Shoto's POV
I know Yuki will be watching I know she's expecting me in the finals. If I win this I'll tell her, well if she wins it's only fine.
I'm still in the waiting room I kept looking at my left-side I know it's power, that bastard expect me to use it. But Yuki told me to use it not for him but for me and her, if I were to use my left-side not to hurt her but to defeat her. Her determination to win is as desperate as mine, I clench my hand.
I remember what Mom called me 'unbearable' I thought before she pour boiling water on my face. I remeber Yuki that day.
Flashback 8 years ago
I was crying alone I never felt so much pain after what Mom called me then pour boiling water, I buried myself on my knees. I felt so alone without Mom that day, I hated that bastard it his fault why Mom did this to me.
"Shoto!"
Suddenly I heard a voice, a very familiar voice a kind one.
"Shoto what happened?!" she ask
I look up then I saw her
"...my mom called me unbearable..." I sobbed "then she poured boiling water on me..." I kept sobbing
I felt warm I look up she was hugging me.
"it's okay, it's okay" she kept saying while she caress my hair "she didn't mean it" she said "she didn't mean to say those to you. Your Mom still loves you, I believe in her. You just have to be strong and believe in yourself."
I saw her smile the same one who gave me comfort, she never left me that day. Every time she see me crying she's always there to comfort me.
Flashback ended
I look unto myself now I can see how much we changed from years ago and now. I look on my left-side once again "Yuki I promise I'll win this, and I'll be a hero for you" I mumble my words.
Suddenly the door slammed open, I turn my heads I saw Bakugou.
He looks confuse "hey what are you doing here this is my space to-"
"crap, this is waiting room No. 2!"
I ignore him and stay silent I look away
"alright fine I may have walked into the wrong room, but don't think that I'm gonna be on top of my game you got that" then he slammed the table along with his explosion "YOU GOTTA BRING A LOT TO THIS ICY-HOT!!"
I stay calm till I heard Bakugou say the same thing similar to Yuki.
"Yuki"
"huh?"
"she said the same thing" I said "she told me to do my best"
Then he clench his fist "what does she has to do with this" he grumble he kicked the table "it's all between you and me, once you lose I'll be in the finals. I'll defeat Yagi then prove that I'm stronger than her and All Might. Focus on the match whatever your family problems are, whatever you're feeling none of that craps matter, just make sure you don't hold back. Use your flames on me I want everyone to know I beat you at your best" then he left
I look at myself then I remember Yuki's words 'Shoto it doesn't matter you use it, I know because it is your decision to use this power or not. Just remember stay true to yourself. And I know the fire on your left side is not your father, this fire is you I believe you are strong and more kind. You just have to accept things that you cannot accept' that's what she said. I must win, I can't promise I will win but I'll try for her.
Yuki's POV
I sighed on my seat, I can feel the air is tense. Shoto is facing Bakugou which is he's not gonna hold back, if Shoto still holding his power he won't make it to the finals. Please Shoto I know you can do it.
"Yuki, are you okay?" Ochaco worries
"I'm fine" I said
"are you sure, you seemed worried about Todoroki" she said "Yuki, if you're worried about him he can do it"
"I'm just worried that he's still not using his full power" I said
"come to think of it, Iida said something about Todoroki and his left-side" Ochaco mentioned "he said in battle he never use his left-side."
"I guess he doesn't wanna use his full power" Ochaco said
"I don't think so" I said "there might be a chance he'll his flames at this rate."
I kept thinking about him he promised to win, if he doesn't then... I'll. I sighed why am I being so emotional.
Moment later I saw Shoto facing Bakugou at the stadium I can see they're both serious.
Shoto's POV
I look up I can see Yuki is watching me I can see she's worried. If she really want me to use my left-side not for that bastard, then I'll try use my left side for her. I looked up front I cansee Bakugou is desperate to defeat me we're a few feet away.
"Now begin!"
Then I use my right-side to create an ice prison, now Bakugou's side is completely frozen.
"Todoroki use some crazy ice blast, Bakugou is completely buried" Present Mic said "is it possible we already had a winner down there"
I observe the ice then I can hear explosions inside, seconds later the ice cracks then explode. I jump back I can see Bakugou survive my ice.
Bakugou's hands are steaming I can see he's readying his explosions "you've got some pretty powerful attacks"
I sprint up
"but you're bad at it" he said then use his explosion to sprint faster
I tried to use my right-side
He dodged using a blast
I pause then he grab my shoulder "are underestimating me, idiot!" he threw me.
Then I created an ice wave to slide around him
I saw him as he tried to use his explosion but I grab his arm with my left arm.
"use your left-side"
I heard his voice
"do it, Shoto"
I pause but I threw Bakugou.
I landed back to the stadium, I couldn't stand that bastard. I couldn't promise Yuki to use my left-side for her
"stop screwing around!" Bakugou said "what you think I'm not worthy of your fire!"
I stood up I can see his hands are using his quirk.
"you bastard! I'll tell you what will happen of you make a fool out of me!" he shouted
I became anxious, he's getting serious
Yuki's POV
Shoto he's still holding back, I grip my palm. I can't stand seeing him like this, especially his Father is here just to see his flames. I know how much he couldn't bare to use his flames because of him, but I believe he'll use it not for his father but for himself.
Shoto's POV
"I'll tell you, I have a doubt that I'll be the best student in the festival!" Bakugou shouted "that's only possible if you come at me as hard as you can! there's no point if you fight me with the same power you useagainst the others! If you're here win why don't you use your full power if you want to be in the finals!" he shouted then he sprints up "show everyone that you wanted to destroy me!"
I'm sorry Bakugou... I couldn't use my left-side agianst you, you don't know what it means to me.
"COME ON, SHOTO!"
I heard a voice the same one.
"YOU CAN DO IT, DO YOUR BEST!" she shouted "I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT!"
Yuki, her voice her encouragement she always makes me stronger, if she wants me to win this match then I'll do it for her.
"that nerd" Bakugou scoffs
I felt all Yuki's words surging through me, I felt the fire in my left-side is rising 'Yuki, thank you' I thought. I can see Bakugou is getting fired up, I can feel my flames are rising I remember all my memories about my Mom, but all of that was forgotten when I just heard her voice.
"SHOTO, YOU CAN DO IT!"
I can hear her cheering me, she's giving me the courage to rise up.
I face up front as I use my flames against Bakugou. 'Yuki you gave the strength to use my left-side. You're always so kind to give me the courage to fight' I thought. I blast my flames towards Bakugou for a second I can see my clothes are half burnt I can feel the flames surging through me, I couldn't hear my father's voice but I can hear Yuki cheering me. I put my flames down to see of Bakugou's condition.
"what Todoroki used a huge fire blast what has become of Bakugou now!" Present Mic said
Then the smoke clears up I saw Bakugou standing
I gasped that he's still standing, wait...
He's shaking he fell unconscious.
I pant as I look up on the crowd I can see their all surprised.
"Bakugou has been immobilized, Todoroki advances to the final round!" Midnight announce.
I felt a little tired but when I saw Yuki she's smiling. I bet she's proud that I use my left-side for me, but truth I did this for her.
Yuki's POV
I felt happy when I saw him won, I saw him use flames he's didn't hesitate. I breath out for a second there I thought he was gonna lose.
"Yuki, you seemed happy?" Ochaco ask
"I'm just surprised that Shoto finally accepts his power" I said
Shoto's POV
I walked out of the stadium then I saw that bastard is waiting for me.
"that wasn't for you bastard" I said "I did it for myself"
I walked out leaving him hanging.
Yuki's POV
Now that's over I head to Shoto's waiting room, I want to congratulate him for making to the finals. I stood in front of the door.
"well this is it" I said
I open the door "hey Shoto I want to-"
I cut off when I saw a bare chest, he stared at me
"Yuki?"
I felt my face heat up, I slam the door closed as I slid down cover my face.
"I'm sorry Shoto! I didn't mean to see you changing!" I became flustered. 'I just saw Shoto bare chest, I'm so embarassed' I buried my face.
Moments later I buried my face with my knees, then I heard the door opened.
"Yuki, are you alright?" Shoto came out from the door
"I'm fine, just got surprised" my voice muffled while I'm covering myself.
"you don't look fine" he said
I stood up as I calm myself "there I'm fine" I said back to my normal self.
He stared at me
"Shoto, I'm really happy that you made in the finals" I congratulate him "I was surprised that you use flames, I'm happy that you were able to it without hesitation."
"I did it not for myself" he said
"hm, so who did you dedicated it?" I ask
"I did it for you" he said "I did promise to be in the finals, that we will fight each other of who's the best."
I smiled "ufu, you really live up for your promise" I said "but I'm glad that our promised match will come true" I said
"Yuki, I'll win this just to prove myself that I'll be a hero" he said
I grinned "hm, Shoto you're already a hero to me. But I know you can do better just by observing you" I said "and just you know I won't go easy on you in the last match, since I promise I will use my very best in the finals. Now I'll use it to beat you in the finals."
He smiled "if you say that, then I won't go easy on you either. I'm going to use my left-side not to hurt you but to defeat you" he declared.
I grinned "then it's settled" I said.
After that we took a 15 minute break.
I was so bored in waiting room No. 1
I sighed
Then I heard a knock.
"come in" I said
Then I saw Dad came in.
"Dad?"
"I'm so proud that you made it in the finals" he said "I'm so happy for you"
"yeah, now that me and Shoto are facing each other. Our promised match is about to begin" I said
"promised match" he repeated
"before the battle started we promise each other that we will face each other in finals to see who's the best student" I said
"I see, then you both got in the finals. Then what Young Todoroki did was all for this match, then I heard your voice encouraging him earlier. I see, that he was encourage by you" he said "you really are full of surprises, now I'm going to watch your match. I can't wait to see you two fight."
I smile "I'll win this Dad, I won't let you down" I said.
He laughs "you really are promising" he said then we heard Present Mic's voice is calling our names "now get out there show them what you're made of."
After I head to the stadium I can see the light at the end of the tunnel as I pass it through, I can hear many peoples applauses as I walk towards the stadium.
"it's the final round!" Present Mic said "it's gonna be a flashy and powerful match we're gonna have. On the left corner we have Yuki Yagi from the hero course and the other side facing her classmate, Shoto Todoroki!"
Then the people applauses
"now which one of these strongest students will become the winner!"
I look at him with a confident smile "I'll give my all Shoto, I'll show you the strength and power that I've been saving" I said
"I know, that's why I'll do what it takes to win" he said.
"the match between Yagi and Todoroki will now begin"
Then I saw Shoto brew an ice prison towards me.
"wow what a huge ice blast, what happened to Yagi!"
Shoto POV
Did she got buried no she should be smashing the walls. She's not gonna fall that easily.
Yuki's POV
I felt the wind on my face, I saw Shoto on the ground "Detroit... Smash...!" then I send him a powerful wind.
I saw him stood on his ground using his ice.
I landed on the stadium very heavily.
"Yagi just fell from the sky very surprising!" Present Mic said
"she just jumped before she got blasted by the ice" Uncle Aizawa said
I look at Shoto then I sprint up as I stop behind him, I'm just gonna knock him down.
I saw his eyes turn to me. I gasped he use his left side to protect himself, I quickly jumped back...
"you can't get close to me, Yuki" he said "unless you want to get burned"
I quickly put out the fire on my right shoulder as I think of something.
"if I want to win even I have to get burned or freeze" I said "I'll do what it takes to win"
Then he sprints up as he use ice to slide, I quickly sprint up to him as we collide with our quirks, "Nova Smash!" I hit him then he use his ice to shield himself, then he use his fire at me I quickly dodge it.
Then I jump back he sends ice towards me as it grabs my foot then I smash the ice away. Then I jump off landing on the stadium floor.
Then he sends another ice blast towards me "Smash!" I destroyed the ice blast. Then I jump up then I smash the stadium ground earning a tremor around the stadium.
"an earthquake!" Present Mic became surprised
"Yagi's strength can be overwhelming just like her father" Uncle Aizawa said
Then I saw Shoto on the floor as he try to stood up. Nows my chance-
"huh?" I react
I look down it feels cold I saw ice is covering my feet. Shoto you're so clever you tried to act weakened while I thought I took the chance.
Shoto's POV
I looked at her trying to get out from the ice
"you underestimate me, Yuki" I said "I'm sorry but I have to win"
Then I saw her eyes are filled with worries, but behind those worries she's saying that 'it's okay this is a match after all' I thought.
Then I put my right hand on the stadium floor "I'm sorry, Yuki..." then I saw my ice extend to her body.
"no, no this can't be!!" she panicked "I won't give up!!!" she said while she reach up "No I-!"
Then she tried to reach out but her whole body is frozen, I can see her through the ice "I'm really sorry..." I mumble. I look behind then I saw everyone is shocked
"Yagi is. Immobilized" Midnight is stuttering "Todoroki is-"
Suddenly the ice explodes, I cover myself from the blast. Then I saw the steam cleared out.
My eyes are widen "impossible" I mumble
I saw Yuki is standing and panting her ice prison no longer exist
She grinned "I won't give up!" she's shivering "I told you neither you burn me or freeze me I won't give up!" she shouted
Then we heard an applause
"wow, for the last second Yagi just smashed her frozen prison. How cool is that!"
All Might's POV
Yuki you even withstand that, you never ceased to amaze me. Even though you're fighting your childhood friend you never hesitate to fight each other.
Yuki's POV
I kept breathing I felt my whole body is freezing 'damn it, he almost got me' I thought then ready stance. Then sprint out "Smash!" then he shield himself then use a fire blast against me. I felt the heat but I ignored it as I landed a punch on him.
My gym shirt is already burnt I removed it showing my extra black shirt that I'm wearing then my bunned hair is already down.
"you just withstand even with my fire" Shoto said 'she looks different without her bunned hair, she looks more beautiful without it' Shoto thought
I grinned "my endurance can be strong but at the same time I'm stronger" I said
"then I'll use my fullest to beat you!" Shoto shouted
Then he send many ice blast on my way then I kept dodging them leaft amd right. I can see he's decreasing the space. However "Nova Smash!" I destroyed the walls to smithereens scattering the ice around the stadium.
POV's
'I won't give up, I need to live up to Dad's pride and peoples expectation that I can be worthy to be a hero' Yuki thought
'her desperation, I see now. Her eyes are filled with courage she's not afraid to fight me' Shoto thought
'their fight their movements, this is not a matched with personal grudges or ranks, this is a fight for their pride I can see their both fighting what it takes to be a hero' All Might thought
The two of them ready their strongest move Shoto fired up a huge ice blast
Yuki sprints up ready her One for All at full force then Cementoss tried to stop them 'I'll do what it takes' Shoto and Yuki thought, then Shoto ready his fire
then Yuki focus her power in one smash 'to be a hero' then they both collide.
As it created a huge explosion around the stadium.
"holy crap balls!!!" Mineta screamed
"this is crazy!!!" Kaminari yelled
The class almost got blown away by the gust of power Yuki and Shoto created. Seconds later the gust disperse out from the stadium was covered in dust around the battle.
"what just happend?!" Present Mic exclaim "what is up with your students?!"
"they both had a determination to win at the same time they have a mixed of reaction between the two of them"
"wait that's what cause the explosion! how strong can those two can be?!" Present Mic stood up from his seat "I can't see a thing is the match already over?!"
Then the dust cleared out seeing Yuki and Shoto panting a few feet away from their position.
'despite all my power she's still standing, I felt tired and pain around my body but I got to ignore it' Shoto's thought
Yuki's POV
Despite my strength and power I never been so beyond using it, but I can see Shoto is still standing. Suddenly...
Then I saw Shoto took one step then he starts shaking as he fell unconscious on the stadium floor.
I gasp
"Todoroki is... immobilized" Midnight announce "Yagi won"
"without further adue the final match is officialy over it means our champion is Yuki Yagi"
"I won" I mumble
I heard an applause around me I saw people giving their applause, then I remember Dad do every time he wins a battle. So I raise my left arm in victory then I can hear all the people became louder. I smiled as I won the match and I became champion in the sports festival.
After I won I walk towards the nurse's office to check on Shoto. I open the door seeing him unconscious and Recovery Girl is watching over him.
"how is he?" I ask
"he's tired I manage to heal his wounds, he'll wake up eventually" she said
I breath out "thank goodness he'll be okay" I said
"I see you have feelings for this boy" Recovery Girl bring up
"wha?!" I react "come on Recovery Girl we're just friends" I said
"Yuki, I can see you two are friends. But I can see between the two of you are very special" she said "Yuki, your feelings for this boy is very true so you don't have to be afraid to reject it" then she hop off from her seat "I'll leave you two for a while you can get some gummies from my drawer if you want" she left.
I felt silence in the room I turn to Shoto, I can see he's still unconscious from our attacks. I just took a seat then wait for him to wake up.
I kept staring at him he's sleeping peacefully I sighed "Shoto have I really fell in love with you" I mumble I felt my heart race just by looking at him "did I just fell in love with my childhood best friend" I smiled "why upon the boys you're the one that my heart chose" I hold my chest as I felt my hear beats faster "if my heart chose you then did your heart chose me or somebody else?" I pause "I'll just just watch you till you wake up."
Shoto's POV
I open my eyes slowly I felt tired and my whole body aches, the next thing I knew I'm in the nurse's office. What happened 'I remember, I was fighting Yuki on our promised match. Then I felt tired and my whole body aches maybe I must have fell uncoscious then maybe I lost the fight' I thought then sighed. I felt something weird on my right arm I look then I saw Yuki is sleeping. How long has she been here or how long she's been sleeping on my arm.
"so... warm"
Did she just sleep talk?
I smiled just by looking at her she's sleeping peacefully, I saw her lips. I felt she's tempting me to kiss her but if do that I just stole her first kiss I don't want her to be angry. I'll just caressed her cheeks instead.
"hm?"
Her eyes open slowly then she looked at me.
"Shoto, you're awake" she said
"how long have you been here?" I ask
Then she looked at me "about 30 minutes or so" she said
So she's been here half an hour I can see she's been waiting for me to wake up.
Yuki's POV
I just woke up a minute ago I can't believe I fell asleep.
"so you won" Shoto said
"yeah" I answer "now that I won you have socialize more" I said
He looked at me "it's fine" he said
I giggle "you know it's only fine, you can socialize on people when ever you want I don't really force you" I pause then it reminds me "so about you're saying. That you wanted to say something to me if you win?" I reminded
His eyes averted "it's it's-"
"Yagi?!" suddenly the door opened
Shoto and I got surprised
"Kirishima, everyone?!" I exclaim
"oh I see Todoroki is awake" Yaomomo said
"yeah, your fight was awesome" Kaminari said
"yeah, especially when you guys collide everything went blowing" Mina said
"then I was cool you guys are fine" Mineta said
"yeah, especially Yuki won" Ochaco reminded
I look at them "thanks guys" I thanked them "thanks for watching our match"
"oh almost forgot, you two had to go to the awarding ceremony" Ochaco said "Miss Midnight told you two have to go there immediatley now that Bakugou is awake"
"yeah, we heard he was restrained because Todoroki won the match against him, then start saying he should be in 1st place instead of Yagi" Kaminari said
I sweat drop when I heard Bakugou became angry that he didn't became champion. "well I guess Shoto and I should go. You guys go on ahead we'll be there" I said
"okay, see you guys at the ceremony" Ochaco said
Then the rest of our classmates left.
I look at Shoto he was trying to stand
"I'll help you" I said
"I can do this" he said
The he almost fell luckily I caught him
I sighed "I should probably help you while we walk" I suggested
After that we walked through the tunnel to the stadium, I'm holding Shoto's hand since he's kinda not in the condition to walk. I guess I have to assist him or... I shook my head 'stop it Yuki' I thought
"are you okay?" Shoto ask
"ah yeah, just a little tense" I said
I'm so stupid.
Well we stood up on our podium, I was 1st place, Shoto was in 2nd then I saw Bakugou glaring at us it's like he's trying say something to us. So creepy he's like an feral animal. I can hear Midnight is announcing the award ceremony then I heard the music and fireworks are being used, then the stadium we're placed move up as the crowd saw us as they gave us a round of applause.
I look at the cameras as I smiled at the front, then I look at Shoto he looks down
"Shoto?" I called
He notice me
Then I signal him to smile
Then I saw him smile lightly
"now let's break out the hardware, of course there's only one person distributing the awards" midnight said
Then I look up I saw Dad on the roof of the stadium, then he did his signature laugh then the crowd made an applause from his entrance.
"citizens I am here to!"
"All Might the No. 1 hero"
I sweat drop since Midnight just ruined the moment.
Midnight open the box of three medals "so now that you're here All Might why don't you serve the presentation" she said.
"Young Bakugou" Dad look at him "hm? This is a little much" Dad took off the muzzle
"All Might" Bakugou became angry "winning 3rd place doesn't prove that I'm one of the best one here I should be the one on 1st place, even the world considers me in 3rd place I refuse to accept this!" he shouted.
"in a world where we're being compared one another there are very few who keeps their eyes focus on the top spot" Dad said
"however Yagi is in 1st place I refuse to take 3rd place even though the whole world accepts it!" Bakugou shouts
"alright let's just put this into you" then he put the medal
"get off me All Might!"Bakugou scoffs
I can see Bakugou is struggling he looks creepy
Then Dad gave him a hug
Then Dad walk up to Shoto "Young Todoroki congratulation" he put the medal around his neck "I assume you did your very best during the finals"
"Yuki gave me the courage to use my very best" Shoto said "I want to be the kind of hero you are but my path isn't as clear as I thought it was then Yuki is always giving the courage to rise and trust myself. I trust your daugther, All Might. She's more to me and there's still I need to settle someone very soon."
He nod "hm, I never seen you this sort before" Dad hugged him "you really trust my daugther and I can see she trust you, you two are always stronger together. I'm proud that she met you."
"I'm glad that I met her too" Shoto said
Then Dad walked to me
"Young Yagi, my pride and joy who shares your courage to others, it is my duty as a hero, the symbol of peace and as your father" did Dad just almost cried then he wipes off "you showed great power, strength, pride and courage I give this medal as a reminder that you got this far" then he put the gold medal around me.
I look at the medal as I check it.
"I'm really proud of you Yuki, I never thought you would do your best till the end. Even though you give courage to your friends you're like a true hero" Dad said
I almost cried then jumped the give him a hug "I love you Dad, thank you for giving me this life" I said
Then he return the hug "I love you too, Yuki, you're my pride and joy I'll never replace you or either leave. I just want to say I'm happy for you" he said
Then we broke the hug
"here they are the winner of this year sports festival, but listen closely" Dad announce "any of you 1st year can ended up standing on these podiums, think of what you've done today. You've challenge each other and climbed even closer towards your goal of being pros I think the next generation of heroes is proving to be our must be promising one yet" then Dad points up "so I have one thing to say, I want you everyone say it with me"
"thank you everyone for hard work!" Dad said
"Plus Ultra!" the crowd said
Well that's a shame now Dad is getting scorned because it was the perfect time to say Plus Ultra.
After that we changed back to our school uniform after I got out I saw Dad is waiting for me outside.
"Dad, what are doing here?" I ask
"Yuki, I forgot to tell you, that I set a party table at your class" he said "I ask Aizawa to borrow the classroom for your celebration for the sports festival, I already prepare the tables and stuff"
I hugged him "thanks Dad you're the best" I said
After that he left then I told my classmates about it.
"no way All Might set a party for us" Kaminari said
"awesome, didn't think All Might would give us a congratulate party" Sero said
"hey Bakugou are you coming" Kirishima called
"Nah, I'm leaving" then he left
After that we head to the classroom we saw a lot of stuff and music, looks like Dad over did it.
"wow this is amazing" Mina said
"everyone let's get this party started" Kaminari said
Then we start partying for like 1 hour, I saw everyone dancing and singed I can see how happy they are.
"Yuki?"
I turn around and see
"Shoto, what's up?"
"can I talk to you somewhere just the two of us" he said
"sure" I answered.
After that we left the classroom for a while then head outside the school grounds, I can see it's night time and the stars are shining bright. We stood each other as I face him.
"Shoto are you okay? You look so nervous" I worried
Then he faced me "I, I just want to say this back at the sports festival. But you won so I don't think I should-"
I cut him by putting my point finger on his lips "Shoto, I didn't force you. You can tell me you don't have to be shy it's just me" I said
Then he sighed then he's blushing "Yuki, I really want to tell you this. I'll just come up and say it" he breath in and out "Yuki, you've been my friend since we were 6 years old."
"You gave the kind of kindness that I never felt before, it's always your smile that saves me from my depression and when ever I was crying alone you were always there to comfort me"
"and when we can't see each other you tried to stay in touch with me, for the past years you tried sending letters every day and parcels in any ocassions."
"When I saw you on our first day I thought it was you that you've grown more beautiful and you're still the same. back then during the my match agaisnt Bakugou you gave the courage to rise up, that time I remember Mom's face when she called me unbearable but all that was erased when I heard your voice. I became surprised on what he said "Shoto? What are you saying?" I ask
He breath out "what I'm saying is..." then he took a breath

I just heard him confessed "you love me...?" I said
He nod "hm, I loved you ever since the day you've gave me kindness, warmth and courage. You never stopped comforting me till the end" he said
I look up to him as I get embarassed "wow, I never thought my best friend would fell in love with me" I said

I sighed "the truth is..." I breath out "I love you too, Shoto..." I said straight "I don't know why but, I can tell just by being with you. You're always there for me you never leave. I guess you to have the same gentle kindness and warmth behind that cold personality" I said
"I guess I really love you a lot despite on what you've been through I never stop encouraging you" I pause "but I'm not ready for this kind of relationship" I said nervously.
He look down "I understand."
I look up "but it doesn't mean I don't like you, I mean I really like you and I accept your confession. But I'm not ready for a relationship yet" I said.
He look up "I see" then he took a few steps forward "then I'll stay by your side, until you're ready" he said "till that time comes I'll be yours and yours truly. I'll await for your answer" he swore.
I blushed "you don't have to make a vow" I sighed "but if you want to then I won't stop you."
Then Shoto leans forward gave me a peck on my left cheek he step back "I will wait Yuki, and I'll be yours" he said
I blushed hardly I can't hardly calm myself 'Shoto, just gave me a kiss on my cheek. I feel embarassed' I thought then I hold myself together. I nod then I grab his hand "let's go, before the others missed us" I said then we start walking.
'he really confessed and I confessed to him, I'm not really ready for him. I'll just wait for the day I'll be ready for him. Now that the sports festival is over I can rest easy.'
