Y/n pov
I told Millie that I needed help getting ready for a date with Justin, she was curling my hair while I did my makeup, natural like always,
"So where are you guys going?" She asks.
"Honestly not sure, it's a surprise." I giggle.
"You two are getting serious." Millie smirked.
"I think I love him." I smile.
"Aww oh my god, my heart." She holds her hand to her chest and pretends to be faint.
"Its not that serious." I giggle.
"Of course it is!" She says.
"True." I smile.
"You should tell him tonight." She says.
"I'll think about it." I thought about it.
I'm going to tell Finn that I love him,
"Any advise? This is kinda our first real date." I ask.
"Be yourself!" She yells.
"Kinda hard not to do that." I laugh.
"Good keep it that way, god the amount of dates I've been on where they all lie about themselves." Millie rolls her eyes.
"Ohh sheesh." I sigh.
"I dont see that happening with you and Justin though." She smiles.
"Yeah, is that it?" I ask.
"Well its harder to give advise when you dont know where your going." She giggles.
"Ugh your right, what if I overdress or not be dressed for the occasion." I groan.
"Hey, come on dont overthink this." She says finishing my hair.
I sighed and finished my makeup,
"Your beautiful, it doesnt matter what you wear all that matters is that your with the person you love." Millie says.
"Thanks Mil." I give her a hug,
"Of course, now get that fine ass body in that closet to change!" She playfully pushes me then I giggled.
I changed into a jean skirt with a cute crop top and my sandals, something is missing though. Jewelry! I went deep into my jewelry box and my finger tips felt the soft velvet box. My dad gave me this bracelet when I turned fifteen. I slowly pulled out the box then opened it, I brought it to college and completely forgot. Wearing it brings back memories I think he would want me to wear it on my first real date with the man I want to marry. God I love him.
I put the bracelet on then went back out to Millie,
"Ugh my little baby is ready for her date." She pretends to be tearing up.
"Yeah right." I giggle.
"But for real you look amazing." She says.
"Thanks for helping me Mil." I smile.
"Your welcome, I know you would do the same for me, now I'll get out the way, I'm going to the cafe with Sadie." She gives me a hug goodbye.
"Bye, thanks again." I smile.
"Bye beautiful, I'll see you tomorrow, oh and the dorm is all yours." She smerks.
"Thanks." I chuckle.
Millie leaves and I sit down, it's almost 8:30 he should be here soon, then I thought, I havent even seen myself fully in the mirror. But I'm nervous cause you know what happens..
I got up anyways with my fear following me, I went into the bathroom then looked at myself. My body. Nothing I don't feel nervous at all. I think I'm going to be okay.. the thought made me smile.
Relief is something I havent felt in so long, then I heard someone coming from being me but before I could turn my head Finn came from behind then hugged me,
"Fuck! You scared me!" I laugh.
"That was the point." He smiles.
I put my hands on his then looked at what he was wearing,
A polo shirt with nice pants,
"You look so handsome." I smile.
"Now let me see what my angel is wearing." Finn spung me around and looked at my outfit,
"Your so beautiful." He kisses my forehead then I felt his hand on my cheek,
"So where are we going?" I ask.
"Oh your still going to have to wait." He giggles and kisses my lips softly.
"Ugh fine." I sigh.
"Come on let's go." Finn laughs.
"Okay." I smile.
Finn opens the door for me then I smiled.
"I love seeing that smile." He says.
Then we walked to his car,
He opened the door for me again such a gentleman, like always. I smile and get in the car then he grabs my hand before driving.
When we got near this shopping center I started to look around then we got closer to Chevys,
"Mexican food!" I cheer.
"Do you like it?" He asks parking.
"Yes I love it." I smile.
"Are you sure I just wanted to-" I cut him off my kissing his lips,
"I love it Finn." I say.
He smiles and kisses me again,
"Come on let's go." I smile.
I was about to get out the car,
"Wait, let me open the door for you."
"Oh." I giggle.
I watched Finn run around the car then open the door for me, he grabbed my hand as I got out the car,
"Wait Finn what about the fans, they're going to know this is a date." I say.
"Its okay I got the place closed so we can have our dinner tonight." He says.
"No you did not." I squealed.
"Yup I did, anything for my angel." He wraps his arm around me and we walk to the door, the waiter opened the door for us then we sit down at our table.
We ordered drinks then started to talk,
"God you look so beautiful." Finn grabs my hands and holds them across the table,
"Thank you." I smile.
"Is this bracelet new? it's nice." Finn asks.
"Um no, my dad gave me it before he died." I say.
"Its really pretty." Finn says.
"Thanks, you know when my dad gave it to me he said "I want you to wear this bracelet when you find your soulmate" I remember asking "How do I know when I found my soulmate?" He told me "You'll know when" I was confused then-" I rubbed my hand on Finns cheek and looked at him,
He was eager for me to finish my sentence,
"Now I understand what he ment, Finn you are my soulmate." I finish.
His lips moved to the curves of his smile.
"You make me complete Y/n." He smiles and leans to kiss my lips,
Should I tell him I love him now?
Or is it too soon the date just started?.
I'm overthinking, just say it!
"Finn I-" I got cut off
"Okay are we ready guy?" The waitress asks,
"Uh yeah." I say.
We ordered our food and what I was trying to say completely disappeared, it wasnt the time to say it then.
Finns pov
I really wanted to give Y/n an amazing date. I want to make her my wife one day,
After finishing eating we were making small talk,
"You know Noah told me about the night before the party, when everyone find out you liked me." Y/n smerks.
"Shit you know about that." I giggle.
"Yeah." She laughs.
But then the thought of her hiding something from me crossed my mind,
"Y/n, is something going on?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" She asks.
"I'm here for you Y/n always, you can tell me anything." I say.
"You can tell me anything too." She smiles.
I suddenly felt guilty because I'm hiding something from her, I backed off then it got awkward.
Y/n pov
I felt a pit in my stomach, I am hiding something from him. It got awkward, god this is my fault I should have told him from the start. He wouldn't hide something like this from me.
We finished eating then the waitress come over to us,
"More juice?" She asks.
"Yeah please." Finn rubs his neck.
She took our cups then came back with them full, and then before she set them down on the table they slipped out her hands and splashed everywhere.
