We and Jongho have been dating for maybe six months now and Valentine's Day, probably the most romantic day of the year, was today
I didn't know if we were gonna do something since I did have a relationship before but we didn't last until Valentine's Day so I never knew and I didn't know too many people here in Seoul to know if they were doing something with their significant other and not many people in my high school class dated and even then I didn't wanna seem nosy so I didn't ask if they were doing anything.
The morning of Valentine's Day, I woke up with a smile just a thinking of Jongho. I went to text him good morning but seems he beat me to it.

Go to your front door, I left a gift there before I had to go into work
I smiled to my self texting him a good morning and happy Valentine's Day back. I walked down my stairs and opened the front door, shaking slightly as I was only an a loose tank top and pyjama shorts. I saw a pink gift wrapped box before me and smiled seeing it said it was certainly from Jongho. I picked it up and closed my door before locking it and going to my kitchen counter and setting it down.
I untied the red ribbon and lifted off the lid to see red tissue paper. My heart was just beating out of my chest. I carefully unwrapped the tissue paper and my mouth dropped open slightly.
I first grabbed a piece of card stock that was a note from Jongho.

Here is a small gift for my one and only. Later today (6:30pm) I will be picking you up to go have a nice Valentine's Day dinner. It does have a fancy dress code so at the bottom of this box I found the perfect thing for you to wear. I hope you like the small gifts of my love and I'll be counting down the seconds until I pick you up.
I began looking at the gifts he had given me. This was too much for me, of course I was grateful for it but I couldn't help but think I wasn't worth all of this.
First he knew my favourite candy was sour cherries so he put in a big bag. Then he also got me three of my favourite chocolate bars, Dairy Milk. There was a heart shaped box of different chocolates, he knows I love chocolates. There was a small, oak wood box where I could showcase my rings because he knows they are my favourite jewelry and have too many. There was a small and thin but lengthy box where it had beautiful necklace in it with a small rose pendant on it, it shined with all its gold power. There was a small box full of black ponytails, which made me laugh because I would always tell him I would loose my ponytails and need to buy more. He also got a little inside joke gift. It was a gold ring with half an apple on it, the red skin of the apple jewel was attached to the ring with the whiteish inside of the apple heel faced me with two little brown specks to act as seeds.
I smiled at the joke as I came across a black box at the bottom of the box that fit perfectly inside the pink one it came in. I struggle a bit to get it out but nonetheless it came out and I kinda just stared at it. Before taking off the black ribbon and taking off the top and pulling back the flaps of the white tissue paper and my mouth just gaped at the dress.
I had pointed out this dress to Jongho the second month of us dating when we went shopping just for fun and I saw inside a store was this beautiful red dress but the mall was closing and me and a Jongho were both too tired to walk practically so I didn't mention it to him nor stared for more than a second.
I went to my bathroom to try it on.
It was the perfect size and just fit my body perfectly. Thinking back to that day reminded me of a gift I had got him.
Despite my worries and me stressing over him Jongho would want to celebrate Valentine's Day or not I did get him a gift. That same day we were in jewelry place where he likes to buy his rings he saw this watch that looked exactly like his great-grandfathers. It made him tear up and we left that store rather quickly but calmly since he was close to his great grandfather but he passed due to cancer.
I ordered the watch online because I had a little detail added which was his grandfathers signature behind the arms of the mini clock. I looked at it and wrapped it nicely with a black ribbon and took off the dress and back into my pyjamas to make myself breakfast.
