"You broke the school's windows!?" Bokuto's mother yelled at her son, eyes widening in shock.

Bokuto pouted before mumbling, "And the door too-,"

"THE DOOR TOO?" Bokuto's mother stopped for a moment to cool down since her emotions were taking over, and sometimes those feelings could ruin everything. She then softly asked with a vein looking visible on her neck, "Just what did you do in Fukurodani anyways? Aren't you supposed to, I don't know, study and get good grades? Aren't you getting tired of this, Koutarou?"

"I do study! But doing other things can be really more exciting than opening some boring books in the classroom, right? Oh! Komi and I also caught the fishes at Fukurodani's pond! They have huge fishes!" Bokuto proudly told his mother.

Her son is totally a very clueless-knuckle-head. Even with how upset and disappointed she is, she still doesn't have the urge to raise her voice at him. By his adorable face, she can only see a reflection of his father's troublemaker face and sly mind-set. It's obvious Bokuto took this behavior from his father, and she can't say she hates it.

Bokuto is the only child in his household, hence he gets a little lonely sometimes. At such a young age, he already pulled a few horseplays to gain his parent's attention - to praise or scold him, it doesn't matter as long as he can get their attention. He's a very precious boy in the Bokuto family.

But unlike any families, his father always praised him and even encouraged his son to be even more rebellious than he already is. Basically, his father was a troublemaker in his teenage years - also until now but he keeps it as a secret to remain in his job so he can provide his family needs and wants.

Because of his pushes, Bokuto gets even more motivated to do all the things that even normal kids wouldn't do such as riding a dog on their back, learning how to drive a car on the age of 15, joining a Diving club because of curiosity, and wore a skirt in his first year of high school for this festival and his friends decided to do the same.

Back in the day, he did all that to get more attention from his parents, but now he does it because it is fun. Not just that, but he likes it when Akaashi scolded him for his stupid ideas but followed him at the end of the day. Now that Bokuto is older, he knows his parents wouldn't be around as much as they used to, hence he needs to find someone to give him the attention he craves for.

"So, let me get this straight...," his mother sighed. "You and Komi got into the pond to catch... fishes,"

"Yeah! And they were really big too!" Bokuto nodded his head.

His mother had this shocked and exhausted expression written all over her face before asking, "Where was Keiji at that time, by the way?"

"He was in class, duh! He doesn't like skipping classes," Bokuto said before showing her his right hand. "Did I mention that I twisted my wrist when I played Volleyball with Konoha?"

"You twisted your ha- Koutarou, I've had enough," Her mother massaged her temples because of the headache that just keeps on coming. She told him softly, "Kou, I appreciate that you're being honest-,"

"You haven't known about me and Akaashi played in the swimming pool during class yet, have you? That's actually my favorite, not gonna lie, ma'am," Bokuto laughed at himself, still proud of the story without any hesitations at all.

"Like I said, I appreciate your honesty. But, Koutarou, this is just getting out of hand. You didn't only break the school's facilities but... put Keiji into more trouble than he already is. You hurt yourself, and what if it could be fatal? Your father and I aren't as young as we were used to," she said with a frown. "And it's time for you to grow up too,"

"Aren't I 6'1 tall already? How much higher do you want me to grow?" Bokuto tilted his head in confusion which caused his mother to hit her button.

His mother quickly gave him a death glare and growled, "You know what? Get out,"

Bokuto seems to be surprised at her anger. No matter how overwrought and angry she is, she always gives her the right solution for him to do rather than pushing him away. Well, he should've known too. Some people could lose their patience when they pushed their buttons.

"Huh?" He blinked his golden-wide eyes rapidly in confusion.

"Get out. Find a place for you to finally act like a grown up man. You're going to be 19 soon and you can't depend on me or Keiji too many times," she said with a glare. "Don't come home 'till you can think like a grown man,"

Bokuto is scared, for the first time. He is actually scared. His mother could be really scary but she has the point, especially when it comes to Akaashi. He can't let him do all his work, he can be irresponsible later in the future which is not a good sign for him.

But he tilted his head in confusion before asking with a tiny-kid-like voice, "I can go back if I become 20?"

That's how he ended up getting kicked out from the house later that evening. Bokuto didn't pack enough shirts so he knows he'll have to go back to get some more. Or he can try to become like what his mother wanted him to be; a grown and responsible man.

He gets it though. This is not a threat for him, it's more like a lesson. He notices that he's acting like a child, but he seriously didn't intend to act like that. He just likes it when Akaashi praises him and sometimes spoils him like he's literally a little boy.

Now that they're dating, Akaashi becomes even more protective and spoiled Bokuto too many times which ended up him acting more like a child everyday. Bokuto sighed before picking up his bag and strolling around the neighborhood until the sun is setting from afar, then he can search for a place to stay for tonight.

He called Konoha and Washio if they can lend him a room for tonight but they refused because Bokuto can be really loud in the house, he can disturb the other families as well which is understandable. They apologized though, they'd love to have him around despite his loudness because he actually is a fun person to have around with.

It's no mistake that Bokuto was thinking of calling his boyfriend for help but he doesn't think that's a great idea. He is his boyfriend after all, but depending and asking for a place to sleep this weekend seems like a terrible idea. Bokuto doesn't want to look bad in front of his boyfriend or his parents since he does love him with all his heart but in this case, this is different.

"I just need a place to stay for the night! I'll leave tomorrow morning without you knowing I was here!" Bokuto pleaded to Hiromichi in his diner that afternoon to get some lunch.

"Tarou, as much as I want to, but I really have no place for you to sleep. I have four kids, damn it," He said with a groan.

"I'll pitch in! I'll sleep on the sofa or even on the floor! Just for tonight, please?" he begged him, he's scared to say that he's homeless but he really needs a place to rest tonight.

"You'll get sick, and I'm sure Akaashi-kun will blame me. Speaking of which, have you asked your boyfriend yet? I'm sure he can give you a room. That boy loves you, Tarou. There's no way he'll say no," Hiromichi told him before excusing himself to get some orders from the other customer.

He's not wrong. Akaashi will definitely give him a place to sleep, but Bokuto has a reputation to keep up as his boyfriend. Asking for a place to sleep? That's such a lowlife boyfriend, who would do that? Nope. Not Bokuto. Haha, never. On a second thought, a warm place like his boyfriend's arms isn't really an awful idea. No, wait, he can find a place to sleep tonight without bothering the younger lad.

He had given him so much trouble so Bokuto would like to make something for himself. He drank his chocolate milkshake before paying and walking off from the diner. He had his bag-pack on his back with his phone on his hand, he's scrolling through his contacts to see if anyone could give him a room tonight. He had Hinata, Kuroo, and Oikawa. They live really far from where he is now, he might've fallen asleep on his way to their house.

"I should buy something for Akaashi," Bokuto mumbled to himself before turning back to the diner to get his favorite food; boiled rapeseed plants with karashi mustard dressing. He sure loves them a lot so he'll give him a gift at least.

On his way to Akaashi's household, Bokuto was humming some Michael Jackson song, which if he can recall it was called Billie Jean. It was the latest song he listened to so it was stuck in his mind as he made his way to his boyfriend's house. Once he got there, the sun was already setting and the color of the sky was turning bright orange with a light color of pink and purple. What a nice shade of color.

When he arrived, he heard someone was watering a plant therefore he assumed Akaashi's mother was home. When he opened the front gate, his smile grew bigger before announcing himself, "Ding, dong. I'm home!"

Akaashi flinched at the sound before turning his head to see his boyfriend on his front porch. His dark blue eyes widened before turning off the hosepipe, putting it down on the ground, before approaching his boyfriend. He scanned him with his intimidating dark eyes and noticed the bag on his back, he looks like he's packed for somewhere.

"Hello, Bokuto-san. Are you going somewhere?" Akaashi asked, smiled bashfully when Bokuto gave him his favorite food. Hiromichi must've cooked it because he can smell the similarities of once he bought it by himself.

"Actually, I'm going to sleep here tonight!" Bokuto told him with the biggest grin ever, truly happy that he's going to have a sleepover with his boyfriend.

However, the younger lad's dark blue eyes widened before asking him again, "You are?"

"I am! Didn't I tell you?" Bokuto asked, a little bit confused on why his boyfriend is acting so surprised. Then a wave of realization hit him before screaming, "I didn't tell you, did I!? I-I totally forgot! I was too excited that I forgot to tell you this! Akaashi, I'm sorry!"

Right. Bokuto's weakness number 27, he tends to get carried away. Akaashi should have seen that coming but it's more like an everyday thing now so he's not really that surprised anymore. He let out a loud sigh before raising an eyebrow at his boyfriend, what is he going to do with that adorable face of his?

"I don't really have any place to stay tonight, Akaashi! My mom told me to sleep outside because I was acting like a kid and Hiromichi doesn't want to give me a place for tonight so you're my only place to stay! Just for tonight! I promise I'll help with anything you want, just lend me a place for tonight! Please!" Bokuto begged to his knees while crying which caused Akaashi to have his eyes to widen in shock.

"Bokuto-san! Please, stand up! You don't have to be on your knees!" Akaashi tried to lift his lover up to his feet but the older lad, being stubborn as always, refused to. So he stood to his eye-level, kneeling as always while putting his hand on his shoulder to reassure him, "Yes, you can stay. Yes, I understand your position. But you could've called me first, I wouldn't mind,"

"Akaashi! Man, I like you so much!" Bokuto happily cried in his arms while the younger lad just smiled at his dorky boyfriend. He then continued, "I promise not to bother your parents while I'm here. I'll be in my best behavior,"

"Ah, about that," Akaashi giggled before smiling at his boyfriend, "They're not home at the moment. They have an urgent meeting in Osaka, they'll be back around next week,"

He didn't want to admit it but he did have an idea to ask for his boyfriend to accompany him in this silent house, but he's truly happy that the world is on his side. Bokuto legitimately walked down to his house and said the only thing that has been wrapped around his mind, he's truly grateful for that.

"Oh, really? Alrighty then! I'll make tonight the best night of our nights!" Bokuto said as he suddenly stood up to his feet, laughing proudly while challenging himself as if he's already an adult.

Though it sounds a little bit different in Akaashi's head, he even blushed in embarrassment when he noticed how dirty his mind is. Of course his boyfriend didn't have any intention to make it sexual, but his words are just making him think like that which he shouldn't.

However, Akaashi smiled fondly at his lover as he stood up as well before saying, "I simply can't wait, then,"

"Then! Let's have an early dinner together! Man, I'm so excited! Let's go, Akaashi! Up we go!" Bokuto somehow picked his boyfriend up with bride style, allowing the younger lad to yelp in surprise as his arms quickly reflexed to wrap around his boyfriend's muscular shoulders.

"Bokuto-san!" He blushed as his boyfriend carried him to the house as if now they're leaving together. But to think about it, it's really not a bad assumption after all.

As the night gets dark, Akaashi told the bigger lad to put all his stuff in his bedroom since he doesn't have a guest room and he assumed that his clingy boyfriend would like to sleep in the same room as him. Truth to be told, they have never had a sleepover together before since they still are a year apart so a thought like that never happened.

"Babe, imma head to shower in your room, 'kay?" Bokuto warned him after washing the dishes.

"Yes, make yourself comfortable," Akaashi allowed him as he closed all the curtains around the house and locked all the doors, they're about to pass out soon since today has been a hell of a day too.

As the lights outside are on to illuminate the dark surrounding, Akaashi can say to himself that they're ready to call it for a night. He switched off all the lights downstairs and headed upstairs to prepare a spare futon for his boyfriend. He heard him singing some Ariana Grande's song, Akaashi giggled to himself - Now that's new.

"I will never get used on how nice your room is, 'Kaashi!" Bokuto suddenly came out with his thin white t-shirt and short pj pants. He then watched as the younger lad climbed on his bed. The older lad laughed at the scene of his adorable boyfriend before sitting on his bed, talking in a soft tone, "Tired already?"

Ah. He has asked that too when they got punished for breaking the school's alarm with a baseball bat. But for this time, it sounded more calming and charming as if Bokuto is truly concerned about his well-being. That's really sweet of his boyfriend.

"Yes, if you don't mind," Akaashi smiled sweetly at his boyfriend before grabbing his larger hand and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

"I don't mind at all. Get some rest, Akaashi," Bokuto said before leaning in to press a soft peck on his forehead.

Akaashi watched as his boyfriend stood up from his bed and switched the lights off, taking the sign that the older lad is going to sleep in as well. He then couldn't help but whisper, "Good night, Bokuto-san,"

"Night night. Sweet dreams," his boyfriend whispered back before smiling to himself. Rolling to the other side as Akaashi faced the wall to get comfortable, he really needs to stop this loud beating on his chest and get a nice sleep.

Clocks ticking. A soft breath could be heard from the other bed, and crickets were singing outside with the lights off. Everyone is asleep at this hour, everyone is sure of that fact. But like every story, there are a few people who would start their days at this hour and it's really saddening to say that one of the people is Bokuto himself.

His golden eyes seemed to be wide awake while his brain and body were physically exhausted. He has been walking around to find a shelter for tonight, no wonder why he's very tired. The older lad carefully listened to his boyfriend's soft snores which is a sign that he's in his deep sleep and he won't cause any trouble that ended up waking his lover up.

Though, he wishes he sleeps next to him instead of this futon. They smell a lot like Akaashi's room but he can bet that his bed sheet smells more like him. However, he doesn't want to force his lover to do things he isn't ready yet like sleeping on the same bed. That'd be really creepy too considering they have been dating for almost two weeks, and Bokuto willingly waits for his lover to allow him that soon.

As his mind starts to wander off to another dimension, Bokuto realizes that this only makes him even more wide awake than he already is. He has to tire himself more to get some enough sleep for tonight. Yes, that's actually a great idea, but what will tire him out? The owl looking lad slowly rose up from his futon, glancing at his lover who's still sleeping peacefully on his bed.

Ugh, even during his sleep, Akaashi is still a beautiful man! Bokuto blushed a little before approaching the sleeping lad, smiling fondly at the peaceful expression which only happens only once in a lifetime. Akaashi is a hard-working person, hence he'll always look stressed and pressure himself with so many unnecessary things like worrying about his boyfriend.

A thought like that really made Bokuto grateful to have him as his boyfriend. He sure is a lucky boy on this planet to have him in his arms, lucky to be able call him as his. Bokuto couldn't help but press a gentle kiss on his cheek before standing up and exiting the bedroom to find something for him.

"Okay...," Bokuto smiled to himself as he carefully made his way downstairs. He mumbles, "What to do?"

At first, he checked the kitchen to find any snacks that Akaashi's family had in this simple house but only to find nothing in particular. How can this family live without any chips around? No wonder why they're in such good shape. Then soon, Bokuto turned his head to the TV and saw a game console underneath the large device.

"Huh? I didn't know Akaashi had a PS4," Bokuto talked to himself as he approached the machine and grabbed the cd on it. He scanned the words and his eyes glistened in happiness, "Whoa! What? No freaking way! Akaashi plays FIFA? Hell, fuckin' yeah! That's my baby!"

Without a second thought, Bokuto turned the console on and inserted the game with the controller on his hand. He took a seat on the soft sofa before leveling down the volume to 6 so his game wouldn't disturb his boyfriend's peaceful sleep in his bedroom.

Before playing, Bokuto checked the time and saw it was 11 pm. He says to himself, "I'll head back to bed at 12,"

12 turns to 1. And now it's 3 in the morning, yet Bokuto is still in the living room - playing the game, legs crossing on the sofa, sticking his tongue out while his golden eyes got larger as he got addicted to the game. His grunts, groans, and curses whispers somehow startled Akaashi from his sleep. He carefully blinked his eyes before waking up from his bed.

"Bokuto-san?" His voice is really husky because of how dry his throat is. He saw the empty futon on the ground, the absence of his boyfriend is making him frown.

Now, where in the world did he sneak off to? But it didn't take very long for Akaashi to notice the lights under his door and a little yell from downstairs. Ah, of course. Akaashi smiled before getting a jacket which belongs to his boyfriend as he wrapped it around himself before getting downstairs.

"Bokuto-san?" His voice startled Bokuto so much that his face went pale.

"A-Akaashi? Did I wake you up?" Bokuto seemed to tense up once he heard his lover's beautiful voice.

"I guess you did," Akaashi said with a sleepy yet fond smile before joining him on the sofa, curling closer to the warmth of his boyfriend before asking, "My father used to play this every night. I'm surprised you found them,"

"Your father plays this? I mean, I'm not surprised, but I thought you played this too," Bokuto said in his low husky voice, and didn't want to sound really loud in the quiet living room.

Akaashi snuggled closer to his boyfriend as he watched him losing to 1-2 in the game, he can hear the faint annoyed groan as the older lad went back to focus on the game. Then he asks softly, "Why are you up so late? Can't sleep?"

Bokuto laughed nervously before saying truthfully, "Yeah, and I got... carried away,"

"Of course you did," Akaashi said as he closed his eyes while laying his head on his boyfriend's broad shoulder. He murmurs, "Let's go back to bed, Bokuto-san,"

"You go first. I'll join you later," he said while smiling down at his lover. "You're exhausted, Akaashi. You need all the rest than me,"

"I want you with me," he whispered, softly tugging his shirt before revealing his dark blue eyes to his golden ones. "Come back to bed with me,"

Bokuto almost choked on air as he blushed madly when he saw just how innocent his boyfriend is. He's really adorable when he's tired, though he seems more alive than usual at this house yet exhausted at the same time. Seeing his face like this, how could Bokuto say no?

"Alright, okay. I'll turn it off," he said as he put the controller back to its place and switched the game off.

When he turned around, he saw Akaashi smiling fondly at him while fighting his eyes to stay open so he can see him better but he's really sleepy. Bokuto chuckled to himself before picking him up again like a koala this time and Akaashi just giggled before snuggling closer to the crook of his boyfriend's neck.

Once they're in the bedroom, Bokuto laid his beautiful boyfriend down to the bed and was about to sleep on his futon when suddenly Akaashi pulled him back to his bed. He legitimately pulled the bigger lad to his side and clung into him as if he let go, he'll perish to death.

"I like you... so, so much, Bokuto-san," Akaashi whispered as he lay his head to his beating chest.

Bokuto smiled at him, thinking of how lucky he is right to be able to sleep next to a beautiful angel like him, he then replied while planting a kiss on his forehead, "I like you too, Akaashi. Very much,"

And that was the last thing they said before they went back to their sleeps. It was really peaceful and calm, very different from their previous nights. Akaashi's may be small, but they sleep just fine with their legs tingling on one another and arms wrapped around each other. That's all the things they need.
