Wow, haha this took forever! I'm pretty happy with it though, and I thank you for being so patient! Let me know what you think through a like and/or comment. Enjoy!

"Bedrest? Are you kidding me?" I exclaimed, loudly voice my opposition to the discussion. I stared at the people across from me, those people being Yukio, my father, and Bon. All three of them seemed to deflate at my words, Bon even going as far as to smack his own forward and shake his head. I glared at the five of them, angry with them and angry with myself. "I'm fine now," I said. "Really!" I tried to convince them. None of them looked impressed.

"(Y/N)," Yukio, began as he took off his glasses and cleaned them when his shirt. "I understand that you feel better, and your vitals have improved, but you just can't be cleared yet," he said. I slumped against myself, the first part of his speech bringing me a little bit of hope only for it to be crushed in just a few words. "You've never experienced a seizure before and because we don't know exactly why you had one or how to predict one, we can't release you just yet." Anger began to churn in my stomach.

"So you're telling me that I'm just going to have to sit here in this hospital bed until we figure out what is wrong with me?" I snapped, glaring at the young doctor. "A demon caused my seizure! That's it! There's nothing we can do to stop it except for killing that bastard. And how the hell am I supposed to do anything about that if I'm cooped up in a hospital bed? Tell me that!" I snapped. "And everyone has been promising me that we're going to get through this and that my life is going to go back to the way things were to before, back to normal. How many months has it been? How many months has it been of me being scared for my life, scared that Ishida is going to kill me in my sleep? People keep promising me that this is going to be fixed but nothing has changed! If anything, it's only gotten worse!" I was breathing heavily at the end of my little rant and tears were streaming down my face.

Yukio sighed. Ryuji came over and sat next to me on my bed, pushing my hair away from my face as he rubbed my back with one hand. My father came over and sat down by my feet, putting a hand on my leg.  "I know how frustrating this can be, (Y/N). I know that you feel powerless. And I know that many things have been promised to you, (Y/N), and trust me, we are working on it. We all want to see you out of this. We all want to see you safe," he said. I nodded knowing he was right, furiously wiping the tears away. Bon brushed my hands out of the way and placed his hands on my cheeks, taking over the cleaning of my face.

"I'm sorry," I gasped out through my tears. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell. I'm sorry," I said as I pushed my boyfriend's hands away so that I could cover my face with my own hands.

"It's okay, (Y/N)," I heard Ryuji say in that deep baritone voice of his. "No one's mad at you. We know you're frustrated," he soothed, running his hand over the top of my head to smooth my hair back.

"I'll come and check on you after classes, (Y/N)," I heard the young doctor say before I heard his footsteps retreating before the door closed softly. A hand came up and squeezed my knee.

"Are you going to be okay, kiddo?" I heard my father ask. I nodded and wiped my face once more so that I could look at the red-haired man. There was a soft frown on his face as he looked at me. He glanced down at his watch, cursing softly under his breath. "I have to get back to the shop, sweetheart. Will you be okay if I leave? Or do you want me to stay?" he asked, his voice soft and soothing. I was conflicted. I really did want him to stay, but I knew I would be okay, and I knew that he had other obligations.

"I'll be okay, dad," I said with a sniffle. He didn't look too convinced. "I promise; I'll be okay." He took a deep breath, seemingly having an inner battle with himself.

"Only if you're sure," he said, an eyebrow raised. I nodded, giving him a small smile and a thumbs up. This caused him to laugh slightly, his small frown being replaced by a small smile. "You call me if you need anything, you hear?" he said, wagging a finger at me. My smile grew.

"I will, dad. I promise," I assured him. He looked at me for a moment before standing. He bent over and pressed a lingering kiss to my forehead.

"I love you, (Y/N)," my father said, running a hand over my head.

"Love you too, daddy," I said, my voice small. He smiled sadly before hesitantly leaving the room, leaving Ryuji and me alone. We didn't say anything for a few minutes, just sitting in the silence, the only sound being of our collective breathing.

Silently, Ryuji shuffled into the bed next to me, putting an around my back and pulling me closer to him. I put my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat inside his powerful chest. One of my hands came up to his chest, grabbing a section of his shirt to hold on to. Strong, lithe fingers began to run through my hair, gentle getting rid of the knots that resided there.

We remained in silence, and I was hoping that I would be able to sleep, but sleep didn't come easily. I was wide awake. I was tired of laying in a bed, unable to do anything to help my case.

"What are you thinking about?" Ryuji said, his deep voice breaking the silence gently. I looked up at him, confused. "You're scowling again," he explained, a soft smile tugging at the corners on his lips. I couldn't help but smile. I used the hand on his chest to push me up so that my face was level with his.

"I guess you'll never know," I said, a smirk on my face. He only shook his head and let out a soft chuckle. "I'm just thinking about my wonderful boyfriend," I said, but I couldn't help but let out a laugh. I couldn't be seductive even if I tried.

"You're hopeless," Bon said through a laugh.

"No, I have you; that's far from hopeless," I said truthfully. This made him smile. I leaned up and planted a soft kiss on his lips which he readily accepted. When I tried to pull away, a hand came to my back as he continued to lean forward, trying to get closer. I turned my face away, laughing, his stubble itchy on my soft skin but then realized my mistake. The boy immediately attacked my neck with soft butterfly kisses.

"Ryuji Suguro, you better not leave another you-know-what," I warned, too embarrassed to say the word. "I can't hide it in this stupid gown," I said, referring to the stiff, paper-like gown the hospital required its patients to wear during their stay. He huffed against my skin but nodded. I sighed in slight relief only to gasp when he spoke again.

"You might want to invest in a turtleneck," he mumbled against my skin, his lips teasing my skin in warming. "Maybe even a few." I could feel him smirking against my neck.

"Ryuji!" I snapped, my face heating up violently. I smacked him on the back several times causing him to laugh heartily.

"Ow, okay okay, I won't," he said, still laughing all the while. I pulled my arms away from him, crossing my arms over my chest, pouting at the boy. He mimicked my pout, and I couldn't help but laugh. "You know I'm just teasing," he murmured under his breath, slowly inching his face back toward mine. "It's part of my job," he said, his lips close enough to brush mine. I smiled and pressed my lips fully against his, and he kissed back eagerly. The kiss was slow and soft and full of love. I gripped the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer. It didn't have the fire that some of our kisses had, but I had to say, I preferred these slow, sensual kisses better.

A vaguely heard a knock on the door but I was too enthralled in the kiss to think rationally. Someone cleared their throat behind us, and I jumped away from my boyfriend with a gasp. There, standing in the doorway, was my old evening nurse, a smirk on her face and her hands on her hips. "Still going strong you too?" she asked, a teasing tone to her voice. This caused my face to go bright red as I hid it in the crook of Ryuji's neck. "I heard the nurse chuckle softly. "You have two visitors," the nurse announced, and I looked up in confusion. "Two men by the names of Arthur Auguste Angel and Lewin Light; they said they want to talk to you." I looked at Bon to see his gaze had hardened. "Should I send them in or tell them to come back another time?" she asked politely. I looked at Ryuji for a moment before turning back to the nurse.

"Send them in," I said, my voice stiff. She nodded and left the room, leaving us in tense silence. I settled back down next to my boyfriend on the bed as I waited for the two men to enter the room. Soon enough, too soon for my liking, the paladin and his right hand entered the room, their faces revealing no emotion.

"Good evening, (Y/N)," Angel began extending a hand to me and shaking my hands before moving to shake Ryuji's. My boyfriend's lips were set in a firm line as he stared down the men in front of him. "How are you feeling, Miss (L/N)?" he asked politely.
"I think we should skip the formalities," I said stiffly. The blonde man nodded as he sat down in a chair next to the bed, Lightning moving to stand behind him.

"Indeed," he said through a sigh. "We might as well get right to the point," he offered, and I nodded. "You lied straight to the paladin as well as the rest of the Order about highly dangerous weapons," he began.

"He held me at gunpoint and then threatened to kill my best friend!" I shouted, pointing at the man standing behind the blonde. Angel sighed and held up a hand, but I wasn't having any of that. "No! Don't you tell me to be quiet! You have no right to tell me to be quiet. I don't care who the hell you are or what position you hold because you lowered yourself to the status of that man with one action!" None of the men said anything. Ryuji's hand was on my waist, rubbing soothing circles in my skin while Angel and Lightning remained temporarily stunned. I didn't even think to apologize; I was only calling them out of their bullcrap. I was only telling the truth.

Angel seemed to recover first, and he cleared his throat as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yes, Miss (L/N). You are correct about all of that," Angel relented. "And we have come to formally apologize for our actions as well as try to understand more about these demons you control," he explained, his voice soft and truthful. "Because there were secrets being kept, we could only assume you were working with someone. In cases such as these, we assume the worst so that we can prepare if those assumptions prove to be true," I nodded, understanding the reasoning for his actions, but it didn't make me any happier about it. "Though you did lie straight to the paladin and the Order, after hearing some of the explanation from Mephisto, we have chosen to forget your transgressions." It felt like a million pounds of pressure had been lifted from my shoulders at his words, and I couldn't help but let out of a sigh of relief as I let myself relax against my boyfriend.

"Now, Miss (L/N), we need you to explain what exactly is going on," Angel directed. I opened my mouth to argue, but he held up a hand to stop me. "Yes, I am aware that this is a secret passed down through generations in your family, but there has never been an issue quite like this one since the swords were stolen. Is that correct?" I nodded hesitantly, unable to argue with the facts. "Because your life is being threatened by a force we don't understand and have never faced before, the Order needs to step in. I understand you were trying to keep as many people out of as possible as to not endanger them," he said, an eyebrow raising. It should have been a question, but it came out as more of a statement. "We understand your unwillingness to bring people into this problem, but this is a force greater than you and your family can handle on your own. The Order only wishes to keep you safe as well as other people. We understand the risk and are willing to help; a task force is being put together as we speak. We just need you to give us some more information."

I didn't know what to say for a moment. I leaned back against Bon more, looking at my hands which were intertwined with his bigger hands. "What do you think?" Bon asked, his voice soft and right in my ear. I was silent for a moment before nodded.
"Yeah. I think this is our only option," I said truthfully.

"I'm glad you can trust us, (Y/N)," Angel said, his voice soft. "Now, do you mind if we begin now? I want to get you out of this nightmare as soon as possible," he explained, and I nodded. "Alright, can you give us a brief history of the Sister Swords please?"

For the next half an hour, Angel and Lightning took turns asking questions, and I answered them fully and truthfully, Bon helping every now and then. I was spilling generations of secrets, but every word that I spoke left like another pound lifted off my shoulders. I knew they could help, and if spilling secrets got me out of this hellish nightmare, then I would spill every secret I had to give.

Our conversation was interrupted by a shrill ringing that had Angel tapping the device on his ear. "This is Angel," he said. It was silent for a moment as Angel listened to the person on the other end of the line. The longer we waited, the darker Angel's face became. "Okay. We'll be there as soon as we can," he snapped before ending the call. He stood up from his chair, motioning for Lightning to follow his lead. "Ishida's been sighted on campus," Angel said bluntly. My chest seized in worry. "I'll have your room guarded by my finest man. Thank you for all your help, (Y/N). We'll call if we need any other information," he said as he made his way toward the door. He paused in the doorway. "Don't worry, (Y/N). We'll keep you safe from this monster." With that, both men disappeared through the doorway.

We were left in a stunned silence. Neither of us knew what to say. I opened my mouth to speak, but I was quickly cut off by a pull in my gut. I could suddenly feel a calling from Katsuro and Kitiara. Feeling compelled, I called on the two demons and they appeared in the room of a flash of light. They both stood at the end of my bed, looking more fierce and threatening than I have ever seen.

"We feel him," Katsuro said, wasting no time getting straight to the point. "It's Kaage. He's close," he informed me. I nodded, removing myself from my boyfriend's arms from my waist.

"What are you doing?" Ryuji gasped as I ripped the IV out of the back of my hand as well as the monitors on my chest, causing the machines to go silent. "Lay back down, you idiot! What the hell do you think you're doing?" he asked as I grabbed my clothes that were sitting on the bench across from the foot of my bed, slipping them on quickly.

"I'm not going to sit here when the enemy is at my front door and there's something I can do about it." I turned back to look at my boyfriend, fire in my eyes. "Don't try to stop me," I snapped, afraid he would try and keep me from doing what I needed to do. He grabbed my hand, squeezing it tightly.

"I won't, but let me come with you." I gave him a smile and a nod. Katsuro and Kitiara gave us cover in the means of a distraction, so Ryuji and I could slip out undetected. Soon, the two demons were once again my my side as they led the way toward Kaage and Ishida.
