"It's 3am Keigo, where the hell are you?...When you come home you're so gonna get it"
*beep**beep**beep*
You leant back against your sofa lazily. It's been three weeks since he'd come back from his last big mission but he was so busy you'd only seen him for about three minutes.
Today he was meant to be back in time for dinner, you'd made him his favourite chicken dishes and had been waiting since ten o'clock but apparently Enji called him out for a meeting and then Rumi persuaded them to get drinks and he'd 'lost track of time'.
The last time you spoke to him was at 1:30 am and you could tell over the phone that he was far from sober.
As the clock hanging in your living room ticked you felt yourself getting more and more agitated, your eyebrow twitching and foot tapping in sync with the second hand.
*sigh*
"I'm going to bed, I'll talk to that overgrown pigeon tomorrow"
Just then the front door creaked open and you could hear the not-so-silent ruffling of feathers.
*flick*
He turned the light on to find you leant, arms crossed, against the wall with a very unimpressed look on your face.
"(Y-Y/N)-hic!" He beamed happily, gliding over to embrace you only to be left in a state of pure confusion as you stepped away
"Babybird?" He cocked his brow at you
"Goodnight Hawks."
"Oh no" even in his drunken state, Keigo knew that you only called him by his hero name when you were beyond pissed and judging by your tone of voice, he was in some deep shit.
"Dinner's on the table I'm going to bed" you huffed, turning away from him and heading for your bedroom.
He looked over at the table, your half eaten plate and his full platter of now cold dishes and instantly felt an ocean of guilt wash over him.
He dropped his coat to the floor and stumbled to your shared room tapping hesitantly at the door.
"(Y/N) baby"
You didn't respond to him.
You heard a soft shuffling as he fumbled over to his side of the bed, crawling in under the cover and tunnelling his arms around your waist.
"Princess" he whispered, his warm breath fanning the back of your neck "I-hic I'm sorry I came back so late I-"
"Lost track of time?" You mumbled not opening your eyes
"I really did-hic I went to-"
"I'm not in the mood right now Hawks. Leave me alone I'm going to sleep"
"But babybirddddd~! I can't let you go to sleep mad at meeeeee!" He whined shaking you like a little kid.
"I'm not mad at you. Now sleep"
"but you are, you only call me that when your mad"
"..."
"If you're not mad at me then cuddle me"
"Sleep pigeon"
"....."
"......."
It remained silent for a moment.
'Maybe he actually listened to me for once?'
You soon found out you were wrong as he placed a skilfully delicate kiss on your shoulder, continuing to leave a trail of soft butterfly kisses up the side of your neck until he was sat up slightly, pressing his lips against the base of your jaw.
"Come on" he spoke between kisses "look at me princess"
"Keigo, you're drunk. Go to sleep" you sighed, attempting to shift your body out of his hold.
"Well you called me by my name at least so-hic I know it's working a little" he smirked.
He rose up and positioned himself so that you were trapped between his arms as he hovered over you, his wings enclosing the two of you in this small space, forbidding you to look anywhere but into the eyes of your lover.
"Please stop looking at me so angrily" his silky smooth voice swept over you he lowered his face to meet your lips.
You could taste the liquor on his tongue mixed with a warm hint of cinnamon as his wet muscle glided over your own.
Although you were still annoyed with him, his presence was intoxicating and like butter you melted to his touch.
Pulling back he wore a childish grin on his face, one at which you couldn't help but giggle.
He leant back down and pecked you're nose before sitting up and dragging you up with him to straddle his lap.
"K-Keigo" you laughed, loosely draping your arms around his neck.
"Yes babybird" he winked, moving his wings forward to wrap around you, pulling you closer into him.
"You've got work in the morning bird brain, we gotta sleep"
"Na-Uh-uh I booked tomorrow off"
"You did? But what about the whole 'justice never sleeps' thing"
"I haven't-hic had any one-on-one time with my woman in agesssssssss" he placed his hands on either side of your ass "I missed you and I'm sure justice can sleep for that"
You felt heat rise to your cheeks as butterflies danced in your stomach.
"(Y/N)"
"Yeah?"
"I really am sorry you know" he pouted hiding his face in your breasts.
"I know you are" you smiled, looking down on him as you stroked his head sweetly
"(Y/N)?"
"Mmmm?"
"Can you cuddle me now?" He asked, staring up at you with puppy dog eyes
"Of course, but first you need to go brush your teeth and get out of your hero costume"
"Can't I just leave it on" he whined
"No. Sexy as it is, costume off or no cuddles"
"Alright" he huffed defeatedly
You snickered to yourself as you watched him drag himself off the bed and strip out of his clothes.
"Done" he beamed, turning to face you as he rested his hands on his naked hips.
"K-kei?!" You laughed "I didn't mean stark naked you dumbass, put some underwear on or something"
"Ughhhh, take off your clothes she says, put on your underwear she says. Make up your mind woman!"
You watched him amusedly as he struggled to put on his boxers and stumbled back to the bed.
"Happy now?!"
"Very" you smirked, laying back into your pillows.
Keigo climbed in over you, fitting his body in between your legs and his head on your chest, using your breasts to cushion him.
He coiled his arms around your waist and folded his wings against his back.
"I love you so much (Y/N)" he yawned
"Do ya? I didn't notice" you teased
"No I do I swear! I love you even more than I love fried chicken"
"And I love you too you giant pigeon"
"Babybird"
"Yesss?"
"In the morning can we get KFC?"
"No."
"But-"
"That place is nasty we'll go somewhere else"
"Promise?"
"I promise"
"I love you ten-hic, ten times more now"
"Really?"
"Yeah" he lowered his head and kissed your stomach gently
"You're so amazing Babybird" he mumbled into your as you stroked the top of his head gently.
"Am i?"
"Yeah...you're so fucking adorable it drives me crazy"
"Heh, I think you need to sleep birdie"
"N-no I don't-hic"
"You can barely keep your eyes open you liar" you giggled
"....(Y/N), can I tell you something I've never told you before" he yawned nuzzling deeper into you
"Mhmm" you hummed lazily
"I...I want you.." his voice trailed off
You cocked your brow
"I want you to...give me chicks"
"What?" you laughed looking down at him
"Imagine..imagine little chicks running about"
'If this moron thinks we're getting a bird coop he's really lost it'

Your eyes shot open as you finally registered what he was saying.
'He wants a-'
"Kei? K-kei?!"
But he didn't respond. The only sounds to come from him were soft snores
"He wants..a baby?"
