Yuki's POV
I woke up early in the morning then I clean myself up, I wore my school uniform. After that I grab my case, then I head to the station a bit early.
After a 1 hour train, I finally arrived in Nighteye Agency...
"Yuki, you're here early" Uncle Mirai said
"it's bet to be early. I'm always in time" I said
"put your costume on, you're going on patrol" he order
"Yes Sir!"
After that I head to the changing room then I put my uniform inside the locker, then I wore my hero costume... after that I came out from the changing room.
"oh, Yuki you're here early"
I turn "Togata? Is that your hero costume, pretty cool" I complimented
"thanks"
Then we proceed to the office
"today is patrol and surveillance. We'll split into pairs. Bubble Girl and myself. Mirio and Yuki" Uncle explain
"surveillance, what are you guys investigating?" I ask
"the Nighteye agency is currently conducting a secret investigation" Bubble Girl said
"a small designated villain organization called Shie Hassaikai" Uncle said then he showed a photo "their leader, a man named Kai Chisaki has demonstrated some unusual movements."
Then I look at the photo
"Yakuza members, huh? I remember you taught me all about all the kinds of villains, Sir Nighteye" I said "since the ages all the villains ther're all one, until Dad showed up they started to disband into groups..."
"I'm impress that you remember the short lessons I gave you" Uncle said then he fixed his glasses up.
"because of that massive demolition of their world in the past... but this Chisaki individual has started assembling those guys together again" Bubble Girl explain "and recently made contact with the League of Villains. We have no details about what transpire, though."
"... the League, huh?" I mumble
Last time I saw the League of Villains was back in Kamino, is this villain Chisaki is trying connect with them...
"...Yuki, is something wrong?" Togata worries
I shot my head up "ah yeah, I'm fine. Anyway please proceed" I said
"however, we have been unable to gather any evidence to show that he is planning anything criminal. And for that reason the Shie Hassaikai can it be treated like a criminal organization," Uncle continues "we at the Nighteye office are seeking proof of their criminal activities, time and again, they've made no effort to put on airs that they are doing anything but."

"I think it's great name, Lemillion I like it" I said
"thanks, Yuki" Togata thanked me.
"now let's go with full of energy!" I said

I turn "hm?"
Then I saw two people running toward me
"wow you look pretty cool in personal"
"could I have your autograph?!"
Then I took the pen then give a sign
"there you go" I gave the note book back
"wow..! Thanks" then ran up
I can see there people inspire by me, I can see people are starting to believe in me...
"you got fans, Yuki" Togata pat my shoulder
I smiled "let's go, we still have things to do" I said
After that we proceed to our patrol I can see the city is peaceful, people live in lively living a normal and same life...
Suddenly...
"...ah"
I turn to my side I saw a little girl bumped unto me...
"are you okay?" I worried as I kneel down "you took a tumble there."
"did I hurt you?"
I tried to hold her, but I can see she's seems scared.
But I stroke her head very gently, suddenly she clutch right over me.
Later on I heard foot steps coming from the dark alleyway
"we mustn't cause trouble for our heroes..."
Then I saw a man showed up
"let's go home, Eri"
My eyes are widen.
It's him... it's him...
Kai... Chisaki...
It can't be! He's here rigth in front of me! The leader of Shie Hassaikai! Calm down, calm down or he'll know...
"my apologies on behalf of my daugther, hero" Chisaki said "she gets carried away with her games something and hurt herself. Such a trouble maker, this one."
He's putting an act, I just need to play with it...
"you look familiar?" Chisaki said "are you the new pro, Yuki. I didn't know you were so young"
"yep, I'm just doing daily patrols as usual" I said
I saw Togata came by
"what you doing, Yuki?" Togata ask
"ah, just a little girl accidently bumped into me, but I don't mind" I said
"that awesome mask of yours... you must be members of Shie Hassaikai, right? You're famous around these parts!" Togata put up
"that's right. Pay no attention to the mask... I'm just sensitive to dirt" Chisaki said "this time I first saw you two heroes in these parts, are you rookies? You're both rather young."
"I'm the pro, Lemillion is just my partner for todays patrol" I said
"yeah, that's right! Yuki is my partner in patrol, that's all" Togata said "hey! On your feet partner, we must be prepared to face what the uncertain future brings."
"which office are you working with?" Chisaki ask
"I'm just a student! Yuki is here to teach me about pro stuff. You know students? Like little baby chicks..." Togata said "they're having me participate in field training right now, I was lucky enough to be partnered with Yuki."
He's clearly on guard right now...
We can't mention Uncle's name, we need to get out of here!
"now then, we've got until noon to finish this block, so... let's get going! Please teach all you know, Yuki" Togata said
"S- Sure" I stutter
I tried to get up suddenly... I felt a grip on my shoulders.
I look down I can see the little girl is even more scared
"please... don't...go..." she pleaded
I can tell this girl experience something worst...
"um... your daugther..." I said "she appears to be frigthen by something..."
"it's because I scolded her" Chasaki said
"let's get going" Togata said
"but these bandages don't seem like the kind you would get from playing around" I pointed
From what I can tell this girl's grip is getting tighter not only that she's scared... it's like she doesn't want to let go.
"she happens to fall down a lot" Chisaki said
"a little girl like this, shaking and frightened without saying a word... that doesn't seem normal to me" I said seriously
Things are getting unnatural
"please don't impose your idea of normal on other's families" Chisaki said
"people have all have dispositions after all" Togata said
I can tell Togata is trying to stop me.
This is wrong this is unnatural. But I can't risk Togata's here and everything is getting suspiscious.
With a frightened child right in front of us heroes we can't tolerate this kind of situation...
"tell me..." I said then I look up "what are you doing to this girl?!" I questioned him seriously.
Then Chisaki sighed "all of you heroes are so perceptive..." he said "all right"
"it's an embarassing topic... I don't want to talk about it in the open... could you follow me this way."
I look a Togata we both know what we're thinking 'if anything happens, let me deal with it. We've got no choice but to get her away from him.'
Then I carry Eri around my arms, and I can see she's still frightened. Then we proceed on the dark alleyway.
"you see, I've been quite worried about Eri recently" Chisaki said "no matter what I say to her, all she does is defy me."
'abuse' I thought
"raising a child... can be quite difficult" Togata said
"indeed" Chisaki agrees "they're hard to understand, children."
"especially when thy must be seriously thinking about"
"what kind of person they'll become... what kind of person they can become" he's taking his gloves off.
I can tell he's about to go violent, I need to-
Suddenly, Eri jumps off from my arms then ran to Chisaki...
"Eri?" I called her
Then I saw her hold Chisaki's hand.
"oh, are you done with your tantrums now?" Chisaki ask her
Then Eri nods
"Eri...?"
"she's always like this. I'm sorry, thanks for going out of the way to listen to my worries" Chisaki said "I'm sorry for causing you both so much" then they start walking towards the dark alleyway as they disappear in the dark "well then, good luck with your work."
I felt guilty on myself, I should have take him on when I have a chance...
I could have save her...
"Yuki?" Togata called "we should meet up with Sir. I'll call him"
"... sure..." I barely said
I can't help it, I failed... I failed to save her.
I felt my hands are clenched on my palm...
After that we meet up with Uncle as it start raining droplets of rain dew.
"my apologies! We screwed up" Togata apologize "we never would have guessed that it would turn into those "bumping into the transfer student to the intersection" development."
Then Uncle raise his hand "no this was my mistake" Uncle said "if I'd been "looking" at the two of you before the fact, it could been prevented."
"from the time being, I'm glad you're both safe! I you'd made one wrong move and he became suspiscious of you, things could have gotten dangerous."
"the other day, a band of thieves were in the middle of making their escape. And they ended up triggering a truck accident involving many people."

"I'm sorry Uncle, I failed from your expectation" I apologize
"don't be, you did what's best" Uncle Mirai said
"Yuki is depressed ever since we bumped into Chisaki's daugther" Togata said
"a daugther...?" Uncle repeated
"a girl name Eri. Her arms and legs were all wrapped in bandages" I explain "she was extremely frightened."
"at first I have no idea what circumstances are, but... she was crying for help."
I clench my hand "I was about to apprehend him, but she..." I couldn't continue
"don't start getting arrogant thoughts in your head" Uncle said
"...what...?" I react
"if you try and rush everything, you'll surely fail" Uncle said "if you grew impatient and chased after them, they'd run even further out of your grasp."
"listen Yuki. There are sometimes people are beyond our reach and you want to save them. But..."
"first you must predict what your opponents goal is. And after completing a thorough analysis, you must make flawless preparations for every possible situation."
"you cannot possibly save everyone with will alone. This world is not so easy."
"the truly intelligent villains conceal themselves in the darkness."
"there are cases in which you must bide your time. You'd do well to remember that."
"the two of you are to return to the agency for today" Uncle ordered "let's go Bubble Girl."
"Ah- yes Sir"
Then they both walk further...
Sir Nighteye's POV
From what I can tell, Yuki seems desperate.
Desperate to save that girl, I know she's strong enough to apprehend Chisaki but we don't have any proof...
Yuki, you just to need to wait a little longer
Shie Hassaikai underground hideout in Eri's room
Eri is crying alone in her dark and isolated room. As she embrace herself with a pillow while crying and her tears are overflowing as it falls down from her face.
"her hands... her hands are so gentle... she's so kind" Eri mumbles "I never felt so much kindness... I wish I could see her..."
As Eri remember Justice's voice
'are you okay?'
'did I hurt you?'
'you took a tumble there'
'tell me... what are you doing to this girl?!'
"she touch me. The way she touch me, is so kind and gentle" Eri mumbles
Suddenly the door open.
"hello Eri, I'm Deku. I'll be your temporary watcher for a while" he said
Then Eri hid herself with her blanket.
Then Deku sit beside her bed "I heard you bumped into a pro-hero" he said "mind if you can tell me what he/she looks like?" he ask
But Eri is scared to say a word
"don't worry, I won't hurt you. I just wanna know" Deku smiled
Seconds later... Eri came out from her blanket.
"... she.. she's kind... she has short black hair, with her hair is bunned" she said "she's so gentle... her touch... the way she speak, is so gentle..."
'looks like she met her, but... she became a pro? She became a pro early? Wait there many black haired girls out there. You can't just confirm that's her' Deku thought then he smiled at Eri then stroke her hair "thank you for telling me Eri" then he stood up then walk to the door "I'll be back later to check up on you..." then he smiled then close the door.
As the room return to it's dark isolated features.
Then Eri slump herself on her pillow.
"his eyes... his eyes are so sad" Eri mumbles "but he looks gentle... just like her..."
Yuki's POV
After my internship, I felt guilty. Guilty for not saving her...
I return to height alliance later on I couldn't eat or sleep very well. I still couldn't shake the feeling of not saving her, and also...
Dad's is going to die by the next year.
The next day, I focus on my studies however...
My mind wouldn't shake off.
After that I head to the staff area.
"what do you mean he's not here?" I ask
"Yuki, your father is out training outside" Midnight said "I know he's not a hero anymore but atleast he's doing his best to stay in health."
After that I head outside then I saw Dad uphead running on straight on my direction, as he slow down then stop right in front of me...
"Yuki...?" Dad called "is something wrong?"
"why didn't you tell me" I said
Dadreact "about what?" he ask
"about you, about you're going to die soon?!" I said
Dad pause then look at himself "I'm sorry... I was afraid if I told you about my death you might lose the will to soar high again" he said
"but why?!" I asked "why?!"
"five years ago you listen through me and Sir Nighteye's conversation. The truth is he secretly told me this... that soon I'll die 6 or 7 years" Dad said "if I told you that day, you will be scared. And I know your fear is losing someone important... that's why I hid the truth from you."
"but should it be change, you've no we've been through a lot! It could have been change!" I said
"Yuki, it's not that easy" Dad said "you know Sir Nighteye's quirk will never be wrong. My death will be inevitable."
"but please! Make up with him it might have changed!" I sobbed "I can't afford to lose you, you're the only one who stand as a father to me! I can't do this without you!"
"Yuki, I know it's hard to accept, but there are things that are hard to accept, and I know it'll be hard for you if I suddenly left you all alone." Dad said "but look at me now" he suddenly bring up "the battle in USJ and Kamino. I fought and survive it, remember Yuki..."
I look up
"the path ahead might be dangerous, but I'll still continue and fight fate. Because as I'm here, I will not lose, I will not leave you" Dad said "because that's a job of a hero and as your only Dad..."
I felt all my tears trickle down from my face when he said those...
Then I ran up then hugged him...
"Promise me...Promise you'll live!" I said "Promise you'll stay..."
"even of that future will happen promise that you'll survive."
Then Dad stroke my hair "don't worry, Yuki" he said "I won't leave you, I'll be there when you need me. I promise..."
All those went through me as I felt him slipping away...
I just can't afford to lose him...
The hero who saved the world... the hero who created peace... the man who chose me... the man who raise me as his own...
I don't want to lose him, All Might my Dad.
Even though we're not related by blood. You're still my Dad no matter what happens...
