"Ah, you decided to be fashionably late, didn't you?" Kuroo smirked as he watched the two Seijoh lads to take their seats right across him.

"Shut up! My hair wasn't smooth enough, I needed to get to the saloon!" Oikawa almost yelled as he took a seat with an annoyed face, he even mumbled some inappropriate words - rolling his eyes when Iwaizumi took a seat next to him.

Kuroo couldn't help but chuckled at his dramatic friend before glancing at the other lad and asked, "Lemme guess, you pulled him out of the shower?"

"I did, or else we might get here around dinner time," Iwaizumi sighed before glancing at the empty seat beside Kuroo. "Where's Bokuto?"

"He's here. He's ordering a chocolate milkshake," Kuroo told him.

The four of them decided to hang out the day after celebrating Oikawa's father's 5-star hotel. It's more like talking about Volleyball strategy but they all know that things will not go as planned since they are just bunch of high schoolers in the middle of a summer vacation.

Soon, the spiky ombre white haired lad came back with a banana milkshake, he sulked before saying, "They said they were running out of chocolate milks,"

Iwaizumi laughed at the owl looking lad while Kuroo just shook his head in embarrassment but a smile was there. Oikawa, however, is still upset about the fact that his hair is not on point. Even after Bokuto enjoys his banana milkshake, the dark brown haired lad still mumbled and complained about the whole thing that Iwaizumi did to him.

Bokuto raised an eyebrow at Oikawa before turning his head to Iwaizumi, "Is he okay?"

Iwaizumi took a deep breath before glaring at his dramatic friend, "I don't want to know anymore,"

"All I needed was a nice cream-bath hair! Why do you need to pull me away from my bathroom!?" Oikawa literally yelled which caused his friend to roll his eyes in annoyance.

"Okay, okay. Should we just start over with?" Kuroo chuckled, tried to calm the other lad. Everyone agreed except Bokuto who just happily drinks his milkshake.

They talked about their strategies for their next volleyball match. Despite being in different schools, they always do this just to create some high-light on what they're going to do in the next match. After a few conversations, Oikawa started to join while Bokuto just minded his own business.

"Bo-chan, how come you never join your Volleyball club?" Oikawa asked in the middle of their meeting.

Bokuto thought for a second before shrugging his shoulders, "I don't know, I never thought it was that cool,"

"Stupid dumbass, Volleyball is a fun sport. You should try it out sometimes," Kuroo told him. Then he continued, "How about this? You give it a try once. If it's not fun, you can walk away anytime you want to,"

"Alright, I guess. I'll try soon after school starts," Bokuto shrugged his shoulders, still doesn't buy the whole thing but he'll try it anyway

Oikawa suddenly smirked before saying, "Bo-chan and Aka-chan left the party really early last night. Is there something I miss?"

Iwaizumi joined his friend soon, "Oh yeah, I saw you two won the game too, but I didn't know where you two hide,"

"We hid in a Janitor's room. And, Oikawa, you bastard, you lied about the hotel rooms, didn't you!?" Bokuto was a bit furious about the fact he couldn't hide in one of the hotel rooms.

"I didn't think anyone would buy that bullshit, Bo-chan," Oikawa laughed but then he put on a smug face and asked, "So, did you guys frickle-frackle or something?"

"Oh shit, did you do it, Bokuto?" This time Kuroo joined himself into the narratives.

Bokuto doesn't understand what his friend asked so he just stared at him with those wide golden eyes. Oikawa then rolled his eyes from asking that question to the dumbest friend in the group, he shouldn't have asked him that anyway, he knows Bokuto doesn't have the answer to that because his brain is empty.

"Okayyy... pushing that aside now, are you guys a thing now? You were awfully close last night. Like, really close, not a close-friend type of close anymore," Iwaizumi asked him, which caused Bokuto to frown before sulking down to the table.

"Whoa, is everything alright, Bokuto? Did something happen between you and Akaashi?" Kuroo asked, still a bit surprised that he'd react like this.

Bokuto frowned and mumbled, "I wanted so bad to kiss him that night, but I ruined it,"

"How so?" Kuroo asked, he was the one who set the two together so it seems like he's responsible for this action. Bokuto can be a really troublesome guy, but one thing he wouldn't try to ruin is the feelings he has towards the dark blue eyed lad.

"I could be his boyfriend this morning, but I didn't kiss him because... we were in a Janitor's room-,"

Oikawa interrupted him with a snort before saying, "Yeah, if I were Aka-chan, I wouldn't kiss you too,"

"Shittykawa-," Iwaizumi was this close to giving him a death glare but soon the dark brown haired lad explained.

"Listen, I'm making a valid reason here, and so was Bo-chan. Sure, they would've kissed, but in a Janitor's room? Yuck, that's not somewhere you want to remember for your first kiss," Oikawa explained as he rested his cheek with his hand. Then he raised an eyebrow with a smirk before asking, "Unless if that wasn't your first kiss, then you're stupid-,"

"THAT could be our first kiss but I declined," Bokuto whined before sulking towards his banana milkshake. "Akaashi is probably upset right now,"

"You don't know that," Kuroo brushes his own hair with his fingers before asking again, "Where is he now? I'm surprised you're not with him,"

"He's at the Museum with his old friend from his middle school," Bokuto said as he twirled the straw, a frown still placed on his face.

"Then go get him," Iwaizumi suddenly said which caused Kuroo and Bokuto to look at him with wide eyes, surprised that he'd be the one who said it.

"Iwa-chan~ you're so cool when-," Iwaizumi stuffed his sandwich to his friend's mouth to stop him from talking.

"You said it yourself, you can be his boyfriend this morning and it's not too late for you to make that now," Iwaizumi said. "And about your first kiss, you can change that like... right now,"

"I can?" Bokuto somehow got motivated because of the words that his friend told him.

"You can't change the past, Bokuto. But you can, I'm sure as hell, make a better future for both you and Akaashi," Iwaizumi smiled at his friend. "If you feel this awful, then think about what Akaashi's feelings are right now. He may be not that far ahead from yours,"

The golden eyed lad suddenly feels a lot better and already planned on what he's going to do next with his future boyfriend. Again, he's not really good at planning things out but he's really good at improvising hence he'll do that when the time comes. Akaashi loves surprises, especially from him, then he'd definitely do that.

Suddenly, his phone went off. He looked at his phone at the table and saw Akaashi's name on it. Bokuto gasped before looking at both Iwaizumi and Kuroo that his friend was calling him right after they talked about him. If this isn't fate, he doesn't know what is. This is definitely destiny!

Bokuto then didn't wait a little more before answering, "What's Gucci?"

Oikawa raised a questioning eyebrow at his friend, Iwaizumi, wondering why he would say that instead of asking 'how are you doing?' like a normal person. He needs to ask Akaashi about what he sees on this idiot looking owl. Kuroo, however, seems very impressed somehow. They literally share the same brain cell.

"Nothing's Gucci? Anyways, I'm sorry to disturb you, Bokuto-san," Akaashi's soft voice was heard from his device.

"Don't sweat it! Hey, why'd you call? I thought you were with your friend?" Bokuto's happy tone really made such an impact on the younger lad, yet he doesn't realize that.

There was a small pause from the call until Akaashi softly sighed, "She didn't come. I've waited for two hours and umm... I still have one ticket left for the museum, I was wondering... if... you know-,"

Suddenly Bokuto closed the phone with his hand before asking his friends, "Guys, Akaashi has one ticket left for the museum. Do you guys want one?"

Oikawa glared at him before saying, "Are you fucking stupid?"

"Oikawa," Iwaizumi tried to calm his friend down but he can't say he's the opposite, he agrees with his friend on this one.

"Bokuto-san? Hello? Are you still there?" Bokuto heard his friend's voice from his device which he quickly pressed it back to his ear.

"I'm here! Sorry, what were you asking?" Bokuto asked with his eyes set on Kuroo who's trying so hard to not laugh while drinking his tea.

"I... umm... was wondering if you'd like to come and look around the museum with... me," Akaashi almost faded out when he said 'me'. He was really embarrassed that he called Bokuto for this, but he thought he's the only guy he can talk to.

"Hell yeah, I would! Meet me there in 5 seconds!" Bokuto suddenly stood up from his seat which caused the other three to look up at him with wide eyes.

"5 seconds? Wait, where are you now?" Akaashi seemed a bit surprised.

"I'm actually not far from the Museum! I'll meet you there, okay? Stay where you are," Bokuto ended the call, drank the whole banana milkshake, then waved goodbye to his friends as he jogged to his destination.

Iwaizumi laughed before saying, "Go get him, Tiger!"

It was not long until Bokuto saw Akaashi who's standing not far from the entrance of the Museum. Though it's Summer, he still wears his long shirt - Bokuto wonders if he doesn't sweat with that outfit, but again, they'll be indoors for quite a while so he wouldn't ask.

"Hey, hey, hey! Akaashi!" Bokuto called him which, as usual, the younger lad flinched at the loud voice. He's still not used to how loud his friend is.

"Oh, you're actually here in 5 seconds," Akaashi is a little bit surprised that the older lad didn't lie.

"Ha! Admit it, you're impressed," Bokuto grinned before saying, "I was with Kuroo and the others. But, hey, what happened to your friend?"

The dark blue eyed lad sighed before fiddling the tickets in his hands. "I don't know. I tried to call and texted her, but she didn't reply. Her phone was off too,"

Bokuto frowned at first, hate to see the frown expression on Akaashi's face. But an idea pop out before wrapping his arm around his shoulder as he led him to the Museum. They exchanged the tickets at the entrance and soon they entered the amazing big old yet fancy building of the Museum.

The golden eyed lad had never gone into the Museum except for school trips, so he was surprised on how amazing it feels to be here with his favorite person. Akaashi seems like the type of guy who'd be here on weekends but his expression is almost as surprised as him. They're really drawn into it.

They started with the old paintings and starts making a small puns on the titles. Bokuto isn't really into art but he admitted, they're really amazing. At certain point, the two take a few selfies just for fun and it looks Akaashi's dropped mood is now gaining more happiness than before. He's giggling and smiling wider, he can't help but feel happier that he can help the younger lad.

They walk hand in hand as they look around for more until Akaashi stops at one of the paintings and starts staring at it. Bokuto doesn't want to bother him since he looks so interested in it as if he's studying it, maybe that painting brought him a few memories from the past but Bokuto doesn't want to ruin these happy moments for that.

"Hey, Akaashi?" Bokuto started which the younger lad hummed as a response for him to continue. He asks, "You said you were supposed to be here with your old friend. Do you know why she bailed on you?"

Akaashi sighed before starting to walk again with his hands intertwined with his larger ones. He says, "We were close, but... she was really unpredictable,"

"Oh! Like me, then?" Bokuto grinned teasingly while Akaashi just smiled fondly at him.

"I guess you can say that. But, she's... sometimes it was so hard for me to understand her. Unlike you, she always wanted me to understand how she felt but at certain points, it got me frustrated and I told her once I couldn't understand her all the time," Akaashi explained and the older lad listened to him intensively without looking away. He continues, "And I guess I upset her, and she left,"

Bokuto frowned at the story before asking with a soft voice, "Why was she so sure that you can understand her all the time?"

Akaashi smiled a little before looking at him in those bright golden eyes, "She always said I was really good at understanding people. She said I saved her,"

"Oh! That's amazing! I'm impressed," Bokuto smiled widely but then he asked again, "Saved her from what?"

The younger lad stopped for a second before breathing out, "That, I don't know,"

Bokuto didn't say anything as he realized that maybe his favorite person has been feeling so guilty that he doesn't understand her as much as he thought he was. That must be a very difficult and complicated feeling to have towards his friends so he decided to drop the topic if it'll make him feel like that.

"She was the one who invited me here, but she never came," Akaashi finally finished.

Bokuto just nodded as they kept on walking around to find something else to talk about. Akaashi is in a good mood now, that he even giggled at his lame puns so he thought that maybe he's already over with. He doesn't know anything about this girl and Akaashi's relationships, but he can only assume that they were close because they understood each other.

After a little while in the Museum, Bokuto decided to bring the younger lad for a quick snack break. He bought the younger lad some fish and chips, he decided to have himself an ice-cream but at the end of the day they shared their food together. They just sat there, enjoying each other's company while eating the snacks together.

"You know, I think I get what she meant," Bokuto said as he finished his ice cream. "But I'm not as good as you when it comes to reading people's mind, so I might be wrong,"

"We can always fix that later. It's not like you're always wrong or I'm always right, Bokuto-san," Akaashi smiled at him before feeding him one of the chips to his mouth, laughing when Bokuto almost missed it.

The older lad chewed the food before saying, "I think, when she said you saved her, she meant like you helped her to understand how she feels about herself,"

Akaashi nodded as he stared at the older lad, taking every word into his brain as he tried to understand his words. He did explain something easy to understand, but the dark blue eyed lad is afraid that he is unable to read what he meant for now. But he knows he'll fill the gaps soon.

"I think I can relate to her on this, but I won't force you to understand me yet you already did," Bokuto said with a fond smile on his face. "The comparison between me and her is basically trying to figure out how we actually feel. Before I met you, I barely could understand how I feel and you showed me how. That was basically what she meant. You didn't just save her, but you saved me too, Akaashi,"

Those dark blue eyes somehow glistened at his words, a blush crept on his cheeks as his mind clouded by the fact that Bokuto can actually say the words that he needed to hear. He can't help but feel like the blood came rushing up to his face, he tried to calm himself down by cupping his own cheeks while staring back at the older lad with his wide eyes. He didn't even bother to hide the fact that his heart skipped a beat, the words really affected him.

Bokuto grinned happily when he saw how he reacted, and soon he put his hand on the back of Akaashi's chair before saying softly, "You saved us to learn how to feel about our surroundings. I may be an idiot when it comes to understanding people, but you taught me how to do it. I'm very happy that she said that, because that's true!"

The younger lad couldn't help but softly inhale the air before exhaling and putting up a grateful smile on his lips. He couldn't bring himself to say that Bokuto isn't a person like he thought he is, he doesn't have enough evidence for that but he knows that Bokuto is very special in his eyes. They somehow lean closer with happy smiles on their lips, they stared at each other's eyes for any signals of consents.

But surprisingly, Bokuto is the one who broke their intense eye-contacts before slowly leaning away but not that much. Akaashi couldn't help but frown at his action, maybe today isn't the right time for their first kiss and it isn't like they were looking forward to it. Maybe the golden eyed lad is waiting for their next date for their first kiss. Ugh, just how many days does Akaashi need to wait for that day to come?

One of them literally needs to go for it or else it won't ever happen. They always take the safer option, but both of them knew that was the least option they've wanted to choose. Bokuto soon stood up from the chair while scratching the back of his neck, while Akaashi just looked down to hide his frowns. Guess they really ruin the moment without even intending it to.

"I... uhh... we should head back soon. It's going to rain. Come on, my car is a little bit far from here. We might catch it without getting into the rain," Bokuto suggested and the younger lad nodded his head before gathering all his stuff and followed him.

Akaashi then softly put his hand in the larger ones since he doesn't want the older lad to think that he was upset or anything, he still appreciates the fact that he came all the way here to accompany him even though he was with his friends earlier. As usual, Bokuto was more than happy to have his fingers intertwined with the younger lad's before leading him out.

On the way to the car, suddenly a loud thunder could be heard from the sky. The dark grey clouds are now covering the blue sky, the cold win softly hit Akaashi's face which he scrunched his nose and closed his eyes because he couldn't open them with that heavy wind. Soon enough, the heavy rain started to fall.

"Oh no! We need to find a shelter to stay dry!" Bokuto shouted since the rain was really heavy. His golden eyes quickly scanned their area until it landed at a still open music store. He smiled before pulling his friend with him and said, "There! We can stay there until the rain stops!"

"Good call," Akaashi agreed as he followed him right after.

The rain is getting stronger and harder, it was also mixed with light winds. Bokuto then gave the music store employee a head nod while entering the place to stay a little while until the rain stopped, the employee nodded back as if they allowed him to stay. The older lad then turned around to his favorite person who's trying to hide his shimmers because of the cold. They did catch the rain before they found the shelter, Akaashi might be getting a cold now.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything?" Bokuto asked him as he tried to find anything warm for him. He's wearing a t-shirt and a black jeans today so he doesn't have his jackets with him, now he wishes he did.

"It's okay, I'm fine," Akaashi said as he wrapped his arms around himself as if it could warm himself.

Bokuto then didn't spare him a second as he asked the employee if there was hot tea for him, the person nodded his head as he walked to the back of the cashier to warm one. The older lad was about to get back to his friend, but he got distracted as he saw a vinyl record of his favorite 70s-80s hard rock American band. His golden eyes sparkled as he checked the record out and soon Akaashi joined him.

"Akaashi, check this out!" Bokuto excitedly showed him the vinyl record.

Akaashi's eyes soon scanned the words and mumbled, "Hot in the Shade by Kiss,"

"They're the best hard rock band I've ever heard! Well, they were though. Not everyone knows about this amazing band. My dad showed me this once and I fell in love with it ever since!" Bokuto started to ramble as he examined the vinyl.

"Who's this Kiss band, Bokuto-san? Do you know them?" The younger lad asked with a smile, loving the way Bokuto would explain about the things he adores.

"Kiss is an American rock band that was formed in New York City in 1973," Bokuto explained as he gasped before pointing something from the record. "This is my favorite song! It's called Forever,"

Akaashi smiled before looking up to him, "I guess it isn't a harm for us to try and listen to it,"

"Oh, you're right! Then we can have our next dance!" Bokuto grinned before skipping his steps to the record player which is just on the side of the place.

The damp curly raven haired lad is a bit surprised that his favorite person literally took everything too seriously. He just wanted to hear what type of songs that Bokuto listens to, he didn't say anything about having a dance or whatsoever. But at this point, it's impossible for Akaashi to stop him so he just allows him to.

"Akaashi, put all your belongings here," The golden eyed lad said as he put the vinyl record into the record player.

"What? Why?" Akaashi asked but still did as he told him.

Bokuto didn't say anything afterwards as he tried to play his favorite song in an old record player. Akaashi never knew he has a thing for old 80s songs, but he should've known since their first dance on their first date. That was a really old song, but he can only assume that Bokuto has a nice taste in music.

Soon, the song started to play which caused Bokuto to grin while grabbing his hand and said, "Because we're going to dance,"

"Oh?" Akaashi almost sounded a bit confused but even more confused when the older lad pulled him to the entrance of the door.

"In the rain," Bokuto finally finished which caused the younger lad to have his blue eyes widened.

"O-oh," he's then speechless on what to say, but then again he didn't give him any responses as he literally pulled him into the pouring rain. Akaashi gasped in the cold rain that hit his skin that he quickly tightly grabbed onto Bokuto's shirt, "Oh!"

Bokuto just laughed at his cute reaction as he brushed his-now-wet hair which is down now. Since Akaashi complimented him about his hair, the golden eyed lad is getting more and more confident about his hair but he still tried to keep it up because he wanted to. Akaashi's lips trembled in the cold as the heavy rain hit both of them, but soon those lips turned into a smile as Bokuto tried to hear the song that was playing the background.

"I gotta tell you what I'm feeling inside. I could lie to myself, but it's true," the older started to sing really loud as they do their awful dancing under the rain. Akaashi couldn't help but laughed at how silly they look right now. A few people looked at them but awed at them instead of cringing of two boys dancing terribly under the rain. Bokuto continues to sing while dancing with Akaashi in his arms, "And I lived so long believing all love is blind. But everything about you is telling me this time,"

They jumped up and down, ran together through the rain hand in hand - Bokuto even jumped to the street lights while Akaashi laughed at him. He then ran back to the younger lad and lifted him up to the air and spun him around which caused the curly raven haired lad giggled and blushed really hard. When Bokuto safely landed him down to the ground, the chorus of the song started and Akaashi could listen to them really clearly. His heart raced when he understood the lyrics of the song.

"It's forever, this time I know, and there's no doubt in my mind. Forever, until my life is through. Boy, I'll be loving you forever," The song of the chorus is clearly the most romantic sign that Akaashi could have ever been into. Wow, he didn't think Bokuto would listen to this type of sappy song.

Bokuto then caresses the wet cheek from Akaashi who is smiling and giggling in disorder because of how adorable the older lad is. On the other hand, the golden eyed lad couldn't help but blush at the sight of a wet Akaashi because of the pouring rain. He might need to thank god for the rain in the summer, they really make his favorite person look even more adorable than he already is.

The older lad said under his breath that only Akaashi could hear as they leaned closer, his hand caressed one of the cheeks while the other was on his waist, "I see my future when I look in your eyes. It took your love to make my heart come alive,"

Akaashi smiled before curling his hands gently on Bokuto's torso as he just smiled at  him. Then he whispered, "Bokuto-san,"

"Hmm?" he answered him as the song keeps playing in the background.

"Please, kiss me this time," he whispered with pink shades of blushes on his cheeks.

Bokuto just smiled widely like a little kid before nodding his head rapidly. Soon, Bokuto cupped Akaashi's cheek with one hand and tilted his head to lean in. With the rain surrounding him, it was difficult to see where he's going but when he felt a hot breath against his lips, he knew he's going in the right direction. Soon, his cold lips met with those soft lips of Akaashi. They breathed out in satisfaction when their lips finally touched one another.

Akaashi's grips on his torso tightened as he pressed his lips against the older lad's as the song Forever by Kiss kept playing in the background. Enchantingly, the rain slowly stopped but the kiss still goes on. Bokuto tried to close their gaps if that was possible as he now tightly wrapped his arms around his waist while Akaashi's still gripped on his torso.

When they pulled away, Akaashi hummed before smiling sheepishly at the wet older lad. He then giggled when he saw Bokuto had his eyes widened when he just realized that he kissed his favorite person! On the lips! With his favorite rock band playing softly in the background! This is definitely destiny that it happened!

"Akaashi, kiss me again, please?" Bokuto asked and soon those lips pecked on his. He blinked his eyes before saying, "Again?"

He pecked his lips again, again, and again until Bokuto grinned really happy that he lifted him up from the ground before kissing him again on his lips. Akaashi is literally in cloud nine as he feels those lips over and over again, he couldn't help but laugh and hug into those big arms that have been doing nothing but making him smile all the time. Should he tell him that he tastes like banana milkshake? Would it ruin the moment? Meh, he'll say it another time.
