Rachel's POV
"Water...water" Scarlett gasped, twisting and turning.
At least she didn't die...
Maybe she will in two hours but oh well.

Just kidding. If she dies I will personally come to her grave, dig her out and force her alive again.

Everything would have been over if she did. I mean, we're all friends and three Elementals wouldn't be right either.

We decided that we wouldn't go to school today once again because of her injury and to just watch over her.
But we also decided to bring her to Delmas since maybe she can help.

I watched Aqua as she transformed ice cubes into water.

Delmas has taught us how to use our powers the other day too, but she didn't teach us how to attack with it yet.

I tipped Scarlett's head a little up and Aqua let Scarlett drink the water slowly.

Elena was still at her house resting.
I thought I should ask her how she was doing, so I called her.

The other end of the phone rang two times and she picked up.

"Hello?" A small voice answered.

"Elena?" I asked. "Is everything all right?"

"Of course, just a minor headache. I was just taking a nap." She answered.

If she was okay, she should maybe GET THE HELL OVER HERE.

I breathed in and stayed calm.
"That's good. Can you come over here? Scarlett's still..." I paused.
"Unconscious" I finished.

"I'll be right there." I heard her say before she hung up.

After about 2 minutes, the doorbell rang. I got really confused, but then I remembered that we lived on the same street.

Elena had created flowers and arranged them perfectly in a bunch.

"Is-is that for me?" I said jokingly.

She laughed. "Nahhhh."
And proceeded to push me to the side.
Rude.

I glanced over at Aqua to see if she was smiling, but she wasn't.
She sat there lifelessly, staring at Scarlett as if telepathically yelling at her to wake up.
I'm afraid she might make holes in Scarlett's face, from staring too much.

Elena walked over to Scarlett and placed the flowers next to her.
Then she looked up at Aqua who was holding another glass of water.

"Let me guess, she have been asking for water all day long?"
Aqua and I nodded.

"But the weird thing is, she's a fire element so why does she kept asking for water? That's Aqua's element!" I asked.

Elena shrugged. "Every human being needs water anyway."

I guess she's right. I worry too much.

When the clock striked twelve, we teleported to Demroy. It took us a second to arrive there. Even though Scarlett couldn't speak, we just held on to her and she appeared there too.

"Delmas?" Elena asked. All we could hear were birds chirping. It's so relaxing here.

In a few seconds, Delmas appeared in front of us with a smile.

"Hello girls." The smile was soon replaced with a worried expression when she saw Scarlett.

"What happened?" She questioned, obviously concerned.

"No time to explain." Elena said quickly. "Can you help her?"

Delmas nodded and motioned us to follow her. We stopped at a beautiful pavilion with fresh green vines overlapping it, and there were four poles at each corner of it.

Flowers were decorated everywhere. There was a shiny marble floor in which we were standing on. The most spectacular thing was the four statues at the end of each pole.

There were four elegant girls in dresses with horrified looks on their faces.
Huh?

Delmas grinned. "Ah, those are the past heroes."
She spoke as if she was reading my mind.

"The what?" Aqua asked glumly, still constantly glancing back and forth between Delmas and Scarlett.

"The past heroes. They were the best fighters that served Demroy. However, they lost against the battle of the evil Yaxer."

"The hell is a Yaxer?" I interrupted.

"Yaxer is the leader of a group called Maniacs. Believe me, I can definitely tell why they're named the Maniacs. But right now, I need to wake up the friend of yours, because the next part that I am going to tell you is very important."

Delmas twirled her finger around and created a blast of light which circled Scarlett. "By the way, how did you get her to have an injury like this? Did you run into demons of your own?"

"Errr I guess you can say that." I said, looking down at my feet.

"You have the power to heal?!" Aqua asked, finally returning back to her happy voice.

Delmas nodded.
"Only the guardians do."

Scarlett fluttered her eyes and opened them slowly, letting out a tiny breath. Aqua hovered around her, hugging Scarlett.
She realized this and pushed Aqua away, coughing.
"I hate contact."

Delmas clutched her heart and grimaced.
Her face was soon replaced with a smile.
"Ah I'm getting weaker."

Scarlett slowly sat up.
"What happened? Ah never mind." She touched her head and let out a tiny wince.

"Delmas cured you." I said as Scarlett looked at Delmas with a look I couldn't interpret.

"T-thank you." She muttered, not looking at any of us.

I chuckled.
You get to hear Scarlett say 'thank you' once every two years.

I guess even if Delmas cured her, she still had a little pain left.
Which I guess was a reasonable.

Aqua explained to her real quick about what Delmas had said so far.

"Okay so you are telling me, that these four people's group name is heroes? Ah.."
Scarlett asked, at the same time flinching because of the pain.

Delmas shook her head.

"They were past heroes, but their name wasn't heroes. They were Elementals, like you guys."

Delmas paused, as if expecting all four of us to say something. Then a stab of realization pierced through me.
Simultaneously, all four of us yelled.
"That's our parents?!"

So that's what they looked like.....

Delmas nodded.

Scarlett's eyes widened at the sight. Then she spoke.
"My mother is beautiful!...Not as much as me though. Ah..." After saying that, she grimaced and touched her head.

I swear she winces every time she speaks. She should just stop talking to avoid pain.

I sighed. "You don't even know which one of them was yours.

"Easy, this one." Scarlett pointed to a woman in a what looks like a silk, crimson dress.

Delmas shook her head and smiled.
That's Elena's mother.

Scarlett's jaw dropped as she flinched and rubbed her head again.
"Okayyyy...what about that one?"

She looked around and took a guess at a woman with a blue dress and a fur cloak.

"Do you really think a fire elemental would wear fur?" I chuckled, knowing that that was my mother.

"FINE. THAT ONE. Ow!"
She held her head in pain.
Now she was just plain guessing.

Her finger lead to a woman in a sheer, white sparking dress.
"That's Aqua's mother. Yours is over there."

Delmas pointed to the biggest stone woman, with a fierce look on her face, even when the rest had horrified faces.
It showed a woman in light body armor, and high spiked boots.

Scarlett gasped and examined the structure.

"She was the leader of the group."
Delmas closed her eyes and smiled. "A strong warrior she was. Even in tough situations, she did not give in. I admire her. Even now, I do."

"Delmas, can you tell us what happened to our parents?" Aqua asked.

She nodded.

"A long time ago, there lived four girls with element powers. Those four girls were actually my best friends." My jaw dropped.

"You were best friends with our mothers!?" I asked shocked.

How could she be alive when they're....not?

Delmas nodded.
"Anyway, they were my best friends. We were living happily in Demroy, when evil took over.

We started to train to fight using our powers. Mine was the power of light, and it wasn't as powerful as the elements, so I failed to keep up and failed to succeed the training. However, your mothers was far beyond great. I memorized each move, and tried to get it right, but I would never make it. When the time came and Yaxer and his Maniacs attacked, 4/5 of Demroy has been destroyed and the elementals failed to beat him.

Since Scarlett's mother was in charge of the elementals at that time, she decided that in order to save our homes, they needed to sacrifice themselves. Yaxer thought that this was a great plan, for nothing will stand in his way anymore. He let the remaining part of Demroy free as he froze all four of your mothers into stone. But what he didn't know, was that all four of your mothers had gave birth to a child. So it was a pretty outrageous decision to not to steal my power too but I glad he didn't. The worst thing though, was that I never heard from your fathers ever again. I believe that they are....dead..." Delmas took a breath and continued.

"The last thing that your mothers said was to take you four girls to a safe place where Yaxer won't find you. So, I decided to let you live with a normal life until you were old enough to know the truth. I sneaked you to a place called Earth, while I spent these years hiding in Demroy. I managed to change the location of this place too.

However, I heard that another demon, who runs by the name of Utain, defeated Yaxer not long ago. To think, Yaxer was unbelievably strong but has been defeated, shows just how powerful Utain really is. I've also heard that Utain has now heard of you four and has sent one of his worker named Jarts to your school. How he knows where you guys are currently at? I have no clue.

Jarts is the element of fire, and his speciality is hypnotizing his opponents in order to eat them alive and attain their power. Scarlett most likely wasn't affected by hypnotism because she was a fire element, and Aqua was probably the most affected. When Jarts died, a spark was sent to Utain telling him that he has found you, and now Utain knows that you four are alive. I know this because back then, enemies were everywhere and if you killed one, it would send the location of you. And one more thing......you girls are actually elemental sisters. Which means that you were born on the same days."

Well that explained why we thought it was destiny when we found out we had the same birthdays.

When she finished the story, I saw Delmas and Aqua getting teary a little and wiped it away.

Scarlett almost fell asleep and she wiped away her drool when I nudged her, and also winced again due to the impact of me nudging her.
It must've hurt real bad for her to feel pain with just a little nudge.

"Why do you talk so much?"
She asked Delmas.

Rude.
But anyways, Elena looked excited. "We're sisters!!" She yelled, trying to get a group hug but Scarlett demanded no.

Finally, Aqua stood up looking determined, wiping all her tears away.

"Let's train, fight hard, and do it for our mothers, us, and Demroy!!" She yelled honorably.
Elena pumped her fist in the air and joined. "YEAH!"

One by one, we stood up as if agreeing to Aqua. Except for Scarlett, who was yawning her head off.

Aqua gave her a glare and she stood up slowly. "yeah..." She said unenthusiastically and unsure of herself, raising her hand up with little excitement.

Delmas looked proud and stood up. "That's the girls I've been looking for!!"

I smiled brightly and Scarlett fell to the ground, snoring her head off.
