feel comforted too. She started smiling and I looked at her to adore her cute smile. For once in my life, I felt at ease on a roller coaster thanks to Y/N.
After the ride, I was hungry so I turned to Y/N, "Do you want to come with me to get churros?" She looked at me and nodded so we walked together but a minute later I saw Momo running to us from behind. She got in between us which kind of pissed me off since I wanted to be next to Y/N. I felt bad for Y/N since she distanced herself away from us. But I want to be next to her...
When we bought our churros and sat down Momo instantly starting aiming for my lips and kissed me. I was surprised but I kissed back since it's rude to leave her hanging. Then I noticed Y/N standing up and walking away. I pulled away and ran after Y/N holding her wrist.
"Where are you going?" I asked her since she was walking away by herself.
"I am going somewhere I can't be a third wheel" I looked at her shocked... Was she jealous? Or does she not like being a third wheel? Either way, I didn't want her to leave my side because I feel happy when she is around me...
"Please stay..." I pouted at her to get her to stay with me. I have to stop Momo from being so affectionate to me in front of her...
"Fine but don't forget I'm here okay..." I nodded at her and we both walked back to eat our churros. I stopped Momo every time she wanted to do something affectionate.
"Why are you acting like this Dahyun?" Momo whispered to me while pouting.
"Because it's rude to exclude and show affection especially if we are with friends" I whispered to her as I tried to come up with reasons. I thought to myself, "My feelings for Momo are slowly going away... it's going away because of Y/N. But Y/N... she still loves Ryujin..."
After eating churros we met up with the other members to ride more rides which was fun but I felt quite upset since Momo kept dragging me with her everywhere so Y/N had to ride with someone else even though I wanted to ride with her.
I was also amazed to meet so many Onces at Disneyland and some of them even brought us stuffed animals! But I smiled so much when Y/N was recognized by someone and they even told her to open a YouTube channel. I hope she does one day.
As it became night time the members wanted to ride another fast ride but I felt too dizzy to keep up. I am not used to riding so many fast rides and plus I wanted to relax. Then suddenly we passed by the carousel.
"Can I ride this?" Y/N stopped and turned to all of us while pointing at the carousel.
"Sure but isn't it boring?" Nayeon told her, she's so straightforward that I wanted to smack her head but Jeongyeon did it first.
"Don't say that" Jeongyeon glared at Nayeon as she pouted.
"You can ride it but the rest of the members want to ride something else. We can meet up for the fireworks after." Chaeyoung looked at her and told her.
"Actually Y/N can't go alone so someone will have to go with her," Jihyo said as my eyes widen. She looked at me and I thought for a moment, "Maybe I can spend more time with her this way plus she looks like she is really excited to ride that ride..."
"I'll go with her" I raised my hand as I walked over to Y/N.
"W-wait Jihyo! What about a bodyguard just go with Y/N? I think Dahyun wants to ride what we are going to ride." Momo said as I felt guilty. I thought to myself, "I'm sorry Momo... I'll make it up to you somehow and maybe one day I will tell you the truth but not now..."
"The decision is final Dahyun will go with Y/N. No excuses." Jihyo glared at Momo and I saw Momo looking down and upset.
"Also Momo I don't really want to ride any more crazy rides, I need a break and I think the carousel will help me relax," I told her to make her feel a bit at ease even though I can tell she is jealous. She nodded at me and the rest of the members walk away.
"Why do you like this ride?" I am curious to find out so I asked her and waited for her response.
"Well, its because as a child I loved the feeling of slowly passing by everyone in a circle while riding on the horses. It was always fun to see my parents and my grandma's reaction every time and I remembered they would always smile at me. My grandma would always take pictures of me when I would pass by and it was really just a good childhood memory for me." She said to me while smiling. I couldn't help but smile back at her. Her smile is contagious but I also know she has a good heart. I am having a hard time controlling my feelings...
"That's good you have good memories! How about this, you ride the horse and I'll take pictures of you and then you can do the same for me if you want" I wanted her to feel the same experience as she did when she was small. I hope she can feel a bit more at ease and happier this way.
When she rode the ride I can see how truly happy she is, after all the pain she has gone through I am glad to see her smile so widely today. I took pictures of her but I couldn't help but fall more deeply in love with her. Shes... amazing...
When it was my turn she took pictures of me too and I finally understood what she meant, the feeling of going in a circle and seeing the smiles on loved ones' faces. I felt genuinely happy, I felt happy I was able to spend time with Y/N.
"Did you enjoy the ride?" She asked me as I nodded.
"Yes, I did! I understand what you meant!" She nodded at me as I smiled.
"We should go meet the others for the fireworks." I nodded at her and we walked to meet the other members.
We sat on the side and I noticed Momo was all on the other side occupied while talking to Sana, I sighed in relief because I didn't want her to continue being jealous.
The fireworks started playing and I saw all the bright colors, it looked so cool. I have always been in love with fireworks maybe because all my sorrow and worries go away as I am focused on the fireworks. I turned my head since I felt something or someone was looking at me. I saw Y/N looking at me and we looked at each other's eyes and continued smiling. I loved the fireworks... but I also love Y/N. I just wanted to kiss her but I couldn't. I wanted to tell her... how much she means to me and how much... I love her...
