The instinct to kill... was killing him. To rip apart ... was ripping him apart. It was controlling him and guiding him, making him race through the dark forest as his senses sharpened picking upon the smell and sound. A second later, he spotted her running frantically. As he neared her, he could smell the blood. The blood of an innocent she had fed on. His fury rose and he roared to signal his pack his location. Hearing him, she stops and turns back in fear. Abhishek jumps towards her as he heard his pack roaring back to him as they approached him. He pounced on her just as he ripped her throat apart with his claws and roared loudly letting his fangs out completely. She struggles to push him off and he catches her hand and bending down he bites her letting his werewolf venom flow into her veins. He knew she would die a painful death in a few minutes with his venom in her but that didn't calm his fury or hatred against vampires and screaming out loudly he pushes his hand into her chest and rips out her heart. As she died, his pack joined him and pounced on her to rip her apart drowning down on the anguished cry of another.
Abhishek turns to the sound and sees her mate watching them rip her apart. Seeing another vampire, the killer instinct in him rose again and Abhishek jumps up and starts to chase him but in a jiffy the mate was gone. Abhishek spend the rest of the night searching for the mate.
Pragya softly hummed as she rocked Kiraat to sleep. Pragya starts yawning as her son dozed off. He had woken her up from her sleep for his milk. Seeing that he was asleep, Pragya turns off the light and turns to walk back to the bed. She checks her mobile for the time and realizes that it was time for Abhi to get back. Throwing her phone on to the bed, she walks towards the window and look out. There wasn't much movement down in the forest, but she knew clearly now what was happening inside the forest. Pragya sighs and sends up a silent prayer for her husband. It had taken her a while to sleep at night when Abhi goes to hunt Vampires. He had always come back unscathed but somewhere in her the fear for his safety was still there and she knew it would always be there. But she can never stop him from all this. It was his duty and she loved him for what he is, a hunter, a protector, a werewolf.
Pragya looks up to the sky and sees the moon shining brightly. It was a full moon. Abhi usually stays with her for a while as they gazed at the moon together remembering their old carefree childhood but today, he had gone without that, promising to come back early. She didn't stop him because she knew why he had to go; there had been a lot of animal attacks being reported in the news. The ignorant law and press called it animal attacks when in truth it was Vampires. Feeling a chill run through her, Pragya hugs herself as she waited for Abhi to get back home.
The door burst open and Pragya quickly turns back to look and sees a man enter. He had fangs. His eyes were red, not red like an Alpha's, it was blood red. Pragya's heart starts beating frantically. She steps back in fear realizing that he was neither a werewolf nor human. He was what she had been hearing about for two years now, a Vampire.
Pragya gulps in panic as she stared at the man.
"You are that Alpha's wife. Aren't you? Abhishek Prem Mehra's wife."
Pragya nods in panic hoping that would scare him.
The man advances to her and Pragya moves back in fear and she starts to scream for Abhi. He keeps his hand over her mouth crushing her jaws before a whimper could even escape.
"You are scared." He says with a smile. "I can hear your heart beating as if it would burst now."
Tears starts flowing from her eyes as fear and pain gripped her. His hold was really painful. In all the pain, her brain kept telling her not to look towards Kiraat. She didn't want his attention to move to Kiraat from her. She couldn't imagine what he would do to Kiraat. Pragya prayed hard that Kiraat doesn't wake up or that he doesn't hear Kiraat's heartbeat like he was hearing hers. Abhi had told her that a baby's heart beats were not as loud as an adult's and while sleeping it was a dull sound that one has to concentrate to hear the heartbeat of a baby. The man looked deranged; hopefully he wouldn't take the time to listen to the heart beats. She just had to stall him for a few minutes more, till Abhi got back home. Then Kiraat and she would be safe once again.
"He killed her." he tells her. "He killed my Tanu. That too for the stupid humans! He ripped her heart out. I watched him kill her. Now, I will snatch you away from him."
Abhishek walks into the house drained stopping himself from stumbling. "Pragya!" Abhishek calls out for her knowing she would be waiting for him as the last shades of moon was on the sky before sunlight took it over completely. They were supposed to see the moon together. "Pragya!" Abhishek calls her again as he climbed up the stairs and walked towards his bedroom. Not hearing any reply, he walks a little faster. Abhishek stops in front of his bedroom confused realizing something was not right. The house was a little too silent. He listens intently holding his breath and hears two faint heart beats. He pushes open the door and stops in shock seeing Pragya lying on the bed in blood.
"Pragya!" Abhishek shouts out as he moved closer to her and then stops in shock as his killer instincts took over. He wanted to kill her. He wanted to rip her apart. Without even realizing his fangs comes out. Abhishek starts to take a step towards Pragya with every intent on killing her when she faintly moans bringing him back to reality. Abhishek steps back in shock realizing what he was about to do, what had happened. Tears starts filling his eyes as his heart broke realizing that his perfect little world had been turned upside down. It was completely ruined. He had let it happen. He hadn't protected Pragya. Pragya moans again and Abhishek turns around and runs to the crib. He picks up his year-old son in his arms and holding him securely in his arms, he dashes out of the room leaving Pragya alone.
Abhishek hurries back to the room and sees Pragya slowly coming awake. All his restrain left him and his true form started coming out. He was starting to morph into a werewolf. Abhishek closes his eyes and tries to calm his mind and fight the instinct. He started reminding himself that he was Abhi, Pragya's Abhi and not an Alpha.
"Pragya..." Abhishek calls her as he moved towards her forcing himself not to wolf out.
"CHIEF!" Purab shouts as he ran into the room.
"What are you doing here?" Abhishek asks furiously as he turned to Purab. "Is Kiraat fine?"
"Yes. We are here to protect you." Purab informs him as one by one his pack members entered the room.
"You are to protect my son!" Abhishek furiously reminds them noticing them staring at Pragya and slowly transforming into wolves.
"Stay away from her." Abhishek orders them. "If anyone touches her, I will kill you all."
"She is dead." Purab softly tells him.
"She is in transition."
"She is a Vampire!" King reminds him.
"She is my wife!" Abhishek furiously screams at them.
"ARGH!" King wolves out as he started to pounce on Pragya. Abhishek grabs him midway and throws him out of his room as he took his alpha form. King quickly gets back on his feet and runs towards Pragya again. Abhishek grabs him by his neck and strangles him.
"STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE!"
"You know, we can't!" Purab argues as he started wolfing out and the killer instincts started controlling him.
"You will!" Abhishek orders them as he loosened his grip on King and King falls to the ground coughing.
"We are trained to kill vampires. We can't let her live."
"You taught us. We have to kill these killers!"
"Pragya is not a killer!"
"She needs blood to survive. For her to become a vampire, she needs to have human blood. And once she has a taste of it, she will never stop. She will kill. Don't give her blood. Without blood, she will die slowly. Let her die like this." One of them argues.
"SHE WON'T DIE!!! I'll train her. I have trained you all. I can train her."
"She might kill you first." King coughs out.
"Then she will kill me."
"We won't let her."
"Stay away from my wife."
"We kill vampires."
"From now on, we kill those who kill others." Abhishek tells them. "Now leave."
"We will wait down." Purab tells him.
"Stay down then." Abhishek tells them knowing that they won't budge. "Anyone comes near my Pragya and I'll kill them."
"We won't." King promises and amends, "As long as she doesn't hurt you or any of us."
"She won't." Abhishek replies.
Abhishek closes the door and he grabs a glass. As he walked towards Pragya, he pulls out the knife from his pocket and cuts his wrist. He holds his hand over the glass letting the blood flow into the glass. Within seconds his wound healed and he had to cut open his wrist again another three more times before he had a glass full. He sits next to Pragya, fighting his instincts as he lifted her up onto his arms.
"Pragya..." Abhishek gently calls her as he lovingly kissed her forehead ignoring the tears falling from his eyes.
"Kiraat." Pragya whispers softly.
"He is fine. He is with Khanna." Abhishek informs her and puts the glass onto her lips. "Drink this."
Smelling the blood, Pragya moves up as if a new life had come into her. With the first drop touching her lips suddenly the paralysis that had affected her all this while left her. Pragya grabs the glass and gulps it down.
"Abhi..." Pragya turns to Abhishek in panic, fear and relief. "There was a vampire here." Pragya tells him as she started crying.
"I know."
"I was so scared." Pragya tells him as she hugged him. Then she stops in shock hearing the sound of blood pumping in his heart and veins. Pragya turns to Abhishek in shock. Feeling thirsty once again she looked at the vein on his neck as she caressed it. She could feel the blood flowing there. The taste of his blood still lingering in her taste buds. She forgot everything except for the taste of his blood and the vein pumping under her finger. Pragya starts feeling the skin around her eyes tightening and canines starts aching real badly that she opened her mouth. Feeling her fangs Pragya moves towards Abhishek, aiming for his neck. She wanted his blood and nothing else. "AAA" Pragya shouts as she opened her mouth and started to bend down on his neck when Abhishek grabbed her throat and moved her face away.
"It's me, Pragya!" Abhishek screams at her as he pushed her away.
Pragya stops in shock realizing what she was about to do. She turns to Abhishek in panic. "Abhi... what is happening to me?"
"Everything is fine here." Abhishek softly mutters to his pack, hearing them running up the stairs. He waits till he hears them retreat back down. Then he turns to Pragya and calmly tells her, "Nikhil turned you into a vampire."
"Vampire?"
"It was his revenge so that I would be forced to kill you."
"I am scared." Pragya tells Abhishek as she runs to him and hugs him. "I don't want to be a vampire. I just want to be your Pragya. Please Abhi, help me. I don't want to be a vampire."
"Everything is going to be fine, Pragya." Abhishek calmly tells her.
"No, Abhi... i..." Pragya stops midsentence as her nostrils once again filled with the smell of his blood. Her fangs start coming out. Seeing that, Abhishek quickly steps back and cuts his wrist and offers her. "I am going to teach you control. You need to learn to stop. If you don't then I'll die."
Pragya seeing his wound healing, quickly bites him, ripping his skin apart and starts sucking on his blood. The wound kept healing and Pragya kept biting him to reopen it. Abhishek flinches in pain as she sucked on his blood.
"Enough, Pragya." Abhishek gently tells her. Pragya ignoring him continues to suck on him. Abhishek forcefully, lifts up his wrist so she faces him. "If you don't stop now, you'll kill me." Abhishek tells her again.
Hearing him, Pragya quickly leaves him and steps back. A moment later, she moves forward and grabbing his hand she sinks her teeth into it. Abhishek who had been expecting it gently coaxes her to leave him.
"This time you'll seriously kill me, love." Abhishek tells her. Hearing him telling her that so lovingly, Pragya stops in shock and looks at him. Seeing tears filling her eyes, Abhishek lovingly tells her, "It's okay."
"You kill me before I kill you, Abhi." Pragya tells him as she broke down into tears.
"No one is going to die."
"I don't want to be a vampire. Please Abhi... kill me."
"No, Pragya. I need you. Kiraat needs you."
"What if I kill him?"
"You won't. I am here, right. Trust me." Abhishek tells her as he hugged her.
"Do you still love me?"
"If you can love a werewolf then why can't I love a vampire?" Abhishek asks her lovingly.
"But werewolves hates vampires."
"Above that you are my Pragya and I am your Abhi."
Pragya smiles hearing that and hugs him tight.
"WOW... easy love. You are very strong now. Remember that when you take Kiraat in your arms." Abhishek tells her feeling the strong hold.
"Keep him away from me otherwise he won't be safe."
"One day, you will hold him again, Pragya." Abhishek promises her. "You want blood?"
Pragya nods her head in reply feeling thirsty again.
"This time, I won't ask you to stop. You will have to do it yourself."
Pragya nods and nervously takes his hand.
"Let your instincts guide you but be in control of yourself." Abhishek gently advices her. Pragya nods.
Feeling herself full, Pragya loses her grip on his wrist and moves back. "Done?" Abhishek asks her with a smile.
Pragya nods in reply. "Did I hurt you?"
"You did but it wasn't that painful." Abhishek replies, in truth feeling very proud of Pragya that she was able to stop because a newborn Vampire finds it difficult to stop. He knew, it was because it was him, if it was anyone else, Pragya would have killed them by now. Her love for him was stronger than the vampire that she has become.
Seeing Abhishek smile at her so lovingly, Pragya's heart suddenly burst out with so much love for him that she quickly move towards him and hug him tightly. "I love you so much, Abhi. It hurts." Pragya tells him passionately. Having her so near him suddenly, filled his nostrils with her vampire scent and his fangs and claws started coming out. Abhishek quickly controls his werewolf side, suppressing it reminding him that it is not a Vampire but his Pragya.
Abhishek softly chuckles remembering what she said and hugs her asking, "Now you understand how much I love you?"
"My feelings have become stronger?" Pragya asks him.
"Yes. And intense too. Your senses are heightened too." Abhishek tells her. "But all that later, now you rest for a while."
"But I feel energetic." Pragya tells Abhishek confused. "I feel like doing things. I don't know what. I just want to..."
Abhishek smiles hearing her and understanding her need to burn off some energy. "Okay... then let's burn some of your energy. Catch me." Abhishek tells her and in a swift, he zooms right across the room and Pragya frowns in confusion.
"I could see your movements clearly. It was not a blur like usual."
"Your senses have become stronger. You have vampire vision. Now, catch up to me." Abhishek tells her with a smile as he zoomed around the room.
Pragya feeling really excited runs in her full speed to catch him like she always does and stops in shock at her speed.
"Did you see that?" Pragya asks Abhishek surprised.
"Welcome to the world of supernatural, love." Abhishek tells her grinning.
Laughing happily Pragya runs behind Abhishek trying to catch him.
"Can you believe that?" King mutters softly.
"Shut up!" Abhishek whispers to him hearing him.
"It's training. He is showing her what all she can do." Purab tells King just as Pragya caught Abhishek laughing loudly.
"Finally." Pragya says happily as she looked at him so excitedly having caught him for the first time in two years. Abhishek smiles hearing her excitement.
Hearing his heart pumping his blood so loudly, Pragya without a thought takes his hand and bits into his wrist as her fangs came out.
Abhishek wolves out at the unexpected attack and pushes Pragya right across the room before he attacks her. Pragya looks up in shock realizing what she had done and starts to run towards him in panic. "Abhi... I am sorry... I don't know..."
"Stay away. Give me a minute." Abhishek tells her in panic as he tried to come back to his human form.
"I am so sorry, Abhi." Pragya tells him as she burst out into tears. Her pain too intense for her to bear.
Hearing his pack, Abhishek quickly runs outside his room and closes the door as he tried to stop his pack from entering his room. If even one of them wolves out and attacks Pragya, he would lose control and join him to attack Pragya.
With great difficulty, Abhishek had convinced his pack and they had gone back down while Abhishek took his time coming back to normal even though he could hear Pragya crying. Once, he was sure he had it under control, Abhishek opens the door and walks back in to see Pragya crying.
"Pragya..." Abhishek helplessly calls her seeing her cry.
"You should kill me, Abhi. I am a Vampire. I don't want to live like this. Just kill me."
"NO!" Abhishek furiously tells her as he moved towards her and lifts her up angrily. "You will not die. I will teach you to control your urges."
"I drank your blood, Abhi. I am a monster."
"You are not a monster!" Abhishek says angrily.
"I am scared. I will kill Kiraat and you."
"You won't. Because it is not in you to kill someone. You are not a killer, Pragya. You are not a monster."
"I can't control myself, Abhi."
"I will teach you, Pragya. I will train you. Trust me. Please don't give up. For me. For Kiraat." Abhishek ends with pleading her.
Seeing him upset, Pragya quickly tells him, "I won't give up, Abhi. Please don't get upset."
Abhishek smiles at her hearing her. She was still his Pragya and that is all that mattered.
"I love you so much, Abhi." Pragya tells him as she moved towards him and kisses his lips. Abhishek kisses her back.
Pragya quickly rips open his shirt as her heightened passion took over.
"You guys really should go home." Abhishek softly whispers.
"Who?" Pragya asks confused hearing him.
"Listen." Abhishek tells her with a smile.
Frowning with confusion Pragya concentrates and gasps in shock hearing the TV from downstairs.
"I think we should go." King says embarrassed.
"But what if things go out of Chief's control?" Purab asks them.
"They are going to have sex." King snaps at him exasperated.
Pragya gasps loudly clasping her hand over her mouth.
"God King!" Abhishek softly mutters.
"You want us to sit here and listen?" King asks exasperated.
"Leave." Abhishek orders them.
"But... she just turned... how can he? How can they?" Purab asks scandalized.
"Get out!" Pragya snaps outraged at how they were openly discusses their bedroom secrets. Then she gasps in shock at her sudden outburst.
"It's your heightened feelings." Abhishek gently tells her.
"You don't need us here?" Purab asks.
"Of course not!" Abhishek snaps at him.
"Fine!"
"Please check on Kiraat." Pragya quickly tells them.
"You don't worry. We will watch him." Purab promises her.
"Thank you."
"I'll come by Khanna's house later." Abhishek tells them.
"Okay... take care." King tells them slightly worried.
"Why were they here?" Pragya asks Abhishek after everyone had left realizing the whole pack was in their house.
"To protect me." Abhishek informs her.
"They wanted to kill me?" Pragya asks him upset over the thought that the people she had come to consider as her brothers wanted to kill her.
"They were worried for Kiraat, me and the people of this town. They are trained like that."
"Even you." Pragya says understanding their feelings. Even she wanted to kill herself.
"No one is going to kill anyone. You are going to pull through this and they are going to come around."
Pragya nods and hugs Abhishek.
"Abhi, I am thirsty again." Pragya tells him worriedly.
"You are a newborn vampire, Pragya. It is normal. It takes a while for it all to settle. Here, drink." Abhishek tells her as he offers her his wrist.
"Pragya... whatever happens never bite me on my neck." Abhishek instructs Pragya. "My venom is stored there. Even a drop gets into your body, you will die. So be careful always."
Pragya nods her head in reply.
"And make sure, sunlight doesn't fall on you."
"I will get burned." Pragya finishes for him having heard about Vampires from him for the last two years, she knew almost everything about vampires.
After Pragya had her fill, Pragya releases her hold on his hand and turns to look at him. Abhishek smiles at her happily.
"Why are you smiling?" Pragya asks him confused. "I was drinking your blood."
"I am just happy that you are alive, Pragya. He could have killed you but instead he turned you."
"So you would kill me." Pragya tells him.
"Yes... at times I have to fight myself to not attack you but still I am happy that you are with me."
Pragya smiles at him and hugs him tight. "I love you, Abhi."
Abhishek leans down and takes her lips in his.
Abhishek and Pragya chuckle at the broken bed and the mess they had created while making love.
"Wow that was..." Pragya says amazed.
"So that is what it feels like to make love to a supernatural." Abhishek jokes about the amazing sex they had.
"Finally one good thing about being a vampire."
"Why it was not good before?" Abhishek teases her
"It was perfect but now it is better than perfect."
Abhishek chuckles hearing that. Pragya takes his hand and bites into it.
"You won't die if I feed on you, right?"
"I won't. I might fall weak but my heart would pump the blood and replace it quickly." Abhishek tells her.
"Even if I lose control you won't die."
"I won't but I wanted you to learn to control." Abhishek explains to her.
"I am actually dead." Pragya states sadly.
"Yes." Abhishek agrees becoming serious.
"We can never have any more babies." Pragya tells him sadly.
"We have Kiraat."
"I miss him." Pragya tells Abhishek sadly.
"I will bring him back home when you are ready."
"What if I never get ready?" Pragya asks him worriedly.
"You will, love." Abhishek tells her and then turning to her he tells her with a smile, "Now don't forget, you have forever."
"But you don't have forever." Pragya tells him sadly.
"I age slowly. Kiraat will grow faster than me if he doesn't activate his werewolf genes."
"If you die then I die." Pragya tells Abhishek.
"Then what about Kiraat?"
"You are not going to die soon. I meant old age."
"Ah!" Abhishek smiles. "Okay."

"I want to see Kiraat." Pragya tells Abhishek the next morning.
"You are not ready, Pragya."
"I don't care. I want to see my baby. I have to see him, Abhi!" Pragya says in stubborn desperation.
"I can understand, Pragya... your heightened feelings..."
"Don't talk about Vampirism! I want my baby!" Pragya says furiously. "He would be missing me... It's been hours since I saw my baby. I want to see him NOW!" Pragya says as her fangs came out and her eyes turned blood red in fury.
"You can't control yourself!"
"If you don't bring him here then I will go to Khanna's house!" Pragya says furiously. "He might have not slept last night."
"Fine... I will bring him here." Abhishek promises her. "But stay in the room till I come back."
"Okay."
A while later, Abhishek comes back into the room.
"Where is he?" Pragya asks him frantically as she glided towards him. "He is here... I can hear him." Pragya says happily hearing Kiraat and starts to run towards him when Abhishek stops her.
"Before that, I want you to feed." Abhishek tells her as he offered his hand. Without a word, Pragya bites into his wrist and sucks his blood knowing that it is for their baby's safety.
"Kiraat!" Pragya says happily as she ran down and sees Kiraat with King and Purab.
"You sure?" King asks Abhishek worriedly.
Abhishek nods his head as he stood next to Pragya.
"Careful, Pragya." King gently instructs her as he handed the baby over to her.
Pragya nods and takes Kiraat in her hand. She hugs him lightly knowing that she would hurt him if she put pressure. She kisses him happily while he gurgled happily at her.
"My baby... did you miss Mama?" Pragya asks as she kissed him loudly on his cheek.
Pragya was suddenly hit by a very tempting alluring scent of blood. Her mouth started watering and her fangs threatened to come out. Quickly thrusting Kiraat into Abhishek's hand, Pragya runs up ignoring Kiraat crying for her.
"Pragya..." Abhishek walks in after her and sees Pragya looking shaken.
"I was going to kill him." Pragya says looking pale.
"You didn't."
"I wanted to drink his blood, Abhi." Pragya tells him frantically as she broke into tears.
"But you didn't."
"Don't you understand? I wanted to. I am a monster." Pragya tells him furiously.
"But you didn't, Pragya." Abhishek reasons with her as he lovingly wiped away her tears. "That is all that matters. You controlled. Very soon you will be able to hold him without wanting to feed on him."
"The scent of his blood was sweeter than yours." Pragya tells him worriedly.
"Because he is human and I am a werewolf. It is your natural inclination to feed on humans, Pragya but you can survive on werewolf blood too."
"I don't want to survive like that." Pragya argues angrily. "What kind of a life is this? To survive I have to drink your blood? That I have to fight the urge to kill my son. I don't want an existence like that. Please Abhi... just kill me." Pragya pleads him.
"How many times did I tell you that you are not going to die on me?" Abhishek furiously shouts at her.
"Calm down... she is experiencing a lot many things." King furiously snaps at Abhishek. "Try to understand her."
"You saw how she didn't attack Kiraat... just explain to her that she can do it." Purab tells Abhishek.
Pragya stops in shock hearing King and Purab supporting her, the very people who wanted to kill her the day before.
"See! Even they have realized that you can do this." Abhishek argues with Pragya. "And you two need to stop listening in on our conversations!" Abhishek snaps at them.
Pragya looks at Abhishek helplessly then hugging him she cries, "I am so scared, Abhi. I don't want to be a Vampire."
"I understand, love. But you got to fight for me, please."
Pragya just hugs Abhishek tightly in reply while Abhishek continued to struggle with himself to not wolf out on her.

"Is he drinking that milk?" Pragya asks Abhishek worriedly. "He hated it when I tried to give him that."
"He is having that when he gets hungry. Don't worry, he will get used to that soon."
Pragya nods sadly then getting up she walks towards the window and looks out at the night.
"Isn't it strange?" Pragya asks Abhishek.
"What?" Abhishek asks her as he walked towards her and hugged her from behind.
"You were so fascinated by the moon and now you have become a slave to the moon and I always found the sun beautiful and now I am a slave to the sun."
"I am not a slave to the moon." Abhishek tells her.
"You have no control over yourself on full moon."
"Yes... but I would like to think of it as that during the full moon I come into my full strength. That I draw my strength from the moon." Abhishek explains to her.
"Hmmm."
"And you being a slave to the sun, I have sent Suresh to track down a witch. If what we have heard is true then Vampires' can walk in the sun with a daylight ring. If there is something like that then I am going to find that for you." Abhishek promises her.
Pragya turning around hugs Abhishek tightly as she smiled in gratitude, "Thanks for not giving upon me."
"If you had gave upon us then we wouldn't be here now, Pragya. So thanks to you for fighting for us." Abhishek tells her remembering the time he had tried to push her away.
"I couldn't live without you."
"And I can't live without you. All my life, I have loved you. I can't think of a moment when you are not there. I breathe because you are breathing."
Pragya smiles at him amazed yet again thinking how she could ever believe his lie that he was seeing other girls. The one quality that every single werewolf possessed was loyalty.
"So please don't ever talk about wanting to die again."
"I won't." Pragya promises him determined to fight her vampire instincts.
Abhishek hugs her tight.
Hearing his mobile ring, he parts from her and answers the call seeing that it is his father.
"Dad?"
"Abhi... I am coming there... I want to see her. I want to make sure she is fine." Tej says frantically.
"Dad... I told you... I am training, Pragya... give me time... I will let you meet her when she is ready."
"She is my baby, Abhi!" Tej tells Abhishek helplessly.
Pragya's eyes fill with tears hearing Tej. Tej had always loved her more than he loved Abhishek.
"I understand, Dad... but it is not safe yet for you to see her."
"Give me the phone." Pragya tells Abhishek.
"Daddyji..."
"Pragya... How are you my bachcha?"
"I am fine, Daddyji... I am just trying to control all these emotions and hunger. It's like I am having an extreme case of mood swings. But I am fine... you don't come now. I will see you soon."
"Okay... you take care and don't worry, everything would be fine." Tej tells her and shortly after he hangs up the phone.
Pragya sighs sadly as she hugged Abhishek. "You shouldn't have told him."
"You know, I can't hide anything from him." Abhishek tells her as he hugged her trying his best to control his urges to fight her.
"I know." Pragya says as she sighs. After the accident, Abhi had only Daddyji to confide in, and he had become Abhi's best friend and confidant.
"Abhi, I am thirsty." Pragya tells him feeling the need to feed take form.
Without a word, Abhishek offers her his hand.

A month later, Pragya was sitting in their room when Abhishek comes running in happily.
"It's here." Abhishek tells her smiling as he showed her, her mangalsutra.
Pragya smiles in relief. She was getting tired of sitting inside with all the curtains closed during the day. It has been a long time since she saw daylight.
Abhishek puts her mangalsutra around her neck, since that was the only jewellery, Pragya wore every single day of her life, and they had decided to make that her daylight ring.
"Do you think it will work?" Pragya asks him apprehensively.
"There is only one way to find out." Abhishek tells her and leads her to the window. "You ready?" Abhishek asks her nervously.
Pragya nods her head. Abhishek takes her hand and parting the curtains a quarter of an inch, he gently puts her finger out. Then both of them start smiling realizing her finger was not on fire.
"It's working." Pragya says smiling happily as she hugged Abhishek. Abhishek hugs her back no longer having the urge to attack her, he had it completely under control.
"Want to go out?" Abhishek asks her happily.
"Yes." Pragya says smiling excitedly.
Holding Pragya's hand, Abhishek takes her out of the room but instead of the stairs to go down, he takes the stairs up to the roof.
"Where are we going?" Pragya asks curiously. "I want to go out."
"You will." Abhishek tells her excitedly and takes her to the roof.
The moment they step out on the roof, Pragya takes in a deep breath feeling the fresh air and sun on her. "I missed this." Pragya tells Abhishek happily.
Abhishek takes Pragya towards the edge of the roof and Pragya laughs in excitement. How much ever times he takes her down like this, she will never grow tired of this.
Pragya happily starts to take his hand when Abhishek takes his hand away. "Jump." Abhishek tells Pragya.
"What?" Pragya asks him shocked.
"Jump." Abhishek tells her again.
Pragya looks down and panics. "I don't think I can." Pragya says worriedly.
"You can." Abhishek tells her just as he pushed her. Pragya screams as she falls down and Abhishek jumps along with her.
"Land on your feet." Abhishek instructs her just as she was about to reach the ground. Pragya with all her might forces her leg to hold straight and land on her feet. Surprisingly, she lands on her feet with a thud.
"I DID IT!" Pragya tells Abhishek excitedly as he landed next to her.
Abhishek smiles at her happily.
"Once more." Pragya tells Abhishek excitedly and starts to run inside to go back up when Abhishek holds her hand. "Jump."
Feeling confident, Pragya starts grinning excitedly and then with all her might she jumps aiming for the rooftop. She flies off the air with a whooping laughter and she lands on the roof.
Pragya turns back to look at Abhishek and sees him grinning at her from down. Then he with two fingers gestures her to come down and Pragya without a thought jumps down laughing loudly.
"I want to climb trees." Pragya tells Abhishek excitedly.

"Pragya..." Abhishek calls her as he walked into the room and sees Pragya pampering Kiraat over video call.
"I can bring him home." Abhishek tells Pragya. "Every time I go to see him, he asks for you."
"No, he is not safe here." Pragya tells Abhishek and then continues to play with Kiraat. "You wanted something?"
"Yes. Call me when you are done." Abhishek tells her as he started to walk out.
"Almost done... he is falling asleep."
"Come to training ground then after that." Abhishek instructs her and walks out.
Pragya comes down after Kiraat had slept and joins the pack. They all smile at her though somewhere still hesitant and some even closing their eyes fighting their urge to attack her.
"I am going to train Pragya to fight." Abhishek informs his pack. He and Pragya had already discussed on this.
"You are going to train her?" Akhil asks shocked. "To attack werewolves?"
"To protect herself. She was defenseless once, not anymore." Abhishek tells them sternly.
"I'll hunt vampires along with you." Pragya informs the pack. "I have spent sleepless night not knowing what was happening to Abhi when he goes to hunt Vampires, but now when I am strong and I can help him, I will."
"But not till she is ready." Abhishek informs the pack. "Now, I am going to train her. King and Purab, I want you both inside while the rest would watch from outside."
King and Purab nods their head while rest moves out to the fence to take their seat."
"I have it under control but still if I lose it and starts to harm Pragya then you guys would intervene. Same goes if she loses control and attacks me." Abhishek tells them and they nod.
Turning to Pragya, he tells her, "Never take your eyes off your opponent. At the same time, take in their scent and listen to every single sound."
Pragya nods her head hearing him.
"Let's work on your hearing first. Keep your eyes closed and I will keep going around you and you have to tell me which side I am on." Abhishek tells her and Pragya closes her eyes. Abhishek swiftly moves to her right and nods at King.
"Where is he?" King asks Pragya.
"I didn't hear anything." Pragya says confused. Pragya was about to open her eyes to look for Abhishek when she goes flying and lands on the ground with Abhishek on top of her.
Abhishek grabs her hands and holds it behind her making Pragya gasps in pain. "Your first lesson, always keep your eyes open during hunts." Abhishek tells her.
"But you told me to close my eyes." Pragya says irately as she tried to push him off her.
"Second lesson, don't trust your opponent."
"I thought we were training." Pragya argues as she struggled.
"We are and finally, you are fighting supernatural, they can move without making a sound, so you need to really strain to hear them." Abhishek tells her and gets up. Offers his hand to help her up. Pragya holds his hand and starts to get up and just as quickly she pushes him with all her might. Abhishek goes flying back at the unexpected attack and falls down with a thud. Pragya quickly moves towards him and straddles him before he could even sit up. "Never help your opponent." Pragya instructs Abhishek.
Abhishek looks at Pragya in amazement and Pragya winks at him. Seeing that Abhishek starts laughing loudly as he pulled her down and kissed her soundly on her cheek.
Abhishek continues to train Pragya and having lived with each other for the last month, they had got used to having the other around so neither of them lost their control.

"It's time that, you all started training with Pragya." Abhishek tells his pack one day.
"Is that a good idea?" Purab asks worriedly.
"We will do one by one. And I think it would be good training to make you fight a vampire." Abhishek tells them.
"How do I kill a vampire?" Pragya asks Abhishek.
"Why?"
"So I can help you kill during the hunt."
"Since vampires don't come out during the daytime, they are safe from the sun. if a vampire with daylight ring comes then removing it would do but we don't know which is his daylight right and we never had a vampire during the daytime. So other than that, five ways. First and the most easily, werewolf bite. Second a wooden stake to the heart. Third ripping their heart out. Fourth, fire but then we fight them in the forest, so it is not advised." Abhishek explains to her.
"And fifth?" Pragya asks curiously.
"Hmmm fifth..." Abhishek starts and then in the blink of an eye he jumps on her and wrapping his hand around her neck with the other holding her hair. "I rip the head off."
"Wow... that is messy."
"It is." Abhishek tells her as he kissed her cheek and gently caressed her head. "Any more questions?"
"No... let's kick some werewolf asses." Pragya says as she turned to look at the pack with a grin.
Abhishek chuckles hearing her, ever since Pragya had turned, she has kinda become a badass.
Since Akhil was the oldest werewolf among them, it meant he had more control over his temper, so he was the first one to train with Pragya.
"No need to go easy on her." Abhishek tells Akhil.
"I won't." Akhil tells Abhishek and swiftly moves in to attack Pragya and Pragya quickly steps aside and catches him from behind shocking Akhil.
"WOW!" Akhil says in amazement as he struggled to free from her hold. "She is so strong."
"Stronger than a normal vampire." Abhishek says smiling.
"Why is that?" Pragya asks curiously.
"Maybe because you feed on an alpha instead of humans." Abhishek tells her shrugging.
"You mean, she is getting stronger from your blood?" King asks curiously.
"Possible." Abhishek tells them.
"So, she can really kick some werewolf asses?" King asks surprised.
"Wanna go two at a time?" Pragya asks as she kicked Akhil to the ground.

Hearing Kiraat's voice, Pragya runs to the living room in shock. "Kiraat?" Pragya calls him and hears him laughing happily.
"I brought him home." Abhishek tells her as he rocked him back and forth.
"Have you gone crazy?" Pragya asks him angrily as she darted glances at Kiraat who had his hands stretched out for her.
"You are ready, Pragya."
"I am not." Pragya argues as she looks away from Kiraat fighting her motherly instincts to take him in her arms.
"You are ready." Abhishek tells her as he offered her Kiraat. Pragya quickly moves away from him.
Chuckling Abhishek keeps Kiraat on his mat. "Happy reunion, Pragya."
"Where are you going?" Pragya asks him in panic seeing him heading out.
"It's full moon, love. Bye Kiraat." Abhishek says as he kisses him.
"Abhi you can't leave me alone with him. It is dangerous." Pragya tells him as she tried to stop Abhishek.
"There is no other way you would take this step, Pragya." Abhishek tells her and quickly runs out.
Pragya turns to Kiraat and he was crawling towards her. Pragya holding her breath quickly puts him on his crib and ignoring his outraged scream for her, she turns on TV. He quickly gets distracted and watches TV. Pragya closing all the doors, and making sure he is safe, quickly runs up to her room and locks the door. Once she was inside her room, she starts breathing. She could still get the alluring scent of his blood and hear his heart pumping but she controlled herself as she sat in her room, listening to him and every little sound to make sure he is fine.
Pragya hears a second heart beating along with Kiraat crying in outrage and she hears someone lifting him up from the crib. Pragya runs out of their room to check on him hoping that it was one of the pack coming to check on him. She steps out of her room and sees the living room empty with the TV running. Pragya looks around and sees a window open, she quickly runs out through the window as she sniffed in. She tracks Kiraat's smell as she ran into the forest ignoring the wolves howling, blocking out them to concentrate on Kiraat. She picks on a new scent, panicking, she screams out to Abhishek, "Abhi, someone got Kiraat."
Picking on Nikhil's and Kiraat's scent, Abhishek runs through the forest as his pack spread out to form a circle to trap Nikhil. Abhishek started praying hard to keep Kiraat safe, he failed Pragya, he couldn't fail Kiraat too.
As the scent got stronger, Abhishek ran faster realizing that Nikhil was not moving. And within seconds he finds Nikhil with Kiraat struggling in his arms. Seeing Abhishek, Kiraat quickly puts his hand forward.
"One step and I will break his neck." Nikhil warns Abhishek.
Abhishek stops and tells him, "Let him go."
"You killed my Tanu."
"She was a vampire."
"Then how come your wife is still breathing?" Nikhil asks him furiously.
"Let go off my son. If anything happens to him, I will kill you." Abhishek furiously tells him just as his pack reached them circling around them.
"You will never get out of here." Abhishek tells Nikhil.
"Maybe but I still have your son."
The pack growls furiously hearing him and Abhishek gestures them to calm down.
"What do you want?" Abhishek furiously asks him.
"Kill your wife and I let him go." Nikhil tells him.
"I will kill you before that." Abhishek tells him furiously.
"Before you can get to me, I will kill your son. It's your choice your wife or your son. I am prepared to die but you will be punished for killing my Tanu before that."
Abhishek takes a step forward and Nikhil tightens his hold on Kiraat. "No."
Abhishek helplessly steps back.
"So who would it be wife or kid?" Nikhil asks him menacingly.
Abhishek looks around as he thought of a way to get Kiraat safely away from him. Once Kiraat is safe then he would deal with Nikhil. For attacking Pragya and now for touching Kiraat.
Abhishek was standing helplessly with his heart slamming against his chest with worry for his son and fury at Nikhil.
"It's nice to hear your heart beating in fear." Nikhil says smiling happily.
Abhishek growls in fury and then stops in shock as he got the scent that he loved the most. He slyly looks around and sees Pragya jumping on to trees quickly. Abhishek prepared to move fast realizing her intend.
"You leave my son and walk away from here else I will rip your heart out." Abhishek furiously roars to Nikhil to drown out Pragya's heartbeats so Nikhil doesn't hear her and with Kiraat screaming on top of his voice, Abhishek was sure he was drowning out Pragya's sound. The whole pack surrounding him, it was mighty impossible for Nikhil to realize that one of the scent was Pragya's.
"Let's see you do tha..." Nikhil stops in shock as Pragya lands on his shoulders and swinging her leg quickly around his neck, she grips his neck and grabs his hair. Screaming loudly, she starts pulling his head to rip it apart while Nikhil starts shaking around to dislodge her, loosening his grip on Kiraat. Abhishek expecting that, jumps in and grabs Kiraat. Kiraat clings on to Abhishek tired after all the crying. Abhishek cradles Kiraat with one hand and then with the other, he pushes his hand into Nikhil's chest and grabs his heart. As his fist closed in on Nikhil's heart, he sees the horror stricken face on Nikhil and pulls his heart out. Seeing that Nikhil was dead, Pragya quickly jumps off him as he falls down. Then turning to Abhishek, she quickly grabs Kiraat and hugs him tight as the pack jumped on Nikhil.
"Ssshh... it's okay, my baby." Pragya coos as she hugged him to her chest. "I am so sorry, I left you alone."
Kiraat quickly hugs Pragya and rests his head on her chest. Pragya turns to Abhishek and tells him with tears, "I am sorry. I panicked and left him alone."
"It's okay, luv." Abhishek says as he hugged them both.
"Are you going to be okay?" Purab asks Pragya as he pointed to Kiraat.
"Yeah, I am fine." Pragya says smiling realizing that even though Kiraat's smell was too strong, she wanted to feed but she wasn't going to. She could control. Pragya starts laughing in relief realizing that Abhi was right, she was ready.
Abhishek smiles at her. "Finally he is coming home."
"Our family is back to perfect." Pragya says happily.
"Good... we will take care of him. You guys carry on." King tells them pointing at Nikhil.
"Let's go." Pragya says happily as she grabbed Abhishek with one hand and held on to Kiraat the other she starts running. Abhishek runs with her as they dodged the branches and climbed on to the tree letting her lead. Feeling the wind on his face, Kiraat starts laughing happily as he blinked due to the cool wind. Pragya and Abhishek laughs happily seeing their son so happy. Pragya climbs up to the tallest tree, the one Abhishek had taken two years ago. Standing on top of the now taller tree, they look around Motihari. Closing her eyes, Pragya enjoyed the feel of the first ray of the sun on her face then Pragya turns to Abhishek and holding Kiraat tight to her chest, she says "Welcome to our world."
